< br> Inuyasha sniffed the area that he was in one last time before continuing his search.He was determined to find the others before Naraku did.He had to,or else......................

The thought was terrifying.Especially now that the group had been separated,thanks to Kagura's wind blades.Inuyasha had managed to escape,but he found himself alone with Naraku.It was actually one of his golums,sent to deliver one message.
"Better find your companions Inuyasha.Wouldn't like to think of what would happen if someone with a perverted mind found one of them first and decided to take out his frustrations out on them.Ku ku ku"
The golum lost his head,and so would Naraku if he had even touched one of his friends.Inuyasha knew what Naraku meant by that and had no doubt that Naraku would do it.The problem was though that there were three people to look for.Three humans that is,he really didn't think Naraku would do anything to Shippou or Kirara.Though Inuyasha wouldn't put it past Naraku to do such a horrible deed to a child,he knew that the young kitsune youkai would be with Kagome and she wouldn't let Naraku hurt him.
*I want to take his eyes out,just for looking at you.Yes,I do*
Kagome's scent reached Inuyasha's nose,causing the hanyou to get close to the ground,tracking the scent.As the scent got stronger,his eyes started scanning the area.They caught sight of a familiar green skirt and white top.Kagome was standing by a tree,Shippou in one arm,bow and arrow ready to shoot.He was right,she could take care of herself.But his worry didn't decrease when he saw her.There were still two other people out there,vulnerable to any sick and twisted thing Naraku could think off.
"Kagome!Where's Sango?" Inuyasha said as he reached her,making sure that he didn't startle her.She was dangerous with that bow and arrow when scared,and she was now.
"She went with Kirara to find Miroku.Why?"It seemed strange to Kagome that Inuyasha was so concerned about Sango.Usualy,Inuyasha could care less about what happened to the demon exterminator.Now he seemed worried about her.
"Which way did she go?"he gathered Kagome onto his back,along with Shippou.
"That way" Kagome pointed to the east,the direction of where she had seen the exterminator last.The hanyou sped off,almost forgetting the girl on his back and how she could easily fall off.His focus was completely on getting the whole group together,out of Naraku's grasp.Running through the darkness,he made out two figures.One was a giant cat with two tails,the other a human with long hair in a ponytail.It was Sango,she was kneeling down on a patch of moss.As he got closer,Inuyasha could see that she was crying and had blood on her arm.
//Oh no..........//
"Sango-chan!Whats wrong"Kagome sprang of Inuyasha's back and ran up to the exterminator.It seemed that Naraku had assaulted her,but something didn't seem right.Inuyasha was sure that something was missing.
//Wait!What about..........//
"Miroku"Sango snifled,holding up her bloodied hand.Inuyasha grabbed it,imediatly recognizing the blood's scent.It was Miroku's blood,not Sango's.
"There was so much blood"Sango sobbed,choaking on her own words "He was just laying there,he didn't wake up when I shook him.He was.........."Sango stopped on that last sentence,the word to painful for her to say.But Inuyasha knew what they were.
"Where is he?"Sango didn't seem to notice that Inuyasha was there until he spoke.She pointed to some bushes to her left,and Inuyasha ran through them.
*And I want to take his hands off,just for touching you.Yes,I do*
What he found was worse then any battlefield.Blood was splayed everywhere.On the ground,on the leafs,and on the single body laying before him.Miroku was laying,face-down,his hand tied behind his back with parts of his robe.He was naked,legs spread in a obscene way,blood between his thighs.He had been raped,in the most brutal manner possible.
*And I want to rip his heart out,just for hurting you.*
The closer he got,the more Inuyasha could smell the blood and Naraku.There was no doubt that the bastard had done it himself,torturing and violating the monk with all the malice in the world.Inuyasha growled,thoughts of vengeance taking over him.But as much as he wanted to find the sick bastard and kill him,Inuyasha knew that he had to get Miroku to safety.Kneeling down,he gentle turned the monk over.Like the rest of his body,Miroku's face was covered in blood.The only place that didn't have blood was where tears had washed it away.He was alive,which was either a good thing or a bad thing at the same time.Taking his red fire mice coat off and wrapping it around Miroku's naked form,Inuyasha picked the shattered monk up and started to walk back to the others.
//Naraku,you will pay.As soon as Miroku recovers,you will pay.Pay with your life//
