(I don't own ANY, I'll shall say it again, ANY of the Inuyasha Characters. I own ONLY!! Isa, Kayko and Shaka)

Sango sat on Kirara's back thinking of what Keade had told them back at the hut. 3 women really protected the jewel and Kikyo betrayed the small group. Sango stared at the new addition to the group, Isa. She had decided to run next to Kirara, wanting to stay as far away from Inuyasha as she could.

Sango sighed; she could see the hurt in Isa's eyes, no matter how hard she tried to cover it up. To her it seemed she was trying to look as cold as Sesshoumaru. Isa looked out the corner of her eye at Sango. Sango looked ahead. She felt so sorry for the half demon next to her. Miroku was running up next to Inuyasha. Sango could see that Inuyasha wasn't running fast, just keeping a descent jog as they made their way across the country.

Sango felt a little jolt on Kirara and looked behind her. Isa had jumped up on to Kirara's back and sat down. She gave Sango an apologetic smile. Sango smiled back and looked forward.

“There's no reason to feel sorry for me. I'll be fine.” Sango was shocked the woman spoke to her and looked back at her.

Isa just smiled at her and Sango returned it. Isa laid her head on the slayers shoulder and closed her eye.

“You don't mind if I sleep a little do you?” The sound of exhaustion clear in her voice.

