Chapter 2

"What when did the attack start?" Kagome asked.

"Not too long ago, but they have done a considerable amount of damage," though. The oldest of the three answered.

"Well I suggest that Sango, Miroku, and you see what the youkais motive is, but before you go you should check in with Rin, she just informed me about some new equipment for you three," said the youngest.

"Thanks Kaede Shippou. Come on let's hurry!" Kagome ordered. The three people walked out of the room and into the elevator to a reserved floor and walked into a room with a young woman stood, waiting.

"Kaede sent us up here, she said that you had some new equipment for us," Kagome said.

"Yes I'm well aware of that," the woman said while entering a code on a keypad.

"Now if you'll please look to the left, Sango your equipment is in that room. Miroku yours is in the room to the right, and Kagome yours is in the room behind me," Rin said.

"All right thanks, but aren't you going to join us. It will be a tad bit difficult without your help, Rin?" Kagome asked.

"Well duh what did you think the room in front of you is for, decoration?" she answered while walking in and getting her gear on. After about 5 minutes of changing Kagome, Rin, Sango, and Miroku walked out of their rooms in dark uniform type suits. Kagome had a huge crossbow and a quiver full of arrows on her back, a pistol at her hip, ammo across her waist, daggers at her calves embedded in her boots, thighs, waist, and upper arms, and then she had a sword at her left hip.

"I can see that you had Sango's hiraikotsu repaired," Kagome stated.

"Not only that but I had it reinforced with an indestructible but practically weightless metal," Rin said.

"Nice touch," Miroku commented.

"Thanks," Rin said.

Sango was in a skintight leather, full-body suit, as well as Kagome and Rin. She has hiraikotsu strapped to her back, a sword at her right hip, a rifle accompanied her giant boomerang on her back, she had daggers just like Kagome, ammo across her chest, she also had had several grenades, and the last thing was presented to her by Rin.

"And the last thing, here," Rin said as she handed Sango a 2-tailed kitten with orange eyes and white fur.

"What's the significance of a having a neko?" Sango asked.

"It's not just a neko, it's a neko youkai," Rin answered.

"But she's so small though. What do you think I should name her, Kagome?" Sango asked.

"Ummm… How about Kirara," Kagome suggested.

"That's great! Kirara it is, though she is still so small," Sango said.

"Yes, Sango, we get the point, she's small," Kagome snapped.

"Hello people I'm not finished here snap," with that Kirara transformed into a gigantic more ferocious version of her kitten form.

"Well I guess she ain't so little anymore," Sango said while turning to Miroku.

"I see you had some work done on your staff," Sango said.

"Yup if you look close enough you'll see that his staff is a sword," Rin said while grabbing his staff and pulling the top part out to reveal a long and sharp (a/n: and shiny) blade.

"Wow that's cool," Kagome and Sango exclaimed in unison.

"Wow thanks Rin you're the greatest!" Miroku stated excitedly.

Miroku was adorned in a black muscle shirt and a pair of loose fitting black jeans. Her had his staff in his hand; throwing daggers were in the same places as the women. He also had his kazzana, he also had a shotgun on his back. Rin had a suit like Kagome and Sango and a combination of all three of the others.

"Now that we're all ready let's go kick some youkai ass!" Kagome exclaimed

"All right," they all agreed. With that said they left to go kill off the youkais.
