Chapter 11

Rin's Party Part 3

She reached over to the counter and picked up the glass and pill. She looked at the pill a bit before plopping it into her mouth and washing it down with some water.

`Strange' she thought. `I didn't think the Advil pill looked like that.' She let a breath out as she finished her glass of water,

"Rin's in this room, she wasn't feeling to well." Sess answered. Kagome eyes got wide. "Rin's sick? On her birthday?" She quickly shoved Sess over and opened the door. But it wouldn't open. She tried again and again but the same thing happened, it wouldn't open. "Huh? Is something wrong with this door?" She asked to everyone. Sess looked at her. "The room is locked." Kagome froze when he heard Sess say the next words. "Rin had a headache so I don't think she would walk over to lock her door. And even if she tried, she would probably had not reached the door without falling over. With her conditions, I doubt she would want to move anyways."

"What the hell is going on here?" Kagome demanded.

"How am I supposed to know? I went to find Rin's parents to tell her she wasn't feeling well. I was also to grab her an Advil and a glass of cold water. But since I couldn't find her parents, I was going to tell her that." Sess took a breath. "But the door is locked as you can see." Kagome looked down, what in the seven hell was going on? "May be Sango is in there with her and she locked the door to keep Miroku out?" Kagome said. No one said anything for awhile. "May be." Sess answered back. He slammed on the door roughly. "SANGO? MIROKU? ARE YOU GUYS IN THERE???" He shouted. No other voices were heard. "Guess not he muttered.

"May be they left the door locked by accident?" Kagome suggested again. Sess nodded again. "You guys look for them while I go turn the music volume a bit lower and look for Rin's parents." Inu and Kag nodded and they both ran back down the stairs. The music was still loud but no as ear biting loud as before. It was livable.

They ran around the dancing people searching for Sango and Miroku. After what seemed like forever and they were still not found. Kagome and Inu ran back to the stairs to think about a plan first. "Running around like this isn't bringing us anyways Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled. "What should we do?" Inuyasha eye's narrowed. "Don't yell at me like its my fault!" Inuyasha growled back. He was slowing getting annoyed from all this. "I'm not yelling! I'm asking! There's a difference you know!!!" Kagome countered back. "What are we going to do??? While we waste time standing around here, Rin could be in serious trouble!!!"

"Don't you think I know that already?" Inuyasha spat. "What do you think we should do then if you're sooooo smart?" Inuyasha grumbled. Kagome glared at Inuyasha. "Ah for god sakes, talking with you isn't bringing us anyways. You looked near the doors and I'll look near the back." Inuyasha nodded and they both ran off to find Sango and Miroku.

Sango whipped her head around. She could have sworn she heard someone calling her name. Miroku saw her stop and asked what was wrong. Sango shook her head. "It's nothing. Come on let's keep going to the entrance. I want to talk to Kagome." Sango replied and continued moving forward. Miroku nodded and quickly followed. As they both continued their way through the dancing people. Someone was following behind the two.

Sango squeezed through the dancing people and sighed. This was a lot more tiring then she expected it to be. The place was so crowded it was making her very sweaty and hot just trying to move from one place to another. She moved to a spot where it didn't seem as crowed as it was everywhere else. She took a deep breath. "Goddamn it… where the heck is the entrance? It didn't seem so far away before." Just then, tray with drinks on it was brought into her view. Sango turned to see someone holding the tray. The person's face was covered with a mask but Sango could imagine her smiling. She happily took a drink and gulped it down. It felt so nice down her dry throat. It was such a cool drink and it tasted great! Sango grabbed another cup and drank it down quickly. There was this taste she couldn't describe. It tasted awful but it also tasted good. And the more she drank the better it tasted. "Rin sure knows good drinks to be served at this party." Sango said to herself. She grabbed another cup and gave her thanks to the waitress. Sango took a sip and saw Miroku walking her way. Which reminded her…. Wasn't she supposed to look for someone? Sango placed her hand on her cheek as she drank the last remain of the drink. She hiccupped a bit and thought for a moment. Who was she suppose to look for. She shook her head, she couldn't remember. Just then Miroku grabbed her arm and dragged her into the crowd. Sango looked at him before starting to walk herself. She stumbled a bit but she could still walk. She smiled mentally. `Now if only I can remember what I was supposed to be doing?' She thought as she followed the black haired man she guessed was her friend.

Inuyasha finally got to the front doors and saw people still walking in and Blank. (If you don't remember who he is, he's the guard of the party. Read chapter 9 if you still don't remember.) He groaned as more and more people walked in. `How many people did Rin fucking invite?' He said mentally and cursed when he didn't see Sango or Miroku there. He was about to leave when he spotted Miroku dragging Sango from the corner of his eye. He quickly ran towards them but when he got closer he saw something that he didn't except to see. Sango was being dragged by Miroku and her face was painted a reddish colour. She hiccupped and waved hi to Inuyasha. "What happened here?" Inuyasha asked as he watched Sango winked at one of the guys dancing with the music. Miroku shrugged. "I don't know, honestly I don't. We were looking for you and Kagome when we got separated. When I found her she was like this."

