Kagome wakes up during the night soaking with sweat. She looks around and sees everyone sleeping. Shippo curled up in a little ball laying next to Kirara, Miroku sleeping while sitting up and Sango laying on the ground a few feet away from Miroku. "A dream it was..just a dream.." She tells herself. She gets out of bed slowly wondering where the other three had went. She walks outside to find Kouga in a far far away tree snoring rhythmically. Reena, no where to be found. And Inuyasha of course still up keeping watch on top of the roof. "Kagome...are you alright?" He asks from above. Kagome gasps quickly and looks up alarmed. " Yeah.." She says. Inuyasha looks down at her sadly. After all, he did betray her ONCE AGAIN and in Inuyasha's eyes it felt like they weren't on speaking terms.
Inuyasha jumps off of the roof and lands on his feet in front of Kagome. "Are you sure you're alright?" He asks. At that moment Kagome begins to cry and runs into Inuyasha's arms crying into his chest. "I had the worst dream!" She says while sobbing. Inuyasha wraps his clawed hands around her back gentley and comforts her. "What was it about?" He asks softly. She looks up at him tears glistening in her eyes. " Inuyasha you're not..going to save me are you?" She asks. Inuyasha looks at her shocked not knowing what to say but Kagome knew what he was thinking. He wasn't...he couldn't he was so hung on Kikyo how could he? "So..their isn't a place for me in your heart than is there?" She asks sadly looking into Inuyasha eyes. Inuyasha had been flushed completely and didn't know what to say. "Well...Inuyasha. I guess this is good-bye." She says standing face-to-face with him. She walks away sadly looking back on Inuyasha tears pouring out of her eyes like a sink faucet.
Inuyasha does nothing but stand there. He didn't want to let her go but he couldn't help himself. Something was holding him back, Maybe his past..maybe it was Kikyo. He didn't know he just knew he had to let Kagome go. "Kagome wait..." He says sadly. Kagome turns around slowly. " I-I I'm sorry.." He says sadly. He wanted to say more but he couldn't bring himself to tell her how he felt about her. He truely did love her but he was still very in love with Kikyo. Kagome smiles sadly and walks off into the night. Inuyasha watches as she fades away in the darkness.
"YOU stupid DOG!!!" Reena screams from behind. Inuyasha falls flat on his ass petrified. "How could you!!! Ahhhh! I'm gonna kill you! I swear I'm gonna chop off your skin,burn you and watch you die slowly, and painfully!! How could you Inuyasha? Kagome doesn't desirve to be hurt like that you've hurt her more than she ever should have been hurt in her life. First thing tommorrow morning we're going to find her and I want you to tell her how you feel. Don't leave words left un said you'll regret it later." Reena says. "I can't.." He says. Reena gets in his face screaming. "Do you not understand that Kagome is dieing!! Wake up Inuyasha these few days will be your last with her so make the best out of them! I can peer into your heart. You love her and you know you do! you have to tell her!!!!!!" Inuyasha stares at Reena than nods lightly as she storms off pissed.