“Not at all.” Sango replied as she looked forward. Seemed like it was going to be a very interesting trip.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~OOOOOOOOOOOOO~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Isa lay against a rock. Sango had invited her to go to the hot spring with her and Kagome and she took the invitation. She didn't want to stay behind with Inuyasha. Shippo floated around the hot spring humming a little lullaby that Kagome got stuck in his head. Isa stared up at the starry sky. Sango looked at her and smiled.
“So when was the last time you sat in a hot spring with anyone?” Sango asked. Isa just smiled.
“In what way, like with friends or with a lover?” Isa joked. Sango giggled and Kagome looked at her disgustedly. Isa really didn't care what the so-called miko thought of her but she did like Sango.
“With friend silly. I don't think Kagome wants to hear sex stories.” Sango and Isa giggled.
“Then remind me later of the sex stories and me and you can swap them. But still, the last time with a friend, it was YEARS ago. Before Inuyasha was sealed to the tree. Kayko and I decided to have a girls night, it was also the breeding season and we found ourselves a cave blocked it off and made our way to the little hot spring inside.” She gave a sad smile. Sango looked off.
“I didn't mean to bring up bad memories.” She started messing with a strand of hair that started to curl from the humidity of the water,
“Oh they aren't bad memories, I just miss the mutt girl.” Sango gave her a smile and Isa returned it.
“I hope we find her. I would really like to meet her. She sounds like fun.” Sango said as she leaned back.
“Oh she is. Anyways enough of me, I want to learn more about you guys. You've probably heard enough of me.” Sango giggled and Kagome sighed. She couldn't stand to be mean to the woman, even with her past with Inuyasha.
They sat there in the hot spring, talking for hours about their past, about their parents, which that subject was quickly pushed aside. Sango caught on to the hint quickly and made sure the subject was null-in-void. Shippo soon piped in, not wanting to be left out of the conversation.
Soon the girls and Shippo got out of the hot spring. Isa did her best impersonation of a dog shaking off before she got dressed and the girls laughed at her. With all them dressed the made their way back to the campsite. Miroku smiled as they walked in and walked over to Isa.
“I am terribly sorry I'm asking you this now instead of when I first met you.” He held her hands as Sango reached for her Hiraikotsu and Inuyasha hand made a fist
“Would you bare my children?” Sango held Hiraikotsu over her head when Isa spoke up.
“Of course I would love to bare you a child.” Everyone looked at her in shock even Miroku who soon smiled.
“Really?” He asked excitedly.
“No, what kind of woman do you take me for?!” her hand fisted up and hit him upside the head and he fell over. Swirls in his eyes. Sango laughed and Inuyasha sat back down, slightly glaring at Miroku. Kagome looked at Miroku weird and shook her head.
“Do you ever learn Miroku?” He slowly pulled himself from the ground and rubbed his head and smile.
“Sorry, I have to ask, it's in my nature.” Everyone rolled their eyes and walked off. Kagome rolled out her sleeping bag and crawled in. Sango curled up next to Kirara and Miroku leaned up against a tree like Inuyasha. Isa jumped up into a tree and leaned up against slowly closing her eyes and falling asleep.
Isa woke up having a small voice slowly shaking her. Apparently Inuyasha warned them of her morning temper. She slowly opened an eye seeing Shippo shaking slightly looking at her. She gave a smile and he smiled back and sighed. Isa yawned and wrapped her arms around him and closed her eyes. Shippo grunted at the sudden contact and froze when he was pulled close to her. He looked around wondering what was going to happen next.
Isa smirked inwardly. She was having fun with this. She wasn't going to hurt the small pup only mess with him. He slowly starts pushing against her trying to get out of her hold but it only tightened as she mumbled something incoherent.
Shippo looked at her weird and poked her head.
“Uh…miss Isa, can you get up. We need to get moving before Inuyasha becomes cranky.” A loud voice yelled from below at Shippo's comment.
“I AM NOT CRANKY!!” Shippo rolled his eyes and looked at Isa who was just smiling at him. He let out the breath of air he had been holding in as Isa stood up and jumped out of the tree. Sango shook her head at the woman. She was doing everything on purpose to piss Inuyasha off. Yeah this little trip was DEFENTLY going to be interesting.
The day seemed to creep by with a bunch of arguing between the two hanyou's. Sango walked behind them, Kirara in her arms and Hiraikotsu over her shoulder. Miroku walked next to her, his staff being the only other thing that made noise. Kagome walked behind Sango, pushing her bike along with Shippo in the bike basket.
The air went quiet when Inuyasha and Isa turned their heads from one another, their arms crossed over their chest. Sango couldn't help but think they acted so much alike. Isa shot Sango a glare before looking off. Sango looked at her both scared and weirded out.
Inuyasha soon stopped at the smell of someone coming and pulled out his sword. Isa looked at him weird and sniffed the air. All she could smell was a wolf pack. Sango sighed and stepped out of the way when a tornado made its way towards her. She knew it was for Kagome. Inuyasha appeared infront of Kagome when the tornado dissipated and revealed Kouga.
Isa stared at him slightly, her memory of a conversation with Kayko when she had returned to find her, when she was dating Naraku. She remembered Kayko talking about a man that looked just like him. She shrugged the thought away and turned her back. She was going to stay out of this little feud.
She heard the two men arguing over Kagome. She glared slightly at Inuyasha for protecting the girl but soon squashed the little green monster before looking off again. Sango walked up next to her, as did Miroku. Clearly annoyed with the argument. Kagome soon found her way into the middle of the other group away from Inuyasha and Kouga.
“Please hide me.” Kagome asked as she stayed on the other side of the group.
Inuyasha and Kouga soon stopped arguing when the realized Kagome was nowhere near by. They looked around before yelling at each other blaming the other for Kagome running off. The whole group, tired of the arguing turned and yelled. “SHUT UP!!”
Both demons jumped, Inuyasha's ears flattening against his skull for the loud noise. Inuyasha looked at the group to find Kagome among them. He looked off at a tree crossing his arms. Kouga looked at everyone confused
Everyone rolled their eyes and began walking away from the two annoying males. Inuyasha glared and ran after them. To him, this was his pack. They weren't going to leave him behind. Kouga glared at them before running back over to Kagome, stopping her in her tracks.
“Don't worry Kagome, I'll make sure Naraku dies and you never have to deal with him again.” Isa got between him and Kagome and shoved him on his ass.
“Dude, do you not realize she don't want you and besides you're in our way. Now take a hike dirt bag!!” Kouga looked at her in shock as she put an arm around Kagome's shoulder and started leading her down the dirt road. The wolf had finally gotten on her nerves. Inuyasha just chuckled and followed, as did everyone else from the little pack.
Kouga got up and glared at Isa. He soon heard Ginta and Hakkaku catching up to him. Kouga sighed and turned starting to run off. His tornado being the only thing that Ginta and Hakkaku could see.
Inuyasha kept quiet the rest of the trip till nightfall started coming over the landscape. Inuyasha and Miroku walked off, hoping to hunt down a nice big meal for the growing group. Shippo soon joined them, hoping they could teach him. Sango and Isa walked around the surrounding area near the campsite picking up random pieces of wood for the fire.
Kagome sat at camp, making a little rock wall that would keep the fire from setting the forest on fire. Kirara sat next to her mewing and chasing after little grasshoppers that got to close to her. Her two tails swished up and down as she slowly crawled along the ground after one of the annoying bugs. Kagome couldn't help but giggle at the act.
Sango and Isa walked up looking at her weird at her giggling. She just pointed towards Kirara as she started taking some of the wood in the girl's hands and placing them inside the rock circle. She pulled out her matches and set the wood aflame. Isa looked at her weird and sat next to her. She picked up the small box and looked over it.
“I know you said you weren't from our time but this is still oh so weird.” Kagome giggled as she started explaining the simple use for the match.
Isa was so intrigued by the new thing and when Kagome showed her how to light a match, Isa soon lighted her own match. She stared at the flame till it came close to her finger. She shook her hand and the light went out as she put her thumb in her mouth. Kagome and Sango giggled at Isa's face. Isa gave a playful glare at the two before she too started giggling. The men walked back with only a few rabbits in their hands.
As the food cooked Shippo gloated at how most of the rabbits caught were by him. Isa sat back watching the group. Her eyes lowered as she remembered how, 50 years ago, Kayko, Inuyasha and her use to have fun camping out a night. Laughing at all kinds of thing they did that day till her and Kayko were chosen to help guard the Shikon Jewel.
Isa was brought from her thoughts as Shippo walked over to her and handed her the first full cooked rabbit. She smiled at Shippo.
“You should eat first. You caught them and you're a growing boy.” Shippo smiled and pushed the rabbit in her hand. Isa smiled and reluctantly took it.
“Thanks small fry.” Shippo smiled and ran towards the fire and got his from Kagome. He blew on his food to cool it down a bit and began eating. It was till rather juicy, not cooked all the way, seeing as how he was a demon. Isa watched everyone eat as she too began to eat. It wasn't over cooked nor was it under cooked. It was defiantly nothing like Kayko's cooking but it was good all the same.
“I'm going to make sure the area is safe before we all turn in to sleep.” Said Inuyasha as he stood up and stretched. He began to walk off into the tree and disappeared. He made a big circle around the little campsite. Scaring off lesser demons before making his way back to the group. Kagome had her sleeping bag set up, Kirara had transformed as Sango began to curl up into her. Miroku had made himself comfortable against a tree. He looked out the corner of his eyes watching Isa jump into a tree and laying down on the branch.
Inuyasha sighed as he went to another tree and jumped in. He leaned up against the trunk as he looked up in the sky. Why had everything gone so wrong? He looked down at his clawed hands in his lap. If things hadn't gone so terribly wrong, Isa and him would have hopefully been mated. He pulled his legs up and put his hands in his sleeves across his chest and closed his eyes. His ears kept on high alert as he fell asleep.
