Smiling, Kagome looked over to her annoyed mate, whose back was rigidly straight in determination. Comforted by the images that danced behind her eyelids, the miko silently thanked whatever force reminded her of just why she loved her stubborn, baka hanyou.

 

 

 

Kagome currently sat on the dark wooden vanity table in their bedroom as Inuyasha pouted on the bed. The house they lived in was considerably larger than normal huts of this time. Inuyasha built it with the help of the incredibly-willing villagers from Keade's village. Their home was constructed in Inuyasha's forest, just a few minutes away from the rustle and bustle of the tiny town. Their now two and four year old children each had their own bedrooms, and their spacious living room easily held family and friends. The kitchen and elegantly decorated dining room wasn't too shabby either. It was built more like a modern home from the future era if anything.

 

 

Smiling to herself again, Kagome's eyes hazed in thought their children. The oldest being a boy, was as stubborn as his dad, but had a smile like his mother's. He had long silver hair, golden eyes, and cute furry triangle shaped ears perched on top of his head. Kyo was practically his father's miniature double. Their second child, a girl, had long black hair, blue-grey eyes like Kagome, and furry little black ears on top of her head. It was funny almost, the baby girl was Kagome's miniature double, with the addition of the blessedly adorable ears. Kagome couldn't help but wonder what their third child would look like, if they had a third child. Almost doing a mental eye roll, she thought, `of course we're going to have a third one. With the way he is, I'm surprised we don't have five kids by now.' Grimacing at the thought of going through five labour and births, Kagome's train of thought led her back to the current fight. With the issue of children, or rather how children come to be, the catapult of their fight shined brightly in her memory.

 

 

Having made arrangements with Sango and Miroku, who were now happily married with two children of their own at roughly the same age, Inuyasha and Kagome dropped Kyo and Saaya off at their house for a sleep over. It was a way to give each set of parents a break every now and then and to let the kids spend extra time with one another. Naturally, whenever the kids were gone each male turned into a sex-deprived maniac. Maniacs who practically pounced on their mates every chance they got.

 

 

As Kagome was giving their children goodbye kisses, Inuyasha walked over, picked Kagome up, threw her over his shoulder and yelled back a “Be good! See you in a couple days!” and rushed away. While exiting, Kagome could clearly hear Miroku's lecherous comments.

“So why are you in such a hurry to get home Inuyashaaa?”

“Remember to give Kagome a break once in a while!” and,

“Working on number three huh?!”

Inuyasha did indeed rush them home with plans of making their time together as worth while as possible. That was…until Kagome got mad.

 

 

They had a small fight, Kagome embarrassed that the whole world knew what they were going to do. `Not like they didn't know anyways!' Inuyasha thought bitterly. It had been a whole ten minutes of silence. Both mates sat on opposite sides of the room occasionally glaring at the other icily. This was not how either of them had wanted to spend their time together. After a while, Inuyasha noticed that Kagome entered a kind of daze, almost looking as though she was daydreaming. That innocent act irked Inuyasha and darkened his mood further. `Stupid wench…she isn't even glaring back anymore! Don't' we usually fight for fifteen minutes before one of us caves?!'

 

 

Inuyasha now even more annoyed than before, turned his back to Kagome. He crossed his arms defiantly and sat in his trade-mark pouting stance. Inuyasha was so busy arguing with himself in his head, debating on whether or not to apologize and whether or not it was his fault that he didn't even notice when she sneaked up behind him. Kagome plopped down beside him on her knees and leaned up to lightly kiss one of his ears. The furry appendage flicked at her touch as Inuyasha jumped slightly in surprise at her sudden action. Kagome sat down on her bottom behind him and wrapped her arms around his form. Quietly, she whispered,

 

“This isn't the best way to start off our alone time is it?” Inuyasha's tense form relaxed in her arms and he sighed. Ears drooping, he prepared his ego for an apology to his mate,

 

“No. Look, I'm-” he started.

 

“Shut up Inuyasha. I don't care. That was stupid. I guess we're still as stubborn as we were back then huh?” Kagome laughed lightly. Inuyasha growled back in a teasing manner before turning around to face her. He gave her a chaste kiss on the lips before smiling at her.