Sango looked up at the two guys. She recognized them both a bit, but she couldn't really remember who they were. But the person who was dragging her she thought was pretty hot.

"What's wrong with YOU two? I'm fine! Look!" She got up and twirled around only to fall back into Miroku arms. She hiccupped again and smiled and the two guys. "See! I'm fine!" Inuyasha shook his head. "Miroku follow me, we should tell Kagome about Sango." Miroku nodded and followed Inuyasha to the stairs where a waiting Kagome was standing.

Kagome smiled and walked up to them. "Great job Inuyasha you found th- OH MY GOSH!! What happened to Sango?" The girl in Miroku's arms looked up. "Huh? Am I Sango? What a nice name. I like it lots!" She replied smiling at Kagome. Kagome shook her head and lead them into an empty room where they laid Sango down. Inuyasha handed her something to drink but Sango refused. "No! I don't wanna drink that yucky stuff! I wanna drink that good tasting drink I had before!" She replied shoving the glass away after taking a sip. Inuyasha sighed and grabbed another glass. He uttered a sorry to Sango before jamming the glass to her mouth. Sango gasped and Inuyasha quickly poured the drink down her mouth when it was still opened. Sango coughed loudly and sputtered a, what the hell did you think you were doing? Inuyasha just laughed and sat down on a chair to listen to Kagome and Miroku talking.

"Get some rest Sango; it will do you some good." He said as he sat down onto a chair. Sango muttered something but quickly laid down onto the bed and wrapped herself with the blanket. Inuyasha listened to what Kagome was saying. She explained what had happened and asked if they locked the door. Miroku shook his head no. "We didn't even go upstairs. We were trapped in the big mob downstairs. You wouldn't believe how hard it was just to move a few centimeters!" Kagome laughed slightly but quickly stopped. Worried marred her pretty face. "Then… who locked Rin's room. And…" She looked over to Sango who was snoring peacefully. "Who gave Sango alcohol?" Miroku shrugged. "I don't know. I just know that Sango can't take a few sips, she can get drunk pretty easily." Inuyasha got up and started walking towards the door. "I'm going to look for Sess ok? Stay here and watch over Sango. They nodded and Inuyasha walked out closing the door as he left.

Inuyasha flipped open his cell phone and dialed his brother's number. After two rings he picked up.

"Hello?"

"Yo Sess, I think we have a problem. I found Sango and Miroku. She's drunk and Miroku said he didn't enter Rin's room. None of them even went upstairs." He heard Sess cursed and quickly hung up the phone. Inuyasha blinked before shutting off his phone too. `I wonder if he found her parents.' Inu thought. He started walked towards Rin's room when Sess came. "Did you find her parents Sess?" Inuyasha asked but received a shook from his brother's head. "They must have went out for an errand. They weren't home." Inuyasha looked back at Rin's door. "Shit… now what are we going to do?" Sess didn't reply and walked away from Rin's room. Inuyasha stared at his brother, trying to figure out what he was going to do. When he saw Sess run towards Rin's door Inuyasha quickly moved aside and Sess rammed into the door knocking it down. The alarm was heard replacing the sound of the music and it started ringing. Inuyasha looked downstairs to see most people starting to run towards the door in fear. Inu looked at his brother and Sess replied. "Her door had an alarm so when it's broken it goes off." Sess pressed a button near the door and the alarm went off. When they entered they saw something that they had hope wouldn't have happened. Inuyasha froze at the sight. On the ground near her bed laid Rin, skin pale and eyes closed. A bit of blood was seem dripping from her head.

Kagome tapped her foot on the ground and sighed. She looked at her friend laying on the bed asleep. Who could have done something like that? Or maybe the drinks Rin had served here had alcohol in it. Kagome shook her head. Rin wouldn't do something like that. They were underage. SHE was underage. <But then who do you suppose spiked the drinks then hm?> `I don't know, may be Sango drank something by mistake? I don't know! Why are you asking me?' Kagome though angrily. Just then the sound of an alarm came bursting out from the hallway and Sango jerked right up. "AHH!!! The monsters are attacking!!!" She screamed and hid herself under the blanket. Kagome and Miroku stood up covering their ears.

"WHAT THE HELL?" Miroku said. "IS THAT THE SOUND OF AN ALARM???" Kagome shrugged. "I DON'T KNOW!!! WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME?" The ring suddenly stopped and they dropped their hands. "I'm going to go see what happened." Kagome told Miroku and quickly handed out for the hallway. "Wait! I'll come too."

Kagome stopped and shook her head. "No. Stay here with Sango, the sound must have frighten her." Kagome stated and pointed to a shaking lump on the bed. Miroku nodded and went to Sango's aid while Kagome went to the next room.

