The Wolf Girl's Home Is Destroyed

A giant wolf with many others behind him dodged from flying arrows. The people that shot the arrow recharged and threw some more. Soon everything was over.

Moro ran towards her home with Kagome riding on her back. When they got there all they saw was their family killed. Kagome got off of Moro and went over to the leader of the pack. He was still breathing. She put down her spear and knelt down next to him looking him over and taking out a arrow that was going through his stomach.

"Papa! What has happened? Who did this?" Kagome started to cry hugging the wolf. Suddenly he spoke.

"My dear Kagome. You must not try to undo what has already been done. It was Kikyo and her warriors *cough *."

"Stop you mustn't talk. Save your energy."

"I love you Kagome. Remember that always." With the last few words the wolf died.

"Noooooo!" Kagome yelled into the sky. Kagome wiped the tears from her eyes and walked over to Moro who had her head vowed.

"Let's go." Kagome told her. Moro ran off towards the direction of the village who had done this to her family.

Meanwhile at the village…

"Lady Kikyo."

" What happened?"

"Did we win?"

"You destroyed her home?"

"Was she there?"

"Yes we did and no she wasn't there. But lets forget about that and have ourselves a feast why don't we?" Kikyo put down her bow and arrows and walked over to the banquet hut. They all sat around the small tables that were put together and began to eat. After the feast was over everyone went to his or her hut to sleep, all except for Kikyo. She walked over to the front gate to do her watch hours.

Kikyo squinted her eyes as she saw a fire-cat coming towards the village. She prepared her bow and arrow as the cat seemed to stop and a person jumped off of it. The cat turned into a small kitten and then jumped onto its owner's shoulder.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Kikyo aimed the arrow at the person's heart.

"I am Inu Yasha. I come from far and I was wondering if I could find shelter here?"

Kikyo didn't respond instead she just opened the gate. When the man stepped inside she noticed the he had two furry little triangular ears at the top of his head.

"You're not human. What are you?" Kikyo prepared her bow again aiming it at the same spot she did before.

"I am a hanyou. Half human, half demon. I do not wish you any harm just a place to stay for the night if you please." Inu Yasha pet his cat-like companion. He never really needed her to travel but she at least kept him company ever since he was a kid.

"You may stay but as soon as the sun rises you must leave. I cannot afford to let my people see you here." Kikyo led him in.

"Are you hungry?" Kikyo asked wondering if this stranger had eaten anything at all.

"No I am not thank you." Inu Yasha said as he followed her to a vacant hut next to the gate so that when it became morning he could leave rapidly. Kikyo left him and Inu Yasha prepared himself for what he called sleep. Noting that his traveling companion had already fallen asleep he relaxed a bit and closed his eyes. Soon he heard footsteps and voices. They appeared to be little kid footsteps. He got up from his spot and stuck his head out of the hut entrance. What he saw left him in surprise. A little fox kit with orange hair walked over to one of the larger huts. The kit walked in not noticing that he was being followed by a very curious hanyou. Inu Yasha put his ear to the wall and listened to the conversation taking place inside.

"What brings you here Shippo? You know that you are not allowed in this village." Kikyo told the kit.

"Yes I know that but I had to ask you why did you destroy that girls home? What has she done to you?" Shippo was asking some questions that left the hanyou listening outside surprised.

"For your information the girl destroyed part of our village along with some of my good men and women so it was obvious that something had to be done. But she lucked out. She was not there. The gods decided to spare her and now she and her wolf demon Moro are the only ones of her pack that are alive and running about. One of these days I will see to it myself that I kill her even if it kills me with her." Kikyo got up and left the hut. Shippo followed her and left the hut as well.

"Do not come here again do you hear me or I will have your mother as well. Just as I did your father. You don't want that now do you?" Kikyo watched as the kit nodded and left through the front gate. Kikyo walked back to her hut only to find Inu Yasha sitting in the spot that Shippo had just vacated.

"Why are you here?" Kikyo asked as she sat at her previous spot.

"What were you two talking about? What girl?" Inu Yasha asked as he never took his eyes off of her.

Im sorry guys but I have to leave it off here. But don't worry the next chapter is coming really soon. And for all of you who are reading my other story thank you for reviewing and the next chapter will be out soon I just had to write this down cuz its been bugging me plus I have been having dreams about it and I think that's how im going to write out of my dreams.
