From chapter 26:
The orc opens the door, and Sauron follows him, with the three werewolf bodyguards between
him and Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru's acid whip forms. He springs at Sauron, moving faster than he ever has before . .
He brushes aside the surprised werewolves . . .
His acid hand buries itself deep into Sauron's back, while his acid whip wraps around Sauron's
neck . . .
The force of Sesshomaru's assault drives Sauron into the wall on the other side of the corridor.
The three werewolves react, like the trained bodyguards they are.
One of them grabs the acid whip and, even though his hands are being destroyed in the process,
he manages to get it off Sauron.
The other grabs Sesshomaru's other arm and forces it out of Sauron's back.
The third, and largest, of the werewolves grabs Sesshomaru around the waist and throws him
back into the room.
Sesshomaru grabs the two smaller werewolves with his hands and with his legs he grabs the
largest werewolf as he flies back into the room.
All four bodies tumble back into the room.
The orcs, in the corridor, quickly slam the door shut. There are dozens of orcs and other
monsters in the hallway, all of them waiting on their lord to tell them what to do.
Sauron, leaning against the wall, stands up and thinks. 'Arrggh . . . my back. I'm going to have to
heal it, even though that is a lot power to use, especially with other battles looming. I cannot let
any of these weaklings see me hurt or injured, it would cause them to lose their fear of me.'
Sauron concentrates and heals his wounds.
"Lord, what . . . what do we do?" one of the orcs in the corridor asks.
Sauron looks at the door, he can hear and sense that the combat inside the room has begun . . .
'The best solution is to leave that door sealed and in a year or so, open it. They'll all be dead of
thirst and starvation. But. Draugluin's family is large and full of fight. They will not obey me if I
ordered them to leave the room alone. So, I better use that to my advantage.' he thinks. 'And
against Huan I made the mistake of sending each werewolf against him alone, this time, I will
not make that mistake again.'
"You." Sauron points to an orc.
"Lord."
"Go find the rest of Draugluin's family and tell them to come here. They can enter the room six
at a time, until, of course the creature inside the room is dead. Tell them that the one that brings
me his head will be the new lord of the werewolves."
"You." Sauron points to another orc.
"Lord."
"Go to my room and have my sword, shield and armor brought to me."
"Yes, sir." The orc runs off.
'It is times like this I wish I could have gotten my hands on the sword Ringil. But, Morgoth will
never let the sword that wounded him in the hands of another. Still . . Anguirel is a fine weapon.'
Sauron thinks. 'Its twin blade killed Glaurung the father of all dragons. So, Scatha, will fear me,
once I show it.'
Sauron directs his mystical powers down toward the dungeon to see if he can sense Kagome. He can.
'That power is coming from a human female?' Sauron shakes his head. 'I never would have
believed it. Humans are so weak and the females are the weaker than the males. If I had thought
that she was important, I would not have handed her over to the orcs, but everything I read in his
mind told me that she was just a weak human female, so I dismissed her as inconsequential.'
Sauron mumbles in a low voice, "Obviously a mistake, and one I'm not going to make again."
"Lord?" an orc asks in puzzlement. Sauron is not given to thinking out loud.
Sauron looks at him and orders, "Gather together all the orcs in the tower. Order them to the
main entrance room. Direct the human female to the room, by removing all the traps in the
corridor between the dungeon entrance and the main entrance room. Leave the traps in the other
corridor's to stop her."
"Lord, what about the lady spider?"
"If she kills her that is acceptable. However, OBEY my orders. And gather the rest of the orcs in
the room, as I ordered." Sauron uses a little bit of mind control to make sure the orc understands.
The orc scurries off, shouting orders.
"You." Sauron points to another orc.
"Lord."
"Come here."
The orc approaches Sauron and Sauron whispers additional orders to the orc, who runs off to
obey his lord.
'This corridor will become crowded with werewolves soon, and given Sesshomaru's speed,
letting him see me, might not be a good thing. And, knowing the stupidity of these orcs, I
probably need to be closer to the main entrance to direct their attack on that female.' he decides.
