InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Kagome's Kidnapped! ❯ Disappearing ( Chapter 6 )

-“NO!” Kagome screamed at the top of her lungs and the tainted shard popped out of her neck. “Inuyasha!” she cried as she watched her sacred arrow pierce through his kimono top and into his chest.

 

-“Kagome...” he breathed out before falling to the ground.

 

-“No, Inuyasha!” Kagome cried and ran to his side. She fell to her knees and touched his cheek with her burned hand. Inuyasha smiled at her weakly.

 

-“I'm so glad you're okay Kagome.” he said in a loud whisper.

 

-“Are you going to be alright Inuyasha?” Kagome asked worriedly. Little did she know that her miko powers where getting transferred to him through her hand and were slowly healing his wound.

 

-“I'll be fine.” Inuyasha said and slowly sat up. He grabbed the arrow and yanked it out of his chest. He handed it to Kagome. “You might need it. We're not out of here yet.”

 

Kagome nodded and helped him stand up. He retrieved his Tetsusaiga and they stood in the middle of the room on the lookout for Naraku.

 

-“Looking for me?” Kagome and Inuyasha quickly turned towards the voice to see Naraku standing not far from them. “Don't think you're going to get out of here so easily. I'm not done with either of you yet.” he said and disappeared. Kagome's eyes widened and Naraku reappeared right in front of her.

 

-“Kagome!” Inuyasha exclaimed but he was too late.

 

Naraku drew a knife dripping with a bright green liquid out of his baboon pelt and stabbed Kagome in the stomach.

 

Inuyasha was making a move to chop Naraku's head off with a swing of his Tetsusaiga, but Naraku disappeared just before his sword made contact with Naraku's neck. But this time was different then the last time Naraku disappeared, much different.

 

Along with him, Kagome and the whole castle disappeared around Inuyasha. Inuyasha found himself alone in a plain field of grass.

 

-“If you plan on ever seeing this human again, come find me.” Naraku's voice echoed in the wind.

 

Inuyasha dropped to his knees and punched the ground angrily. *No! I've lost her again!* “Dammit!” he exclaimed angrily and punched the ground again. Naraku's laugh echoed in his head over and over again, it was haunting....
