:Kagome's Time:
“Kagome-chan!” Three voices chimed as they rang the doorbell, “Let's go!”

“Coming!” I opened the door and my friends eyes popped out when they saw what normally innocent me was wearing.

I had on a tight hugging tank-top that showed her entire stomach and had two inch straps on her sholders; fish net gloves with a what looked like a belt to keep the gloves up and REALLY dark purple nail polish. I also had on tight black leather pants with a black belt like like her gloves and black eyeshadow and lipstick. All in all, I looked punk.

“Ready to go guys?” I said casually. Until I saw the look on my friend's faces, “Uh… Guys?”

When they broke out of there shock Eri said, “K-Kagome? What are you doing in those clothes?”

“W-we didn't know you had anything like that even in your closet!” Yuka shrieked.

“I like it!” Ayumi said.

“Ayumi!” Eri and Yuka shrieked. (They do that a lot huh?)

“What? She needed a new change!” Ayumi defended.

“She's right guys. Let's get going.” I stated as she walked across the yard.

“Bye Kagome, dear!” Her mother said, “I love you! Don't do something you would regret, AND USE PROTECTION!”

“Don't worry mom! You know me better than that!” (Boy, I want a mom like that… . -.-)

“O.k, dear!”

As the three-some cached up with me, Ayumi was first to speak up. “Not that I love the outfit Kag-chan, but what made you change?”

“My life is lost; My love is gone.” I stated simply. (Ooo! I like tat! -grins-)

“Is it because of you two-timing, ob-” Eri began.

“Shut it, Eri.” I hissed, “Even if I told you all those things, he was the guy that you could depend on, the guy that could change your life.”

“He sure changed you life Kagome! You at what you're wearing!” Eri said, trying to get something into her punk-like friend, but it just made me even angrier.

“Eri!” I screeched and turned around to face the three-some. “Ayumi, Yuka you better listen, too!” When I was satisfied by the look on there faces I began, “You have no idea what it is like to go from day to day trying to stay alive! I have seen death, afterlife, whatever you call it, it isn't pretty! InuYasha-” She could see that Eri was trying to speak, but cut her off, “Yes, Eri, InuYasha is my mysterious boyfriend. HE saved my like so many times I can't count, and just because of a stupid argument I can never see him again! I loved him Eri! I loved him, and it's my fault I will never see him again!” With that my knees collapsed and I was crying into my hands.

(Info; Kagome's friends don't know about the Feudal Era, they believe that she had been sick those many times, so to them now it looks like they think that she almost died a lot of times because of her diseases, and InuYasha helped her through all the rough times, when nobody else could, kay? Not to mention that she loved him of course…)

“Kagome-chan!” Ayumi screeched as she ran to me pulling me into a hug. Just as Yuka broke out of shock she too; to comfort her distressed friend. Eri just stood there like a deer in the headlights. Until I stopped crying and broke down into little sobs, “Now you know, you guys. Why I feel this way, the only person in my life that understood me is somewhere I can't reach to and might DIE!” Eri stood up and walked over to the sobbing me holding onto Ayumi with Yuka and Ayumi hugging me.

“Kagome,” Eri began, “I'm so sorry Kagome!” She piled up with her friends, hugging me, “I-I never knew, I'm sorry!”

I sniffed and broke out of her friends embrace, gently. “It's o.k. Eri-chan. You didn't know.” I looked at Ayumi and Yuka, “Thanks guy for helping me out there.” I wiped her tears and said, “Well, let's go everybody!” The three-some got up and walked with me to the club.

As we reached the `Moonlight Club' everybody gave the attendant there fake IDs and paid a twenty dollars amount each.

As we walked into the club, I complained, “That was a lot of money!”

“Ya,” they agreed, “but that's what is caused to get into a club.”

“At least we cold get in.” I said dryly. They where 16, but with our fake IDs we could go in.