 

“Guess we better make up for lost time…” Kagome offered cheekily. Inuyasha's smirk returned full force and a fang poked out from his lip.

 

 

Suddenly without warning, Kagome pushed Inuyasha on his back and he landed with an “oomph”. He opened his mouth to protest her cruel treatment but stopped when Kagome raised her body over his own and sat on his middle, effectively straddling his hips. Kagome gave him a quick mischievous smirk before kissing him full on the mouth. Their lips crashed together and molded in a familiar dance as their tongues battled in the never ending fight for dominance. The miko playfully tugged at her lover's tender lips before biting it roughly. Inuyasha growled at the sharp action and took control of the heated kiss. Pulling his mate flush against his chest, the hanyou consumed her lips passionately. Kagome's quiet moans of appreciation tickled Inuyasha's swollen ones and sent wonderful shivers to the core of his being.

 

 

Chest heaving, Kagome broke apart gasping for air. Inuyasha's eyes were slightly glazed over and he too was breathing heavily. Kagome felt the beginnings of a large lump form beneath her and smiled, happy she still had that affect on him. The miko leaned back down and teased his jaw line as her hands snuck into the folds of his haori. She began to peel apart the two layers and left his chest exposed to the cool air. Trailing hot open mouthed kisses on his collarbone she motioned for him to shrug out of his haori. Inuyasha stopped Kagome for a mere second as he practically ripped his shirts off and threw them against a wall. Smiling, Kagome continued her way down his deliciously male body with light teasing butterfly kisses. Her lips barely ghosted his skin before pulling away, leaving Inuyasha yearning for more. The hanyou's arms tensed and outlined his amazing physique. Inuyasha's body burned in desire wherever Kagome's hot lips scorched his sensitive skin. She took it at a torturously slow pace as she began to descend down his chest. The chiseled muscles rippled beneath her lips as she suckled a line down the center. As she neared the ties that held his hakama up Kagome stopped her ministrations. Inuyasha's half lidded eyes snapped open suddenly at the loss of stimulation. He quickly looked up to Kagome's face, which looked almost amused at his reaction. The hanyou lifted himself up on his elbows and opened his mouth to plead when Kagome leaned down and gave him a slow and tender kiss. When she pulled back, he silently watched her every move. Keeping her devilish eyes trained on Inuyasha's molten ones, the miko sat up from her previous looming position. Her soft bottom sat comfortably above a stiff object hidden in her mate's hakama. Kagome opened the sash that held her kimono together, having outgrown her old school uniforms. She slowly peeled the top apart, exposing her upper body to his hungry gaze. She delicately slipped her arms out of the kimono as she remained planted above his hips. Having only taken half of the clothing off, her bottom was still seductively hidden from his view. Kagome shifted slowly to open the rest of her kimono, purposely rubbing against a now very aroused part of the hanyou's anatomy. Inuyasha watched dumbly, unable to reach out to touch his mate's flushed skin. Swallowing dry, he drank in the heavenly vision of his one and only.

 

 

Kagome could feel Inuyasha's impatient growls as she, ever so slowly, freed her entire body from clothing while innocently thrusting against his erection. Inuyasha's eyes widened in shock for a second before the spell activated. The arms he had leaning on either side of Kagome strained to hold him up, keeping himself from crushing her. Both groaned in pleasure, finally getting the completion they so badly needed. Inuyasha started a quick pace, unable to try and start with a slow, teasing pace. “I thought you wanted a break, tough guy.” Kagome softly laughed back. She turned around to face him and pushed her body flush against his. Kagome lifted her arms and wrapped them around his neck. She looked up at him dreamily and kissed him once on the lips.

 

“I'm so happy Inuyasha. This is what I've always wanted.” Inuyasha nipped at her nose playfully.

 

“I'm just happy you're as horny as me.” he smirked. Kagome hit him softly.

 

“It's your fault. You're the one who's always pouncing on me!” Kagome retorted.

 

“Oh yeah? Who started this?” he cocked an eyebrow. Kagome flushed, smiled, then answered,

 

“Make up sex is the best.” Inuyasha laughed lightly.