"Shh… It's ok Sango, the alarm stopped. You can come out of the blankets now." Miroku whispered quietly to Sango. He placed one hand on her shoulder and Sango shook it away. "You don't scare me! You're trying to lure me out and then eat me right? Well, I'm not going to fall for THAT evil monster!!!" Miroku sighed. This was going to take awhile…

"R-Rin? Are you ok?" Sess managed to say as he quickly went to her side. When Rin heard someone's voice she quickly got up into a sitting position. She saw someone walking towards her and screamed. She quickly shuffled behind her and away from Sesshoumaru. "Get away from me!" she hollered as she moved from being touched. Sess blinked and starting walking towards her. Rin shrieked again and scamper back. "D-don't touch me! I heard the alarm you can't fool me. What do you want with me?" Rin tried to focus her mind. It was still a bit blurry and she began seeing things. The person who was walking towards her was holding a gun and was being followed by an army. The walls surrounding her seemed to slowly move inwards as making then space between her and the person closer. She shook her head rapidly as she stood up and walked towards the window. Sess saw this and quickly ran to her.

"STAY BACK!!! If any of you moves I'm-I'm going to jump!" She spat as she opened the window and a strong breeze blew in. Sess stopped in his tracks. What the hell was Rin doing? "Rin?" He asked before carefully taking a step towards her. "Stop! Don't move! I'm going to jump if you move any closer!" She snarled and climbed onto the window ledge holding the side as supporters. Any slight movement could cause her to fall. Sess froze as he stares at Rin in horror. What the fuck was she doing? Kagome entered the room only to shriek back from seeing what she saw. "OH MY GOSH!!! WHAT HAPPENED HER-mpphh?" Inuyasha had clamped her mouth shut and whispered to her in the ear what was happening. Kagome nodded and Inu let her mouth go. Rin head snapped at the door. She had heard someone enter it. Her mind was becoming hazier and more unfocused. Why are these people after her?

A breeze blew by as silence took over the room. Kagome didn't know what to do. Her friend was in a life death situation. One false move and she's a goner. She tried to keep the tears from falling but it was becoming very difficult. All of a sudden a loud ring rang out of no where and everyone plugged their ears. It was so loud that they couldn't hear themselves think. It stopped as sudden as it started. Rin jumped when she heard the sound as she landed back onto the ledge she lost her footing and slipped. She tried to grab something to keep her from falling but it was no use. Her screams filled room and quickly got Sess's attention. He snapped his head at the window and his heart almost stopped beating when he found that she was there. He quickly ran out to the window just to see her land onto the ground painfully. Sess's eyes went wide as she zoomed through Kagome and Inuyasha to run downstairs and outside to see Rin. Kagome and Inu blinked and looked at each other. Kagome shrieked when she saw Rin had disappeared and quickly ran to follow Sess. Inuyasha swiftly chased her.

Miroku looked up when he heard someone screaming. It awfully sounded a lot like… Rin's voice. His eyes got huge and he quickly ran out of the room to see Kagome and Inuyasha running downstairs. "HEY!!! Kagome! Inuyasha! What's going on?" He yelled at them but he didn't get an answer. He blinked and was going to go after then when he heard Sango waking up from her sleep. He couldn't leave her, what if she got worst because he wasn't there. Miroku shook his head and quickly ran back to check on Sango.

Kagome and Inuyasha quickly ran outside. Inu flipped open his cell and quickly dialed 911. Kagome had tears flowing freely from her eyes as she ran to find Rin. It had starting raining a lot but she didn't care. All she thought about right now was if Rin was ok. When they found her, she was being hugged by Sess. Kagome looked at the ground where Sess and Rin were. There was a pool of blood there. Kagome went paled. Pictures of her hometown flashed back to her. She tried to steady herself but failed. Her mind went blank and she slowly fell to her knees. Her skin came I contact with the cold, wet cement as she slowly fell flat on her stomach. Her eyes still opened as if she was in a trance but she couldn't see anything except for blood. Blood was covering everywhere. Everyone was dead and blood was splattered onto them. Everything seemed the same, just the same as her village. When Sonaki betrayed her. When he lied about him loving her. When he killed her, 4 years ago… The last thing she remember hearing was Inuyasha calling her name and everything went dark. The only colour she saw was…

Red…

Yes, sorry about another cliffhanger. Today I went to the dentist to get a filling and he froze my mouth. At first I couldn't feel n e thing but then when I got home, half of my mouth, tongue and right cheek was swollen. I couldn't talk properly or eat. Hack I couldn't even smile. I almost cried when I laughed and it hurt a lot. My mouth is still numbed like hell but I do feel a bit better. I have to take antibiotics too. 3 pills a day. Sucks doesn't it? Sigh… ill try to get the next chapter up ASAP. R & R plz!!! It will make a girl like me happy. Since I felt like shit after the dentist today… oh well. I'll heal soon. Hopefully… cya guys later. Ja.
