Well I think this will be the forelast chapter, that means there's only one chapter to go! Well I'm not going to keep you, read on!

Locked away in the farthest corner of my soul

There is this secret I have never shown,

Bathed in darkness, surrounded by wounds,

It eats away my peace, plays horrid tunes.

Now it is gone, left me alone,

Giving back my sanity, letting me grow,

Peace I have obtained, darkness I have shattered,

Finally I realised it was my peace that mattered.

Waking up ,after a long deserved sleep , Kagome looked around her .

The first thing she saw were balcony doors flooded by golden light. The simple white curtains of the clear glass doors, swayed gently because of the soft wind breeses felt outside.

Now she realised she had never taken a good look at this ordinary show of nature. The sun was rising almost reaching mid hight, letting it's warm light chase away shadows which had ruled at night.

Why had she never noticed, never marveled at nature's true beauty?

Smiling she already knew her answer: she had none.

She was simply going to enjoy nature's beauty from now on.

"I see you like your new home." A voice suddenly echoed, interrupting her thoughts.

He had been here for two days, wondering when she would wake, and then , finaly, this morning he had seen her saphire eyes again.

She had smiled, smiled at a simple move of a curtain, and that alone had made him see she was over it. After he had met her, he had studied her for many times, wondering why whenever she wanted to smile she never did.

But now he knew she never smiled, because she had wanted to punish herself.Now, after seeing her smile only at this simple move, he was sure she was here again, over her past.

"I see you like your new home."he told her gently leaning against the door.

Turning around she looked at his handsome figure and smiled happyly.

"You do realise you are extremely possesive , right?

Making me move, without even telling me."she answered playfully.

Smiling , Sesshoumaru started to walk towards her bed, leaning down once he was there, locking her playfull and clear blue diamonds with his amber eyes.

Then leaning down even further, with each of his arms supporting his weight from beside her head, he captured her red lips in a sweet kiss.

"I missed you." He whispered burrying his head in the crock of her neck sending shiwers down her spine.

"And I you." She whispered back, tangling her hands in his hair , pulling his lips to hers once again.

"Are you sure about this?" Sesshoumaru asked quietly.

"Yes, I want to know why she did what she did.

My father afterall, only believed her words." Kagome answered.

"That is no excuse." Sesshoumaru told her bluntly.

Reaching out for his hand and squeezing it lightly she nodded

"I know."

Currently they were sitting at the police station, waiting for an officer to bring Kagome's mother to them.

Kagome had insisted on seeing her mother, she wanted to see her father as well but it seems as if he was already in a psychiatrical facility, in a section for extremely violent people so Sesshoumaru insisted on not seeing him, at least not now.

Slowly the door opened and a woman with black hair and grey eyes entered .She must have been fairly beautiful at her age, but now she just looked worn out, fatigued.

"My daughter." She whispered upon seeing Kagome.

"You have come to see me."

" I came to ask you some questions." Kagome replied, ignoring the `daughter` she received.

"Of course." Her mother answered sitting down eying Sesshoumaru curiously.

"He is very handsome Kagome, you chose well."she said.

"Why did you kill my brother?"

Looking at her strangely Kagome's mother waited until answering.

" He simply wouldn't stop crying, it was a mistake." She said slowly.

"Of course it was. Why did you blame it on me then?"

"Everyone simply saw you as me. You remember how each of them said you look exactly like me? Well my sweet you are exactly like me, after a while I got fed up with it. Everybody simply saw you, not me.

And then I made that mistake, when I came out I saw you and again I realised how much I wanted to have killed you not him so I simply fraimed you for it, getting lost of you in the process.

You are like me, so what I have done you would have done eventually." The woman simply shrugged.

Standing , holding Sesshoumaru's hand , Kagome looked down at the woman in front of her.

"I pitty you. I have run from everything in my life but I have finaly managed to stop, whereas you are still running .So you see, I'm not like you, for now I will never burry my past but will be proud of it, for it has made me, who I am now.

Goodbye."

Walking out of the police station Kagome turned to her love and hugged him.

"I'm proud of you." He whispered in her hair.

Pulling back she gazed into his deep eyes and smiled throughout tears.

"I'm finaly done with the past."

And I'm finaly done with this chapter! JA!
