Prologue: Kagome's Broken Heart

A.N I really want to see what ya'll think of this first. I will wright this story if I get good reviews. It is a shorter chapter compared to my other story.

Summary:

Kagome has her heart broken for the last time. She runs from everyone she knows to end up in the present with someone she had always loved.

"Kikyou, Don't Go." Inuyasha yelled to Kikyou's retreating form.

Inuyasha was standing by the God Tree watching as his one true love flew with her soul-stealing demons to a village about fifteen miles from here. He finally noticed the other presence hiding not to far from where he was standing. Inuyasha slowly twisted his body around to see a sad Kagome turn and run towards the bone eaters well.

'I have to get away from him.' Was the only thing Kagome could think of as she ran blindly from the one she loved so dearly, and the one that broke her heart so many times.

Kagome couldn't see where she was going nor did she care. She ran as her feet started to bleed from the lack of shoes. Her heart was beating faster than it should. She didn't even notice the stitch in her side.

She lost her balance and tumbled down a tall hill. She ended up cutting the side of her stomach open as she reached out to grab a log to stop herself with, but she never felt the pain as she got up and started running again.

The young miko finally stopped by a stream. She took several gulps to quench her thirst and decided to lay down and rest for a while. Just as she fell asleep a figure loomed over her.

'I knew I smelt blood, but I never thought that Inuyasha would let Kagome out of his sight especially not when she is wounded so badly.' A tall dark demon thought as he stood over a sleeping Kagome, 'I might just take her so she will never be hurt agian. That is what I came for anyways.'

The demon bent down and lifted her up bridal-style. He carried her toward the Bone Eaters Well, he could fly but decided to walk so the Inu-gang wouldn't notice him.

As soon as he got to the well he jumped in. The Blue light proving that they went through.

Once on the other side he took flight so nobody would notice a man carrying an unconscious teenaged girl that was bleeding profoundly.

He flew all the way to his apartment. As soon as he got to the tall building he landed on the top and opened the door to the penthouse and slowly walked in like he sensed something amiss.

Right on cue someone ran out to greet him.

"Rin stop."Was all the guy said to the Thirteen-year-old she-demon. "You'll wake her."

"I made her bed and fixed her some food for when she wakes up."The raven haired girl, now known as Rin, said.

"Alright. Get some bandages and a night gown for her."With that said the man went into a room at the end of the hall while Rin went in the opposite direction.

When Rin got back to the room she asked, "Do you need anything else?"

"No you can go back to bed."

"Good night, Father."

"Good night."With that he kissed her on the cheek and sent her on her way.

About that time a tall nineteen-teen-year-old demon walked in. He had red hair down to his thighs with green eyes.

"Is she going to be alright?"He asked.

"Yes, Shippo. She'll be fine."
