Hello fans!! This is my second fanfic and I am so excited about it. I will try to update it every Wednesday or maybe every weekend so check once a week. And I would appreciate bunches of reviews from my readers. This isn't a sequel to any thing just an original fic. So I hope you guys like it!!

Chapter 1:My name is Kayome Higarashi

~~~~~~Kayome's P.O.V.~~~~~~~~~~

Hello my name is Kayome (Kay-yo-me) Higarashi. I am 15 and turning 16 in three days. My mom died when I was only a baby and I now live with my uncle Souta. I go to the high school and have lived here at higarashi shrine since I was born.

~~~~~~~~~Normal P.O.V.~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Kayome! Hurry up!!" yelled Hotaru. "I'm coming I'm coming." Kayome yelled back. "Geez you take a long time." Teased Kayome's best friend. "Shut up." Replied the young girl, smiling.

Kayome had ebony hair that hung down a little past her butt. Her eyes were an intense blue and she had light tan creamy skin.

"Bye uncle Souta." She called out shutting the door behind her. "Kayome, can you believe it? Your turning 16. What do you think Souta will get you?" (And yes Sora is a boy's name.) Kayome smiled and blushed slightly.

"He said it was really special." She replied. "Wow you must be the luckiest girl in the school. To have boyfriend like Sora I mean." Kayome looked at her friend and thought about it for a minute. "Ya I guess your right. He is pretty cool." "Pretty cool?!?! What are you taking about?!?! He's popular, nice, he's got a great personality, and he is sooooo totally fine!!" said Hotaru with a huge grin on her face.

They continued talking till they got school. Then Sora walked up to the two girls.

"Hey Kayome." "Hi Sora." She replied to her boy friend, leaning over and giving him a kiss. "Hey we have to talk at your party ok?" he said. "Ya of course."

The days pasted by and now it was time for Kayome's sweet 16. every thing was going to be perfect.

So I hope you guys liked the first chapter and if you didn't don't worry it will ghet way better. So look for my next chapter next week around Wednesday if I get enough reviews so start em up!! Thanx!!
