It's easier to go

Chapter 4The carnival

Disclaimer:Guys this is getting extremely old,I don't

own Inuyasha.

Kagome carried the little boy to her appartment.She opened

the door,put her bags on the couch and let her small passanger

down. When she looked at him though she gasped.He was

relly beaten up.

"Well,I'm Kagome.And I live here.So what's your name?"

The kid slowly looked up at her and smiled a little.

"I'm Shippou."the boy answered in quite voice.

"Well Shippou,let's get those wounds cleaned up and then

we'll see.OK with you?"

Wow he liked this girl a lot.Nobody had ever asked him if

he agreed or not to something.She just did.He nodded.

"Fine then."Kagome said ,pleased with him.He wasn't how she

thought.First she expected him to have a natural fear,but he

didn't show it,if he did.

Kagome led him to her bathroom and slowly they cleaned his

wounds.Now Kagome took a better look at him. He had green

eyes and soft pink lips.His nose was the cutest though,it was

small between his soft-pink cheeks.He still had a light cut on

his lip and one eye was still a little blue,but otherwise he was

fine.

"Well Shippou I want to ask you something.Do you want to stay?Don't worry I don't want you to answer right now,you

can stay as long as you want."Kagome told him.She wanted

him to feel free and not pressured by her or anyone.He should

be able to at least tell what he wanted,she would help with

the decision.

"Well I'd liked to,but I don't want to be a trouble."Shippou

was looking at the floor while saying this.

Kagome sighed,sat down on her couch,wrapped him in her arms

and sat him on her lap,so that he was facing her.She gently

put a finger under his chin and looked him in the eyes.

"Don't ever let anybody tell you that you are trouble.You are

Shippou and like everyone you have good and bad sides.But

you surely aren't trouble.Understand?"

Shippou had been looking at her all this time like she had gone

blue or something.All this time she was lying.I believe Kagome.

Why would she lie?I believe her and now that I know that,that

woman, had only lied,I definetely want to stay.

"Kagome"Shippou started in his pleading voice "I want to stay

with you."

Kagome nodded relieved,hugged him and then started to think about what he needed if he was going to stay.He needed clothes,not that she minded buying them,after all her grandmother had left her a big fortune,and when she said big,she meant big.

"Well OK with me Shippou,what if we go shopping for you first

and then go eat.We can do whatever you want after that.OK?"

Shippou,who had his head resting against her chest,nodded but

he didn't want her to spend her money on him.Kagome sighed

again and gently told him it was really nothing since she had

enough money to live at least three lives as king.

Shippou started to laugh at that,and that's when Kagome realised

how beautiful it was hearing someone laugh.

"OK then,let's go shopping!"

Sesshoumaru was sulking at home.His stepmother,asked him

what was wrong,not that she cared,she after all only cared for

her `precious Inu`,not that he minded.But really it wasn't fair.

He had learned everything himself,nobody had tought him how

to run a company,or yet alone create one.But still he did.He

was the only owner of big company,even if he still attended

school.His father hadn't helped.Hell he didn't even congratulate

him when he had won the prise of the `youngest and wealthiest businessman`,no he hadn't even cared.Maybe it was a little

bit his fault since he had refused to call him father after his

mother died,and he remarried.But still.Well,see if I care.

Slowly Sesshoumaru got up on his bed and changed into a

scarlet shirt,that showed his muscels pretty well.Someone was

definetly going to faint after seeing him .

Kagome had taken Shippou to every children shop she had seen.

No,dragged would be the better word.They bought five bags

full of clothes,and ate ice-cream,cake and pizza.They had a lot

of fun.Shippou told her about that woman,his mother.Apparently

she treated him even worse at home.At least now he is safe,

thought Kagome.On their way to the ice-cream parlor,they

heard several children talking about the carnival,so Kagome

decided to take Shippou as well.

This was extremely boring.Inuyasha and Kykio sucked at each

others face again,Sango was hitting Miroku,so yeah,boring.They

were currently at a overloaded carnival and Sesshoumaru really

had enough of the hitting,sucking and yelling,so he decided to

go find a less populated area,before he became deaf.He walked

on a litlle alley whid led him to a lake.There he sat on bench

and looked at the still water,when he suddenly noticed something

that made him explode on the inside.

Kagome watched as the little shy boy she had just met became

a spring of neverending joy and laughter.Shippou went on all

rides and ended up falling asleep in Kagomes arms,after feeling

a liitle sick because if one of the rides.Kagome took him to one

of the benches near the lake and sat him in her lap.She heard

someone moving and sitting down on a bench just like hers,but

other than that she didn't look up.

Sesshoumaru looked at her,feeling fire in his stomach.Calm down,she is just a girl after all.Now how to make her notice

me.Just then a couple of guys walked down this lonely alley,

and they were heading right for her.Sesshoumaru invardly growled.What was she doing to him?First she made him think

of her all day,and now even though he didn't even know her

name,he felt possesive about her .In that precise moment the

men,probably drunk,he thought,walked toward her.She wanted to

leave but one of them grabbed her hand and didnt't let go.

That's when he stoop up and moving quicker than the eye,he

was next to her . "Let her go."he ordered in his uasual icy voice.

Kagome was pretty spooked when three drunk men approached

her.She tried to go away but one grabbed her hand.Then she heard a ice-like voice teling them to let her go.Somehow she

didn't fear this voice like the men seemed to,no, for her it

seemed cold but still warm.

"Well what are you going to do about it lady?"one of them

asked Sesshoumaru and wanted to punch him.Kagome got out

of the way still carrying the sleeping Shippou.He was a extremely

deep sleaper.

Sesshoumaru dodged easily and kicked his opponent to the

Ground.The other two approached him,but he knocked them down

with great speed and agility.

Kagome suddenly noticed that the guy who saved her was the

same she had seen at the mall that day.She looked him over.

He had a scarlet shirt on which showed off his muscels and black

baggy pants.She was right he was taller than her,she just reached

his chest.His silver hair was tied in a low ponytail and his amber

eyes seemed to light up the entire place.

Sesshoumaru noticed again as every emotion she experienced

showed on her face.Fear,realization and then again,the one he liked

most,admiration.Slowly he looked down at her as well.He noticed

she was wearing black baggy pants,which hugged her round

hips and long legs perfectly.Beside him she was still small though.

She carried a sleeping child.Brother,definetly brother,he thought

to himself.Blue eyes,white creamy skin,and pink soft lips.How

would it be to touch them,taste them,feel them.Suddenly she smiled to him.A small smile which seamed to touch his very

heart.Shaking himself, he again resumed his cold mask.

"I'm Sesshoumaru Takagi.I'll walk you home considering

the night's events."

His voice was still icy,but Kagome knew it was only a faccade.

"I'm Kagome Higurashi and the extremely heavy sleaper is

Shippou,my brother."Well,I would want him to be.But still it's

a good excuse,considering he will stay with me.

"Come on,let's go .I'll take your bags."Sesshoumaru picked

her bags up and looked at her expectantly.

Again Kagome smiled and thanked him.

The whole way,they walked in silence.They both looked at

each other,out of the corner of their eyes when the other

wasn't looking.

When they reached Kagome's door she opened it and led

him in.A thought suddenly crossed her mind.I trust him.I don't

know why, but I do.

She took Shippou to her own bed,reminding herself she needed

to buy him a new bed.She alredy had a spare room.It just needed

decorating.

She remembered Sesshoumaru was still in her living-room so

she walked back to him.

OK,I seriously think writers are underestimated.Hell this chapter

is extremely long,and even though I don't think about what I

write I'm tired.Thanks for the great review's.JA