"I will move downstairs. Have my sword and armor brought to me." Sauron orders at the orcs
and he moves away, to find a stairway down.
*****************
Inside the room with Sesshomaru and three werewolves . . .
The battle among the four is destroying the room and it's furnishings.
Blood and fur are flying everywhere. The small size of the room and a fight between four large
creatures means that the fight is between natural weapons, claws and teeth, not with swords.
Sesshomaru is thrown against the wall, into one of the corners.
The force of his body hitting the wall widens the small crack that Kagome's shaking of the tower
caused.
The room is unsealed.
Power, not a large amount because the crack in the seal is small, but power flows into Sesshomaru.
'Good. Now it is a fair fight.' Sesshomaru glares at the three werewolves and attacks.
And Sesshomaru's thoughts as he fights them?
'Finally a fight that's worthy to be called a fight.'
He is starting to enjoy himself immensely . . .
'I'm sure that Kagome's shaking of the building caused that crack, since there is no way, that just
the force of my body caused it. This room is too well constructed for just my hitting the wall to
cause a crack. When I've killed everything in this building and rescued her, I will thank her. I
don't know if I could have survived against all three, without that crack and the power it lets in.'
A few minutes pass as Sesshomaru and the werewolves fight . . .
As Sesshomaru rises from the floor the room, with the heart of the third and last werewolf in his
right-hand, the door opens and six more werewolves enter the room.
He smiles, blood dripping from his face, blood from when he bit out the throat of the second werewolf.
He jumps over the body of the first werewolf, the one whose head is twisted all the way around.
Sesshomaru, the great dog demon, releases his natural combat instincts and he attacks the six
new werewolves....
******************
Downstairs in a different corridor.
In addition to the orcs there is also a cave troll (like from the movie) in this large corridor.
"Lord, your sword, shield and armor." the head orc of the group offers Sauron his sword. The
others have his armor and shield. He holds out his arms and they begin to place the armor on him.
The shield is flat black with the symbol of Morgoth on it.
The armor is a version of full plate mail, similar to the types worn by western medieval knights.
One of the major differences are instead of shining steel, the armor is a dark midnight blue that
fades into black. The other major difference is the helmet, which instead of hiding Sauron's face
behind a mask, does not have a face plate on, leaving Sauron's face fully visible.
'I tried shape shifting in the last battle, so let's try full armor in this one.' he thinks. He adjusts the
sword at his waist. 'Hopefully the orcs will kill her, combat skills are not my strength, magic is.'
The Tower shakes . . .
Sauron orders one of the orcs near him to go downstairs and find out what just happened.
The Tower shakes and shakes . .
Dust and dirt fall from the ceiling.
The orcs near Sauron run and hide, they are afraid that the tower will collapse.
"Stand. The tower will survive." Sauron orders, putting some mind control magic in his voice to
make sure the orcs obey.
"Troll."
The Troll grunts.
"Go downstairs and kill any human you see." Sauron orders.
The Troll lumbers around Sauron and starts down the stairs.
"You." Sauron points to an orc.
"Lord."
"Go upstairs and find out what's keeping the werewolves. They should have killed Sesshomaru
by now." The orc leaves.
A blinding flash of light appears in the stairway.
Sauron and some of the orcs go to the stairway and look down.
The Troll has been turned to stone. (Trolls, in some Tolkien stories, had a tendency to do that,
when exposed to sunlight.)
The Troll explodes, shards of rock fly up the stairs and kill several of the orcs. The basic
defensive spell woven into his armor protects Sauron.
Kagome stands revealed on a landing on the stairs below, a bow and arrow in her hands.
She sees him, standing above her. She sees a tall man in black armor, a large black shield at his
side. His handsome face stares at her. For some reason, Kagome thinks, 'He is handsome and
pleasing to look at.' She blinks, 'Why did I just think that? He's not my type.'
She raises her bow and fires at Sauron.
He raises his hands and gestures, the wave of purification is deflected away from him, although
it does destroy some of the orcs behind him.
"I take it you're the boss?" Kagome asks in a tight voice.
"I am Lord Sauron, human." Sauron begins to speak in a low voice.
