There was once a half-were wolf, all that he ever wanted was to be

accepted, to be loved. This however was not meant to be, his parents

had put a spell on him. If he finds a bride who loves him for who he

is then he will be made into either a full were wolf or a full human.

"This is such a stupid story, there's not even an end to this."

"Kagome, how could you say such a thing, this is such a heart

warming story," Kagome's Grandfather was saying.

"It would be even better if it was true, or if it had an ending of

anything."

"Yes, but that's where the mystery lies. Just listen to the rest of the

story."

"Fine," Kagome rolled her eyes.

Now, for centuries (he's half were wolf so he lives until he is killed

by someone) he looked for a bride, but he could not find a bride that

would love him for who he was. He found a helper along the way. A

lecherous monk, who helped him find women who he thinks he could

get to love him. Since the monk is helping him, the halfling

bestowed eternal life on him also. The monk found this one girl, but

they soon found out that she was an exterminator of demons and

such. Once their story was told she too helped them. Now, beware

for they are looking for kind young maidens to become the halflings

bride.

"Oh, Grandpa, you know that story isn't true."

"Now Kagome you can never be to careful."

"Whatever, Gramps, I'm going to bed, night."

"Goodnight Kagome, but I wish....."

She tuned him out there, and walked up the stairs and into her room.

She dressed into her pajamas and was soon ready for bed. She sat at

her window and just looked up at the moon for the longest time.

"I wish I could find true love, maybe I should find the half-were wolf

and see if we hit it off." She chuckled to herself and left to climb into

bed.

Little did she know that a pair of golden eyes followed her every

move.