“Kagome! Let's go and get a table!” Ayumi yelled over the music, Eri and Yuka where whisked off with there dates. (Actually I don't like those two so they will be gone for the rest of the story…)

Once they got to a free table, someone walked up to Kagome behind her back and taped her shoulder. “Higurashi?” Kagome turned around to see that it was Hojou!

“OH! Hi, Hojou!” Kagome said with a fake smile droping the '-kun'

“K-Kagome c-c-can-” He slurred his words, “y-you dance w-with me?” He reeked of alcohol, too. (As you can tell, I don't like Hobo- I mean Hojou either…)

“Hojou-” I looked over to Ayumi for help, and she saw it.

“Sorry Hojou, she can't she has to- to” Then she heard the announcer, `Will everybody who wants to sing Karaoke tonight line up by the stage, this is a last call.'

“She has to sing!” Ayumi said as she grabbed my hand and ran over to the line of karaoke participants, which was very little.

“Aymui-chan, I thank you for helping me but, I CAN'T SING!" I screeched.

“Oh, you'll be fine, Kagome-chan.” (I'm getting tired to putting all those -chan's…)

'Last in line please!' The announcer said. “Kagome you're up!” Ayumi said as she pushed me up on stage.

`State your name, what song you're going to play and wait till the music comes on.' The announcer said in a bored monotone.

I took a beep breath and said, “My name is Kagome, and this is Nobody's home by Avril Lavigne.” As the music came on I sang with full emotion,

“I couldn't tell you why she felt that way,
She felt it everyday.
And I couldn't help her,
I just watched her make the same mistakes again.

What's wrong, what's wrong now?
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs, where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.

Open your eyes and look outside, find the reasons why.
You've been rejected, and now you can't find what you left behind.
Be strong, be strong now.
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs, where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.

Her feelings she hides.
Her dreams she can't find.
She's losing her mind.
She's fallen behind.
She can't find her place.
She's losing her faith.
She's fallen from grace.
She's all over the place.

Yeah, oh
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.
She's lost inside, lost inside...oh oh
She's lost inside, lost inside...oh oh yeah.”

When I was finished the whole club cheered, I could hear cat-calls, phone numbers, and the announcer speaking, `Well, it looks like we found our winner! You get a free pass to the club for two months! Congratulations!'

I hopped off the stage as Ayumi, Eri, and Yuka clobbered me.

“That was amazing!” Yuka screamed.

“You rocked Kagome-chan!” Ayumi screamed as well.

“Where did you get the guts to do that?” Eri asked.

I was laughing the entire time. “Ayumi helped me get rid of Hojou, and pushed me up onto stage!”

“Ayumi!” Eri said, “Why did you get rid of Hojou?”

“Cuz he reeked of alcohol and wanted to dance with Kagome.” Ayumi said casually.

“What!” Eri screeched and started running in a direction calling, “Hojou-kun! Hojou-kun!”

“I better get Eri,” Yuka sighed, “He was her date.” She explained as she walked away. “See you guys later!”

“Bye!” Both Aymui and I said, waving.

“So Kagome? Ready to go?” Aymui asked.

“Ya, I'm tired!” I said with a yawn.

“Kagome?” A voice said behind my back, I turned around to see a boy about my age with blue eyes and red hair with a black muscle shirt and blue jean pants.

“My name is Connor Kokuen, here's your pass to come here for two months for free!”

“Thanks!” I said as I took the card.

“See you around!” He said as he walked off.

“Wow, Kagome that guy was cute.” Ayumi said nudging me with her elbow.

“Ayumi,” I wined, “I thought you understood that I'm not looking for a boyfriend.”

“Oh, I know!” Ayumi said with a smile, “You could introduce me!” We both laughed, as we started walking toward the door I meet A LOT of people ho were asking for my number, and ect… I, of course, pushed them away and keep walking; when we where outside Ayumi was first to speak up, “Boy! That was hard to get out of there!”

“Ya,” I said with a sigh, “I don't know if I'm going back there…”

“You have to! You got a free pass!” Ayumi reminded me.

“Oh, ya… I forgot…” When we got to my house I said `Bye' to Ayumi and walked to my room to get along nights rest.
