When Inuyasha wakes up the next morning Kagome is not by his side. He sniffs the air and smells demon blood. "Damn it!" he walks outside. "Miroku, Sango. Kagome's been kidnapped come on." Inuyasha sniffs the air every once and a while to see if he can smell Kagomes sent. "Damn it! I promised her! last night I promised her I would never leave her!" Inuyasha yells in anger. "Calm down! Inuyasha its not your fault." Miroku tells him. "yes it is..." Inuyasha says.
They continue walking and they soon spot a far away temple. and the sent of the demon blood gets stronger. "That way!" says Inuyasha. They run up the mountain. Inuyasha sees marks where someone was dragged. These spots are also filled with blood. "This is where they dragged Kagome.." Inuyasha says softly. "If her wounds continue to bleed freely she will die soon..." Miroku tells Sango and Inuyasha. " Then lets hurry!" Inuyasha says. They begin to run up the mountain.
Then they are soon stopped by a mysterious woman who appears before them "Who are you?!" Miroku screams "You've met me before monk." The woman says. "Kagura!" Inuyasha says "hahaha! that's correct. You know you're smarter then you look Inuyasha." says Kagura. "Grr...I have to save Kagome now get out of my way!" Inuyasha screams impatiently. "hm...down boy there's no point in saving your little girlfriend. She's on the virge of dieing. Her wounds are bleeding freely." With kagura saying this. Inuyasha grows angry "Shut up!" Inuyasha clenches his fists tightly. "Inuyasha we got this go find Kagome!" Miroku says.
Inuyasha leaps over Kagura's head and runs toward the castle *No, Kagome can't die. Kikyo is dead..there is no point in me dwelling in the past...but Kagome is Kikyo's rencarnation. That means Kikyo will sitll be with me deep within Kagome. Maybe if i can explain this to Kikyo her tattered soul can finally rest..* Inuyasha reaches the front of the castle, "Inuyasha!"he turns to see Miroku and Sango "She got away" Sango tells Inuyasha "We'll worrie about her later. I have to save Kagome!" they bust down the entrance towards the temple. Inuyasha sees Kagome laying on the ground not moving.
