Kagome went to the God Tree and sat under the tree in her favorite spot. Not far away, Inuyasha was sitting in a tree watching Kagome. He could smell Kagome when she started to head towards the God Tree. He decided to follow to make sure she wouldn't get hurt. Minutes went by before Inuyasha started to jump tree to tree then jumped down from the tree to land in front of Kagome. Kagome jumped in surprsie. Inuyasha stared at Kagome as Kagome stared at him. As Inuyasha went and sat by Kagome, she looked away from him. "It's starting to get dark. Are you getting cold?" Kagome could hear concern in his voice. She couldn't help but look at him and give him a smile. " I'm fine" was what she said. Just as she said those words, the wind blew and she started to shiver. Inuyasha took off his fire rat shirt and put it on Kagome. " Thanks." "Welcome." Both sat there in silence. Kagome was looking at the sky while Inuyasha looked at her. After a while, Inuyasha looked at the sky too. There were millions of stars in the sky, shining bright on the two people. " Why did you come out here?" Inuyasha looked towards Kagome as he answered. " To make sure nothing happened to you. What about you?" " After my bath I came here. I just needed some air." Both looked at each other again. "Kagome?" "What?" "Are you going to stay here?" Kagome just looked at him. " Maybe if I had a good reason to stay at one place I would." " You have your family in your time and a normal life while here you have Sango, Shippo, Miroku, Keade, me, and other friends." " I know all that already, Inuyasha." " We'll all miss you if you leave." I know that too." Inuyasha grabbed Kagome's hand. Kagome looked at him shocked. "Kagome, please don't go. I don't want you to leave. Please don't." Kagome was now even more shocked. Inuyasha was begging like a dog who wants a biskut. Kagome got up from her spot. "We should go back." Inuyasha lowered his head for awhile then lifted it back up. "Ok." Both went back to the hut in silence, but on the way there, Inuyasha grabbed Kagome's hand while she did the same thing. Inuyasha knew Kagome was trying not to get in the subject, but he wanted to know. He knew Kagome would tell him her answer, all he has to do is wait.At Keade's hut ~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~
"Will you bear my children?" WHACK! SLAP! THUMP! "STOP ASKING ALL THE GIRLS THAT! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME!!!" Sango was mad. Miroku had now asked at least five girls the same question. All ending the same way. " I'm sorry Sango. Old habits are hard to break. I promise to stop." That said, Miroku gave Sango a kiss on the lips. Sango was shocked by his words and actions. They had only kissed a couple of times. " I do love you." "I love you too" was Sango's response. Inuyasha and Kagome walked thourgh the forest just in time to see Sango and Miroku give another kiss.Please stop!" Kagome and Inuyasha had to laugh to what Shippohad just said. Sango and Miroku pulled away faster than you could blink it seemed like. Both were blushing like crazy. Inuyasha and Kagome went and stood by Sango and Miroku. Shippo jumped in Kagome's arms. "Hello Kagome." "Hi Shippo." Kagome snuggle in Shippo's fluff of hair. "Is everyone ready to eat dinner yet?" "Yes." Everyone said yes at the same time. Kagome started to laugh because of that. She started to head to Keade's. Kagome went in the hut and started to cook some ramen. Everyone came in the hut just in time for dinner. Kagome served dinner for everyone. Inuyasha sat by Kagome so he could try to hold her hand again. Everyone sat like they always did. Inuyasha ate dinner very fast. Kagome didn't eat that much again. This time she had a little more than last time. Same as the morning, Kagome sat like she did and Inuyasha held her hand. No one knew they were, unless you count Keade, Miroku, and Sango. No one payed attention though. Inuyasha and Kagome kept giving each other glances. Not long later it was time for bed. Inuyasha decided to sleep inside. Everyone went to thier futons and rooms and layed down. Miroku and Sango slept in the extra room while Keade slept in her room. Shippo, Kagome, and Inuyasha slept in the main room. When Inuyasha noticed that Kagome and Shippo were asleep, he snuck over by Kagome. He moved Shippo away from Kagome. Inuyasha stared at Kagome for a long time. He touched her cheek and when he did, she leaned into his touch. "Inuyasha" Kagome whispered. Some nights Inuyasha would hear her whispering his name and always wondered what she was dreaming. Inuyasha kept stroking Kagome's cheek while she kept leaning into his touch. Kagome opened her eyes slowly to see two gloden eyes staring at her. Inuyasha didn't stop what he was doing. Kagome kept leaning into his touch. Kagome started to go back to sleep. "Kagome?" "Yes Inuyasha?" "Can I sleep by you tonight?" "Why?" "Don't know." "Ok." With that said, Inuyasha laid on his side, back to chest. Kagome snuggled closer to him. Shippo somehow slept walked and layed in front of Kagome. Everyone that night went to sleep peacefully.
