A/n: Nearing the end of the story; I think I can get everything wrapped up. The next chapter is gonna be a good one so I'll make sure to give a glimpse at the end of this chapter. Pay attention!

The past & the present

The present

He drove home in his black hummer. All his thoughts were focused on Kagome, he knew her fate. He actually couldn't wait for it; she'd finally be with him. He had a room for her; he knew she'd be coming back.

*Flashback*

“Momma is pregnant with your child” Shippo announced while he was at Sesshomaru's house.

“She's that far behind” Sess questioned.

“If we lie to her, we'll make her go through the steps that she didn't take last time” Shippo explained.

“What happened last time was that she mated with Inuyasha, we battled Naraku & she completed the jewel. After she made her selfless wish, she disappeared” Sesshomaru said.

“But I know from Kagura that Naraku planned on kidnapping & raping her, if she goes down a different path she can make a new wish” Shippo cheered.

“What was her original wish?” Sesshomaru wondered.

“For everyone to live a happy healthy life”

*end*

“Dad, day dreaming over mom again” Kashia asked, she had grown into a lovely demoness. She was as powerful as her dad but as sweet as her mom.

“It was not over your mom but about her” He said softly.

“Where's…” Inuyasha saw him.

“How was the visit?” Yasha asked.

“She is still breath taking; her scent hasn't changed a bit”

“Dad” Nouchia called out.

“Yes pup” He answered

“When do I get to meet mom?”

“Soon sweetie” She looked merely 16, being almost 10 times as old.

Rin & Shippo

“Shippo, Mom's wish may not change the future”

“But it may not make her disappear”

“I know it's hard, but if nothing else, we saw her once again”

“I won't settle for just that, we didn't wait all these years just to see her once” He wasn't trying to sound angry he was just frustrated.

“She'll do what she feels is best for her family” Rin knew it wasn't comforting but she knew what was needed to be said.

The past (At Sesshomaru's castle)

Once she crossed through the well, she left sickly once again so she swallowed 2 tablets to pull through.

“Sesshomaru” She flashed back to the modern one. He was still as good looking as he always been but the modern clothes did him wonders.

“Mate”

“I love you so much, never forget that” She clung to him.

`Why the sudden declaration, is she leaving me?'

“Are you leaving me?”

“No, why would I?”

He didn't answer.

“Come on, answer me”

But he still refused.

“I'm going to bed then, I'm tired” She left him & went to her old room in the pups' wing.

`What's wrong with him?'

She was so exhausted, mostly from the pills, so she fell asleep instantly.

Dream

“Get out of my castle”

“But I'm your mate”

“You are nothing but a slut, I know you enjoyed Kouga”

“I didn't mean to, it was a mistake”

`I am ashamed, you've dishonored me”

“I'm sorry, I'll just go then, Can I say goodbye to the pups?”

“No”

He slammed the door on her face.

`Goodbye my love, Goodbye forever' she thought sadly.

Her head lowered as she walked to Inuyasha's room, only to find him rutting with Kikyo.

“Reincarnation, you are here; I have come to collect my soul” She was still naked.

“Get off my mate” She flared her aura slightly but it didn't scare Kikyo.

Kikyo, who was ready, flared her aura, filling the room.

“Do not worry reincarnate; I'll keep your mate” She said coldly, calling her soul back.

*End*

Kagome shot up in bed to see Inuyasha & Sesshomaru at her bedside.

“Kagome, Are you alright?” Inuyasha asked.

“Get away from me” She yelled. Both brothers looked confused.

“But…”

“Get out” Her voice seemed to only get louder & her hands glowed pink.

Inuyasha backed away to the door.

“Both of you” She said softer.

Sesshomaru left as well. Sitting alone in her room, she cried; Not for herself or her mates but for her situation.

“Why is she upset?” Sesshomaru asked

“How should I know?” Inuyasha said.

“You were with her last”

“We had an argument, she went to bed”

“I wonder if she'll be alright”

`Dumb Bakas, I know it was a dream but if Sesshomaru knew the truth, would he disown me? & if Kikyo was around, would Inuyasha cheat on me? Only 1 way to find out'

Pulling herself out of bed, she opened the door to find both her mates there.

“Inuyasha, I need to talk to you in private. Sesshomaru can you wait in your study, I'll be there in a minute?”

She didn't wait for answers. She pulled Inuyasha into her room & closed the door.

“Inuyasha, if Kikyo was to come back around, would you mate with her?” Kagome asked.

Inuyasha was shocked. “Where are you going with this?” He asked.

“I deserve to know, did you only mate with me because Kikyo died?”

“Kikyo isn't dead; she lives in a miko village in the Eastern Lands Sesshomaru found her”

“Did you go see her?'

“No”

“Do you want to?”

“I did & I do but I won't”

“Why?”

“Because I can't”

“Why not?”

“Do you want me to go?”

“If you want to”

“No”

“No you don't want to go?”

“No need to Kagome”

She liked his answer.

“Was that all you were worried about?”

“Not worried, slightly concerned, I gotta go see Sesshomaru” She left him alone to his thoughts in her room.

`I hope he doesn't flip out, I wonder why my mark didn't burn'

“Sess”

“I am sorry, I shouldn't have assumed” He said quickly.

“Assumed what?”

“That you were leaving me”

“I'm not going anywhere but that's not why I need to talk to you, it's about Kouga”

“What about him?”

“When he molested me, I moaned… willingly”

“Do you like him?”

“No”

“Did you like it?”

“Sort of”

“What are you so nervous?”

“I don't want you to … disown me, to take Kashia & the pups away from me” She sounded timid.

“I'd never disown you”

“I know”

“Then why did you feel that way?”

“I wasn't thinking clearly”

“It's alright”

“I can't wait to have my baby, what should I name her?”

“Anything you like”

“I'll name her Nouchia” She squealed at the new name, rubbing her stomach gladly.
