Hey guys sorry it's been so long since my last update. The holidays you know? So umm here's the next chapter. Hope you all like it.

Oh and by the way in chapter two there is a typing error. It says her sandals gave her a two-foot lift. It was supposed to be a two-inch lift. Sorry about that.

Any ways on with the fic.

Chapter 4: Inuyasha the half demon

Kaede was hurriedly trying to get the antidote into the girls system. Putting a pasty substance on the wound and pouring a warm liquid down her throat.

`Who was that? It looked so much like Kagome. It was like a dream come true when I saw her. For weeks I have been dreaming about her.' Inuyasha was sitting in a tree, lost in his thoughts. `I miss you Kagome. Why did it happen to you?' a single tear rolled down his cheek.

Sango and Miroku were staring at him, also talking about the girl.

"Miroku?" "You wondering about her too?" he asked looking up at Inuyasha. "She looked so much like Kagome. Be the style of her clothes to. I mean only Kagome ever wore skirts that short." "Yes I know. It seems like she is from the same time as Kagome but… that's impossible. Only Kagome and Inuyasha can get thru the well. She would have had to have the shikon no tama, that's the only Kagome could get thru." "But Kagome banished it when she died." Said Sango, a questioning look on her face.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flash back~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kagome lay on her back, blood seeping from the wound in her side. Her head rested on her lover's legs, the shikon no tama in her hands.

"Its over Inuyasha. Naraku is… finally dead. And your curse is lifted Miroku. Now Sango and Kouga's comrades are… revenged. Kikyo, the shikon no tama is not yours to protect…I am giving it to Inuyasha, so that he may become whatever he wants."

She lifted a shaky hand to him and he closed her fingers and put his hand on hers.

"Kagome, it's yours and yours alone do what you want with it.

Kagome smiled and a pink light glowed from her hand.

"Shippo please take… care of your self. I love you…I love you all…."

Her words faded and the last breath was exhaled. Her hand fell to the ground and her head lulled to the side.

"KAGOME…."

Kaede walked slowly out of her and the gang rose to meet her.

"Will she be ok?" asked Shippo.

"I have done all that I can for her. It will all depend on her now."

The all sat down and Shippo and Kilala got Kaede a cup of cold water.

Kikyo sat in the heart of the forest, thinking to herself.

`How could he still feel that strongly for that wench Kagome? He is with me now. She has been dead for fifteen years.'

"But did he not sulk over you after 50 years, even after he thought you betrayed him?" asked a cold hollow voice.

"Who is there, show your self!"

"All in good time fair priestess."

Kayome slowly opened her eyes and looked at the space she could see without getting up.

Hunger had finally wakened her.

She sat up slowly and looked at the clothes she was wearing which happened to be her bra and underwear.

The flap opened and in walked a boy. She quickly pulled the covers over herself and stared wide eyed at the boy. He looked up from stoking the fire smiled.

"Your up! I didn't think you'd ever wake up. Kaede she's up."

An old woman walked in and looked at Kayome.

"Hello child. My name is Kaede and this is my good friend Shippo. The others are out gather food but you can meet them later."

"Uhh… my name is Kayome. Were are my clothes?"

Kaede laughed and apologized. "I'm sorry child I forgot. Here put this on. Unfortunately your clothes are stained with blood. But like I said put this on, it should fit. Then if you want to Shippo will gladly show you around the village."

Kayome nodded and the two left her to change.

`What a weird way to dress.' Kayome thought to herself as she stepped out of the hut.

Shippo ran up to her and grabbed her hand. "Are you ready to go?" he asked. She smiled down at him and nodded.

"Good lets go."

He took her to the field were she got to meet Kilala.

`Hello. ` Kayome looked around and tried to find were the voice was coming from.

`Down here. ` She looked at the small two tailed cat in astonishment. "He-hello."

`My name is Kilala. I think you are the only one that can hear me.` "you mean no one else can talk to you?" `that's right. You have a special gift Kayome. I could sense your power when you first came here.`

"I'll be right back Kayome." "Ok Shippo."

`Come on. I want to see some thing.` Kilala walked to the edge of the forest and sat on the stump of a log. `call that bird to you.` she said looking at a small blue bird.

"Come here birdy." She said holding out a hand.

`No with your mind. Communicate with your mind.` "Uh ok."

`Come here' the bird came gracefully fluttering down and landed gently on her finger. `Good now try calling something else.`

Within minutes animals of all sorts surrounded the pair.

Shippo led Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku and kikyo to the place were Kilala and Kayome were sitting.

"You have quit a gift Kayome."

Kayome bolted up and a pair of foxes jumped in front of her and growled at the group.

Kayome laid a gentle hand on each of them and they sat down by her legs.

"Wow I didn't know you could do that." Said Shippo in an astonished voice.

"Ya me neither," said Kayome. "My name is Miroku." Said the monk stepping up to shake her hand.

She took it then Sango introduced herself.

"My name is Inuyasha. And this is kikyo." "Hello."

"Can I ask you some thing?" said Kayome slowly inching her way toward him.

"What?" "Can I touch your ears?"

He sighed and rolled his eyes then bent his head down and let her massage them. He was soothed by her touch and his sensitive ears were not hurt, for once. Kikyo couldn't even touch his ears with out hurting them.

The softness left his ears slowly as Kayome put her hand down.

"Why do you have ears like that?" "He looked at her and smiled.

"I am a demon but I am only half demon."

"oh I see." "I was going to turn from half demon to a full demon but a close friend talked me out it. She was very close to me." "What was her name?"

He smiled and answered. "Kagome."

Kayome's eyes went wide and her heart skipped a beat. "That's not possible."

"What?"
"Kagome was my mother's name…."

Hahaha!! Hope you guys liked that chapter. It was nice and long for you. But for making me write so much I have decided to punish you all with a cliffhanger…again.