 

“We still have a couple days alone you know…” he told her.

 

“I'm not gonna get dinner tonight am I?” she teased.

 

“You are dinner, mate.”

 

“Hmm… sounds good for you. But what about me?” she challenged with a smile. He answered her with a tender kiss.

“Mommy! Daddy!” two children cried as Inuyasha and Kagome approached a hut in the village.

 

“Mommy! Kyo meanie!” the two year old managed.

 

“Saaya is bratty!” the four year old fought back. Inuyasha and Kagome couldn't help but smile. Kagome bent down to pick up her son, as Inuyasha threw their daughter up on his shoulders. Saaya gave a happy squeal and clapped her hands in appreciation.

“Were you two good for Auntie Sango and Uncle Miroku?” Kagome asked the four year old. Sango and Miroku exited their home and greeted the happy family of four.

 

“They were wonderful as usual.” Sango answered happily. Sango and Miroku's two children came running out, kicking up a dust storm behind them.

 

“So when do we get to take them for a sleepover?” Kagome asked Miroku.

 

“Whenever you want. Sango and I haven't had some quality…” he was cut off with a small hit to the head. Sango coughed and said,

 

“What he means is that the kids will be happy to stay over any time.”

 

“Yeah sure. That's what he meant.” Inuyasha chimed in.

 

“Inuyasha! Be good!” Kagome reprimanded.

 

“Keh. We all know what he has in mind.”

 

“Oh, and what were you and Lady Kagome doing during your mini break from the kids?” Miroku asked suggestively. Inuyasha smirked. Kagome elbowed him in the stomach with a slight blush on her cheeks. Inuyasha felt it was unnecessary and opened his mouth to fire.

 

“Hey! What was that for! I didn't do-!” Inuyasha shut up as Kagome placed a light kiss under his chin.

 

“Shut up.” she smiled at Inuyasha. Miroku and Sango laughed at the dazed expression on Inuyasha's face.

“Still works I'm presuming?” Miroku commented.

 

“Still gets him to do anything I want, if that's what you mean.” Kagome smiled back mischievously. The three laughed as the four children just looked at the adults in confusion. Thanking Sango and Miroku again, Kagome turned around and grasped Inuyasha's hand.

”Let's go home, Inuyasha.” She said as she intertwined their fingers.

 

“Eww! Mom and Dad are touching!” Kyo squealed. Saaya simply laughed at her older brother's disgusted expression.

 

“You won't think touching is gross when you grow up Kyo.” Inuyasha told his son.

 

“Yes I will! It'll always be gross! Girls have germs! Except for mommy. Mommy is…mommy so she doesn't have germs! Saaya has germs though! Cause she's a girl. So does Aika!” Kyo pressed on.

 

“Who's Aika?” Kagome whispered to Inuyasha.

 

“This village girl around Kyo's age. She chases him around whenever I take him into the village with me.” Inuyasha laughed.

 

“Aika has germs!” Kyo said with a disgruntled look on his face.

 

“We'll see…” Inuyasha told the boy as he ruffled his hair. “Come on lets go home!”

 

 

 

The four walked off into the forest, swinging Kyo between Kagome and Inuyasha. Saaya laughed from her position on her daddy's shoulders. The four ran into a small green caterpillar on the trail. Kyo down right refused to believe that, that ugly squiggly thing became a butterfly. Inuyasha was stressing to his son that it was true. The two boys argued for a few minutes and Kagome just watched, highly amused. Saaya seemed to find it funny at first, but quickly grew tired of it. After a couple more minutes, Saaya reached her head around and kissed her daddy on the cheek. Inuyasha stopped arguing with Kyo immediately and turned to look at his two year old. Saaya giggled delightedly.

 

“Oh no. Not you too! KAGOME! Did you teach her that?!” he growled. Kagome burst out in laughter.

 

“She just learns fast! Honestly! I didn't tell her to do that!” She continued to snigger.

 

 

Inuyasha pouted bitterly with a scowl etched on his face. Kagome smiled and tugged on his hand, pulling the hanyou home.