His voice is full of magic. It is a voice that in the past has ensnared many a human and even
some elf lords in its subtle web of mind control magic. His eyes hold her eyes. His gaze is also
full of mind control magic.
Kagome shakes her head. She is feeling the magic affect her.
"There has been a misunderstanding, lovely woman. All of this was an error. Drop your weapons
and all will be made right." He continues to speak in that same magic riddled voice.
Kagome lowers her bow. The arrow that she was going to fire, slides from her nerveless fingers.
"Yes, my lovely woman. Drop your bow and all will be made right."
Kagome drops her bow. Her eyes begin to glaze over.
Confident that she is ensnared in his mind control magic, Sauron turns to speak to the orcs
behind him, breaking eye contact with Kagome.
She shakes her head, trying to clear her mind. Her mental shields, the ones that she's developed
during other times she's been mind controlled, snap into place.
Her eyes clear.
"Sauron." she whispers.
He swiftly twists to look at her.
"You lose!" she yells. She extends her hands and . . .
A blinding wave of purification leaves her hands and fills the stairway.
A black globe of light surrounds Sauron.
The wave fades, leaving only Sauron and Kagome in the stairway, all the nearby orcs are
puddles of goo . . .
He begins to sing. The song is full of wizardry. A song full of piercing, opening, treachery. It is
full of revealing, uncovering and betraying magic.
It is the magical song he sang when he fought Finrod Felagund, the King of Nargothrond. He
won that battle of magic and captured the king of the elves and the human hero Beren at the
same time.
Kagome, under the force of Sauron's magic, falls to knees, her head bows as she thinks, 'I've got
to fight him, but how? A song? Yes! But what song?'
She smiles, 'His song is full of death, destruction and treachery, so I've got to fight him with life,
creation and passion. I know just the song. I'll never forget it.'
She opens her mouth and begins to sing. It is the song Kaede's villagers sang to her during the
spring fertility festival. It is an event that Kagome will never forget.
"Before the cave of heaven where Amaterasu omi Kami, the sun goddess . . . " Kagome begins to
sing.
Her power expands and she stands up.
Sauron increases the volume of his song.
Kagome smiles as she sings. Her feet begin to tap to the music only she hears. She begins to
glow. Sauron's voice screeches out his song of magic. A black haze of light forms around him.
'That song. It's just pure emotion, no skill, just raw passion.' he thinks. 'I'm used to the refined
magic of elves, not the raw power and passion of this human.'
Kagome begins to dance on the landing. Her feet and her body remember the song. Her glow
becomes blindly bright.
Her borrowed shirt begins to slip off her shoulders. She smiles as she begins to reenact Uzume's
erotic dance.
Sauron falters during his song. 'Damn it. It's like the battle with Luthien all over again. I can't
beat her with magic.' His eyes flick to one side.
The orcs next to him are all puddles of goo from Kagome's song and power, but the glass globes
that Sauron had ordered one of the orcs to bring are still intact. His earlier whispered orders were
followed.
A simple telekinesis spell picks up the globes and throws them down the stairway. They shatter
on impact. A greenish gas rises from the shards.
'That's the same sleeping gas as last time.' Kagome thinks in a panic. In her panic, as she tries to
purify the gas, she also breathes in the gas.
'He cheated . . . I was winning . . . ' is Kagome's last thought as she falls unconscious.
Her glow fades . . .
Sauron takes a deep breath in relief, 'What is she? Only the Elvin princess's Luthien and
Galadriel are close to her in power. And she's human?'
He staggers to one side of the stairway and leans against, gathering his strength. 'Drained.
Resisting her power . . . '
He hears orcs begin to come down the corridor. He stands up, away from the wall. 'I can't let
them see me weakened.'
"Take her to my room." he orders the orcs that are peaking around the corner.
'I'm going to rape her mind and find out exactly who and what she is.' Sauron decides . .
"Lord Sauron!" the orc that he ordered upstairs to check in the werewolves returns. "The creature
inside the room is still fighting. The werewolves are stacked up in the corridor, waiting their turn
at him."
