It's easier to go

Chapter 29 Surprises 1

Well my story seems to be going towards a rather fast end, but my characters demand to have some more ahh, I think they called it `private time`, anyway here it is.

One week had passed since the incident, and everybody went on with their normal business. Kagome, Sango and Miroku were now going to school happyly since they got to watch Inuyasha run from Kykio every brake.

Sesshoumaru got back his companys and moved into a nice appartment taking Rin with him. The apartment was pretty close to Kagome's current home, so Shippou and Rin got to play a lot.

Kagome hadn't seen much of Sesshoumaru the entire time, but she knew that he first had to digest this news. It didn't bother her much that he hadn't asked for her presence , she knew he needed some time alone, she only hoped this time would finaly end.

Slowly taking the steps up to her last apartment Kagome thought about the day she had. The normal waking, having breakfast with her adopted son, she considered him that now, Kykio bashing at school, annoying teachers speaking to her, Sango hitting Miroku, breaks, Sango hitting Miroku, walking home, Sango hitting Miroku again,going shopping until it was seven, and now getting here.

This really should have been fun, but without Sesshoumaru it wasn't that much fun afterall.

Getting to her door she unlocked it and went in.

Shippou should be home at eight, he wanted to visit a friend, so she was alone.Or so she thought.

Going in she wanted to close the door when she noticed flower petals on the floor.

Not traditional red rose petals, no, these were a light purple color, one of her favourites.

Following the petals to the living room, she suddenly saw the only person she wished to see.

Sesshoumaru hated to do this to her ,but now he needed to be alone. Needed to clear things, to get everything on the right track again.

One week, it had taken one week to get back his companies, move out, take Rin, and find a very nice appartment. He wanted it to be big enough for a whole family, and he did find one which suited him very well.

It was near Kagome's appartment so he saw her once or twice but still, not everything was thought out. Rin was very happy though, she got to play with Shippou and Kagome a lot.

After this week though, after thinking about his father for a week, he realised what he should have reslised years ago.

His father was only a stranger.

Before he never truly hated, but he despised him, felt sick because of his mere presence, but now he only felt pitty for him.

Why was he never a father and husband, for him and his mother, but the perfect one for his new family?

Why did he fear his son so much he needed to deastroy him?

This was not a man, no, it was more of a fearful boy.

Sesshoumaru knew, that his mother and father married because of their parents, but his mother had loved him and he only brought her love to decay.

A man who had been the destruction of the only one who loved him, a man , who feared his own son of becoming better than himself, a man, who had forgotten who he was.

He was only worth pitty.

After realising this he decided to go back , to the only person he had sworn never to let down, never to let go.

Seeing him again, made her knees go weak.

Black baggy pants, a silver shirt showing his muscels, his perfect tall body. His hair cascading freely down his back, framing his soft pale skin, contrasting his full red lips and his glowing amber eyes.

Smiling at her he held out a hand and slowly she started walking towards him, knowing that he would come to her , although she didn't want to stay. She wanted to be in his arms again , feel him.

Beautiful, beautiful as ever. Even now. A black skirt ending under her knees with slits which almost reached

her mid thigh, showing her long legs, round hips and slim waist. Her liliac shirt hugged her chest, showing her full breasts. Ebony hair flew down her back, framed her milky skin, accentuating her cherry lips, lighting her marine eyes.

Taking her hand he drew her to him laying her hand gently around his neck, while the other was on his chest.

Enircling her in his arms once again, he looked deep into her eyes and lowered his lips on hers, giving her a chaste apolegtic kiss.

Drawing up, he hugged her to him again.

"I'm sorry I've been away for this long."

Smiling at him she didn't hear his sentence and asked instead.

"Where's Shippou."

Sesshoumaru faked a hurt face and went to the coach where he sat down, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I apologize and she asks where Shippou is.Shippou's at my house playing with Rin and her new nanny.

If you would turn you would notice I also made a extremely nice dinner, decorated everything with liliac and jasmine petals, and I apologized for my absence, with a sweet kiss as well.

But no, she asks where Shippou is." He said in a childish voice.

Turning around towards the room, she noticed the beautiful candle-light dinner he had prepared along with the beautiful flower petals.

Turning towards him again she went to him and sat in his lap. Still he ignored her. Cupping his ckeek with one of her hands she turned his face towards her.

"I should be really angry for this childishniss, but I'm sorry. I wanted to knew where Shippou was, to know when he would be back.

And I do love all this and I heard your apology, although there is no need for it." She told him in her melodious voice.

Still he looked in another direction.

Sighing Kagome hugged him to her and kissed his ear.

"I love you." She whispered.

Suddenly she felt his arms around her again and his warm lips on the skin of her neck.

Then she was looking onto the moving floor, or rather she realized he was taking her to one of the chairs beside her candle- light dinner.

Sitting down Sesshoumaru still held her in his lap and began to slowly give her little bites of food.

"You know I can do that alone." She said smiling.

"I suggest you shut unless you have something nice to say. And now eat." Sesshoumaru ordered icyly.

Smiling Kagome began to eat again.

Sesshoumaru and she ate in silence, but once he looked at her , he found her deeply asleep, while snuggling closer to him.

Smiling at her, he lifted her again and carried her to bed.

Well this wasn't what he had in mind, but hey who said it couldn't work tomorrow? She was tired, but she loved him and he loved her, and that is all that matters.
