"INUYASHA!!!!!!!!!!"
Kagome's cry could be heard across the seven seas. Knowing she could not
break her position to see to her love, Kagome bit back sharp tears. She
could feel the anger rising in her. A foul taste of bile rose into the
back portion of her throat.
Naraku was laughing darkly at the sight of the fallen hanyou. He could not
contain the smile he was so desperately trying to force away.
"Now that he is out of the way....I shall pick you off one by one in no time.
No time at all. Starting with you....Monk....Oh..pity....you too are down.
No matter.....I shall allow the void to swallow you alive as you sleep."
His voice dripped with ice and hatred.
Kagome had stood at somepoint and was seen to be shaking violently from
all the miko energy coarsing through her and from Kikyou. Tears flowed
down her face and her lower lip bled lightly from her biting down so roughly.
When she could no longer feel anything but the steady beat of Naraku's heart,
Kagome pulled back the arrow as far as possible and let out a heart wrenching
scream before letting it fly.
Naraku barely had a moment to blink when the arrow hit the barrier surrounding
Kanna and the baby.
All that was heard was Naraku screaming " No!!!!" as the arrow pierced the
barrier and blew the baby and Kanna into nothingness.
As though someone had cut the strings from a puppet, Naraku fell to the
Earth, where he turned to dust and bones.
A cheer was heard from the small group, Kagome fell to her knees and she
crawled over to Inuyasha. He was lying in a large pool of his own blood and
he had yet to move.
" Inuyasha......No.....He's not breathing!!!!!!"
The rest of Kikyou's soul had drifted from her body and formed a spirit of her.
Even in death's death, she wanted Inuyasha for herself.
"No Kikyou! You can't have him....Inuyasha.....hear me....stay here...."
"No!!"
" Inuyasha.....PLEASE!" she cried over him, burying her face into his chest.
" I love you!"