Sauron purses his lips. 'He should be dead. Obviously something's gone wrong.'
He orders, "Stop sending in the werewolves. Prepare for him to break out. Once he comes out,
attack him with all possible force." A pause. "Prepare and use poisoned arrows. I want him dead."
The orc turns and runs upstairs, to relay Sauron's orders.
**************************
Back to Sesshomaru . .
The Tower shakes and shakes . . .
The fight in the room stops as all the werewolves in it try to keep their feet while the tower rocks.
'Kagome.' Sesshomaru thinks. 'She's free and fighting. And since Sauron isn't here . . . He has to
be challenging her. IF he harms her . . I will kill him.'
The ferocity of Sesshomaru's attacks increases .
'I must be free. I must save her.'
As he fights the werewolves, he throws them at the crack, trying to widen it with their dead bodies.
The wall around the crack becomes painted in red blood .
As the waves of werewolves stop, he pounds on the crack.
Each swing is powerful enough to shatter the bones in his hands. He directs all his power into his
healing abilities and when the pain in his hands decreases to excruciating.
He pounds the wall again . . . widening the crack .
*****************************
A haze . . .
A vague shape of tentacles . . .
an emotion of fear . . .
A nightmare .
"My lovely, Kagome." Sesshomaru whispers into Kagome's ear. He kisses her ear, gently.
"Sesshomaru." Kagome whispers in a dreaming tone. "That feels so . . . nice."
"I love you, Kagome." Sesshomaru's hands begin to caress her nude breasts. "Let me enter you. I
will make you feel . . . better than you have ever felt before."
Kagome's eyes crack open, all she can see is Sesshomaru. Anything she tries to see in the
background is just grayish mist. She smiles. She brushes aside his wonderful head of hair and
kisses his ear. "Yes . . . I want to feel you inside me . . . " she whispers in a voice full of lust.
"Let me in." Sesshomaru's hands part her legs and he positions himself above her nude body.
Kagome reaches down, caresses his manhood and she positions him at her entrance. 'He feels
wrong . . . ' she thinks.
Kagome's blinks, her eyes clear. The hazy background clears into a featureless plain. 'I'm in a
dream. He's trying to enter my mind.'
Sesshomaru moves down . . .
He screams in agony. Kagome is crushing his manhood.
"You are not Sesshomaru." she hisses. "I know his body and this is not his manhood."
**************************
Let's go back a few minutes . .
Sauron is standing in his room.
It looks like the typical sorcerer's lair. There are cases full of odd items. Jars full of unique items,
books, scrolls, glass tubes. On one of the large chests in the room is the cube and Kagome's
shard necklace placed on top of her school books. On the same chest is a large glass tube, in it,
suspended in a clear liquid, is a dead baby elf.
There is a table, also full of magical equipment and a few chairs in the room, as well.
In the center of the room is a large western-style bed in the room. Sauron does not actually need
to sleep, but sometimes after a casting a powerful magical spell, it is good to rest and recover.
Kagome is stretched out on his bed. Her hands and feet have been tied to the bed posts. She only
has on her bra and panties.
Sauron places his shield against his bed. He picks up a chair, places it beside the bed and sits
down on it. He removes the gauntlets that cover his hands.
He reaches out, and chanting in low voice, he grasps Kagome's head.
Black tentacles of power rise from his skin and enter her head.
'I will rape her mind.' Sauron thinks.
His first attempt crumbles against her mental barriers.
'She's been mind controlled before. Her defenses, they are strong and experienced. Sesshomaru's
defenses, while good, had never been challenged. Nobody where he came from had ever
attempted to mind control him. But her . . . Her defenses have been tried and tested against other
mind control attempts and hers are far stronger than his . . . All I'm getting is her name.
Higurashi Kagome. No other information.' he thinks.
"So . . . let's change the scenario. If terror won't work, let's try seduction." His song of mind
control changes.
A couple of minutes pass . .
Sauron screams as his imaginary penis and balls are crushed in Kagome's grip .
Back in Kagome's mind . . .
