A/N: I don't own Inuyasha, but I do enjoy killing him...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Inuyasha opened his eyes slowly and looked around in the complete darkness. He sighed. 'Shit!' But, it was for Kagome. Life wasn't worth living if she wasn't there living it with him.
"Inuyasha? So soon?" A deep voice laughed.
"Oh, shut up!" the hanyou growled, flexing his claws in the complete darkness.
"Fine, fine..." the voice took a deep breath.
"Just take me to hell and get it over with!"
"Inuyasha, you misunderstood," the man said, now in a more serious voice. "The reason I said you would be almost insured passage to hell next time you were here was because I thought you'd screw it up this time."
"Will you stop with the insults already and get it over with?"
"Inuyasha you're not listening..."
"And you're not talking!"
"You're not going to hell."
"I'm listening." Inuyasha started a low growl. Wherever he was going, it wasn't where he wanted to be.
"We're sending you to heaven," the man said slowly, as if picking his words carefully.
"Keh."
"I was able to make a solid case that you should be sent somewhere beside where you would be unhappy," the man explained. "You see, even heaven can't make everyone happy. You are one of those exceptions..."
"You're making a hell of a lot of sence, you know that?"
"...Kagome's your heaven." The man stopped and waited for his words to soak in. "We're sending you back to her. The only place you're happy is in her arms, which is where you shall stay for the rest of eternity."
Inuyasha opened his eyes and looked around.
"Oh, Inuyasha! I'm so sorry!" he felt Kagome pull him closer, she was crying, hugging him to her. "I let you jump into trouble, knowing it wasn't safe. It's all my fault." Her grip tightened around his shoulders and she buried her face in his chest, sobbing violently. She was too busy to notice that his arm was moving. She spoke between sobs, apologizing over and over. "Inuyasha... I'm...sorry...eep!" Kagome froze as she felt herself being carried high into the air by strong arms.
"Stop crying!" She looked up through teary eyes at the twice dead hanyou and immediately did as she was told. "That's a good girl," he smiled, nuzzling her neck gently before carrying her, bridal style, out of the dark alley.
"Inuyasha? How?" She choked back a sob.
"I went to heaven...didn't like it. It didn't feel like home." He smiled and looked down at her. "They said I can stay here for as long as I want," He jumped high into the air and landed lightly on the roof above.
"Hm...then what does home feel like, Inuyasha?" She asked, her eyes glazed slightly. He stopped as they reached the next roof and set her down on her feet.
"It feels like this..." he growled softly, his eyes closed as their lips touched...
A/N: I thought it was a good ending. I'm sorry. I just can't continue. I'm the master of short fics and I just can't add to this one. I can possibly write an epilogue, but other than that....