(It's just too bad for Sauron that his servants undressed Sesshomaru. He never saw Sesshomaru's
nude body, so . . . the body he created in Kagome's mind to seduce her . . . was not correct . .
poor Sauron, no?)
Sesshomaru changes into Sauron. "Woman. Cease your resistance to me and I will be gentle. I
will not destroy your mind."
Kagome's other hand tries to gouge his face. "I'll die before I let you inside my mind."
"So . . . the hard and the painful way . . I will crush you, Higurashi Kagome." Sauron threatens
and directs the full and awful force of his mind against hers . . .
"You may beg me to stop . . . I might even agree." His voice is full black hate as he laughs . .
Kagome screams in agony . . .
'I've got to break her fast. She partially purified the sleeping gas and she will awaken soon.' he thinks.
Kagome screams again . . . the pain she is feeling is the worst that she's ever experienced . . .
'Her defenses are crumbling . . although the power it's taking to suppress them . . . ' Sauron
worriedly thinks.
Suddenly . . .
'What?' Some instinct warns Sauron. He barely has time to grab his shield and twist around.
Tokijin shatters Sauron's shield.
The force of Sesshomaru's attack throws Sauron across the bed.
"I will kill you." Sesshomaru hisses.
Sauron, quickly, especially in that heavy armor stands up and draws his sword. He turns to face
Sesshomaru. 'I was so concerned with Kagome that I forgot about him . . ' He stares at Sesshomaru
Sesshomaru is nude. The fight with the werewolves was fierce, their claws destroyed his armor
and clothes, and picking up new clothes to cover himself isn't a priority.
The only things on his body are the sheathes for Tokijin, Tenseiga and Jaa Kalpa. They are tied
around him by bloody strips of werewolf fur.
He is covered head to foot in blood. A trail of blood leads out into the corridor. Sauron can see
wounds on his body heal. Sesshomaru right leg regenerates from blood-covered bones as he
watches. The additional power of Middle Earth is empowering his healing abilities to levels
Sesshomaru has never dreamed of . . .
'Damn. When I realized his regeneration abilities were regrowing his arm, I placed spells and
devices inside the newly grown arm to control it. But, I can see that sometime during the fight
with the werewolves he has had to regrow at least part of that arm again and my spells are gone .
. . ' Sauron thinks in a panic, the surprise that he was counting on is gone . . .
Sesshomaru's body twitches, like something is hitting his back. Sauron can see orcs behind him,
firing arrows into him.
Sesshomaru snarls, a sound that causes the orcs behind him to cower in fear, "Face me, Sauron
the weak, Sauron the coward. Face me and die."
Sauron places his sword on Kagome's neck. "Move and she dies."
Tokijin glows black.
"Kill her. I can raise the dead." Sesshomaru states in a voice full of death . . .
Tenseiga, even in its sheath, glows white . . .
"And for every time you kill her, I will torture you to death . . . then raise you again so I can do it
all over again . . not once but ten times over . . . " Sesshomaru's growls in a voice the god of
death would fear . . .
Sauron looks into the blood red eyes of Sesshomaru and Sauron is suddenly absolutely sure
Sesshomaru is telling the truth.
"The only way you live, Sauron, is over my dead body." Sesshomaru grins, his fangs showing.
It's a vision that will stay with Sauron the rest of his life . . .
"But I sealed . . . " Sauron begins to say . .
"You did not know that Tokijin and Tenseiga can free themselves." Sesshomaru grins.
He charges, his free hand grabs the bed with Kagome on it and he throws it out his way. It
shatters against the wall, spilling Kagome onto the floor.
Kagome groans as she awakens . . .
Sauron raises his sword Anguirel in defense.
Tokijin and Anguirel meet.
Black sparks fly . . .
The sound of dead and crying souls echoes through the room, as two evil and powerful swords
clash for dominance.
Tokijin smashes into Anguirel again . . .
Anguirel shatters. Sauron's right arm hangs limply beside him. The force of that attack
pulverized the bones in his arm. He starts to try to scramble away from the blood red tower of
power that is Sesshomaru.
Tokijin raises again . . . the final attack to kill Sauron . .
Sauron screams. "No! Stop! I'll do anything! Just don't kill me!" He cowers in the corner of the room.
Sesshomaru twitches . .
Tokijin slides from his fingers . . .
He falls face down on the floor . . .
Sesshomaru's back looks like a pincushion. It is full of arrows. All of the arrows are coated with
a slimy green poison.
The orcs in the corridor, yells, "Lord! We filled him with enough poison to kill a herd of
oliphaunts and he still lived!"
'There was no mercy in him . . ' Sauron thinks, 'Even Luthein gave me to the chance to surrender,
but with him . . nothing.'
Sauron stands. "Take him away and burn him."
He turns to survey the damage to the room.
Kagome sits up, blood dripping from her scalp from when she fell off the bed.
She gestures this causes the shards of the Jewel of Four Souls to fly into her hand.
"These are mine, Sauron. My birthright. My curse."
Her hand glows.
Kagome whispers . . . "I will not be mind raped . . . " Her body glows . .
"You lose . . . " certainty shines in her voice.
Power explodes . .
Kagome's rage-driven power, magnified by the shards expands .
The Tower shakes . . .
The Tower glows . . .
The Tower is reshaped and rebuilt back into a pure white marble tower . .
The entire tower is purified.
From the most powerful servant of Sauron in the tallest spire down to the smallest virus in the
lowest dungeon everything in the tower is purified.
Tol-in-Gaurhoth is gone . . .
Minas Tirith is back . . .
The wave of power expands . . . It weakens . . . but it can be felt across very wide distances . .
***************************
Gothmog, the lord of the Balrogs, and Scatha the dragon is flying toward Tol-in-Gaurhoth.
Gothmog is riding on Scatha's back.
They both can feel Kagome's power.
"That felt horrible." Gothmog growls as he shudders.
Scatha nods his head in agreement.
"What is Sauron doing?" Gothmog asks the sky.
{Gothmog} {Scatha}
{Yes, Lord Morgoth} they both reply to his telepathic communication.
{Return at once. I will need to give you new orders. Sauron has obviously gone over to the side
of the Valar that can be the only explanation to that wave of power.}
Gothmog and Scatha, as he bends his head back, look at each other.
Gothmog hesitates, then in a very cautious tone he replies. {We are almost within sight of the
Tol-in-Gaurhoth, lord.}
{RETURN!} Morgoth replies in a very angry tone.
Scatha makes a huge turn and begins to fly back to Angband and Morgoth . .
*******************************
Eonwe, the Herald of Manwe who is the lord of the gods of middle earth, turns to Earendil, the
father of Elrond, and he says, "Lord Earendil, that wave of power, do you recognize it?"
"No, Lord Eonwe. There is nothing on Middle Earth that could do that." he replies, the Silmaril
that Beren stole from Morgoth shining from his helmet.
Eonwe nods and he orders, "Increase the pace of the advance. I wish the army of Valar to reach
Minas Tirith as quickly as possible."
The orders are passed along and the shining army of Valar, whose arms and armor shine with the
purity of good, raises those weapons and shouts in agreement.
The army of Valar is increases it's pace toward Minas Tirith . .
******************************
Back at the tower of Minas Tirith . . .
Kagome's power fades and light, other than pure white, is allowed into the tower.
Sauron collapses to the ground. He is alive. It took all of his power to, just barely, survive that
blast. He is unconscious and will be for hours.
Kagome begins to crawl to Sesshomaru.
'If he had not arrived and attacked, Sauron would have crushed my mind. I've got to think him
for saving my soul.' she thinks in gratitude.
Her blast cleaned him. It also saved his life, even with his increased power the poison would
have killed him. But, Sesshomaru is still unconscious, and he will be for hours as he recovers.
Kagome reaches Sesshomaru and collapses into unconsciousness upon his chest. Her power is
expended and she needs to rest and heal up. Kagome is unconscious and she will be for hours.
All the other inhabitants of the tower are gone, not even puddles remain . . .
Kagome purified them . .
******************************
Later . . . in Sauron's bedroom . .
"Lord Eonwe. This is one is Sauron." One of the Vanyar elves points to his body.
"We do not know who the other two are." He points to Sesshomaru and Kagome.
"He is not of middle earth. And her appearance is not like any human on middle earth." Eonwe states.
He turns and looks at the cube and Kagome's books. "And there are objects in this room that are
not from middle earth. These objects are not from anyplace I know."
He pauses. "Gather up these items." He gestures and all of Kagome's and Sesshomaru's items
that they brought with them glow. "Bring these two as well. Treat them with kindness, but do not
let them leave. Something strange is going on here."
He sighs. "But, investigating will have to wait until after Melkor is captured."
Earendil, who is also in the room, asks, "How long will that take?"
"Hmmm . . . It took us years to decide to march against Melkor. Investigating this is not as
important, so it may take longer."
"And those two and their items?"
"Until Manwe, the lord of the gods, makes his decision, which he will make when he has
listened to all sides and has learned all that he can, so that his decision will be correct, we will
hold them." Eonwe judges. He frowns. "But, since they are strange and they devices and
equipment are strange and some of them are evil." He glares at Tokijin
"Some of them, I believe are things that men were not supposed to know about," he gestures to
the cube, "we will separate them from their weapons and equipment. I do not want them to attack
us, at least, not until we can talk to them."
The end of chapter 28 . .
How will Kagome and Sesshomaru retrieve their items from the Valar?
And how will they convince them to let them go . .
__________________________________________
For the readers that are wishing for more details as Sesshomaru fights the werewolves . . . I'm
sorry, I just didn't see the need to describe every attack, besides see below . . He has a better
opponent to fight. And I will go into detail in that fight . .
Kagome's song . . . is from my story "Spring Fertility Festival." It's very erotic . . .
Sauron's cowardice . . . He is not good in a fight, ok. In the first age in the battle vs. Huan (a dog)
and Luthein (an Elvin princess) he surrendered to Luthein. In the 2nd age, he surrendered to the
king of Numenor instead of fighting him. In a battle before the first age, where Morgoth was
captured, he somehow escaped.
Authors note: Hmmm. How to say this . . . Ok. I love Tolkien (I think that's obvious), but the one
of the things that I do wish he could have done better is romance. Every couple, which I can
remember, was either love at first sight or hate at first sight. There are no building romance
storylines. Yes, there are storylines where a couple faces problems and they overcome those
problems (Beren & Luthein vs. Sauron & Morgoth as an example), but the togetherness of the
couple isn't challenged. (Oh, they might be physically apart, but emotionally they are always together.)
And even when there is time for some fluffyness, waffness . . all he writes is "They go off into
the woods together . . . and what they do there is not mentioned." (A paraphrase) and he moves
into the next combat/challenge sequence.
So, in keeping with the Tolkien feel that I'm trying to do . . . the amount of waffness in this story
arc is going to be lower than many readers (and myself, as well) would like. I'll put in what I can,
but, be it'll be after the major fights are over. (And there are, at least, two more confrontations to
go . . . )

{Gothmog} {Scatha}
{Yes, Lord Morgoth} they both reply to his telepathic communication.
{Return at once. I will need to give you new orders. Sauron has obviously gone over to the side
of the Valar that can be the only explanation to that wave of power.}
Gothmog and Scatha, as he bends his head back, look at each other.
Gothmog hesitates, then in a very cautious tone he replies. {We are almost within sight of the
Tol-in-Gaurhoth, lord.}
(And there are, at least, two more confrontations to
go . . . )
Preview chapter 29: Gothmog, the Balrog vs. Sesshomaru & Kagome . . .
Gothmog stands towering over Kagome. His head still smoking from her arrow.
He raises his sword to kill her . .
'Now that I am fully healed. And since these idiots are withholding my swords' Sesshomaru
thinks and he changes shape . .
"RRROOOAAARRR!"
He turns around and he faces . .
The huge white dog demon, Sesshomaru, as he roars again his battle challenge.
Sesshomaru charges, his mouth open . .
Gothmog charges, his whip of flame in one hand, his sword of lightning in another . .
They meet . . .
Doom . . .
