This chapter is basically all flashbacks, I'll try not to be too confusing ^-^!

 

Chapter 2: Painful Memories

 

The youkai girl stumbled into the woods, panting, crying still screaming child-like,

 

“Inu! Inu! Inu! Inu!!!!!”

 

She pounded her fist against as it snapped and toppled over. She fell over on her hands and knees, half sobbing, half screaming.

 

“why, why, WHYY!!”

 

She leaned back against the base of a tree, and started to black out. She was completely wiped out..as everything went blank

“Karin? Karin? My love are you here?” A young boy about 18 called out.

 

He had silver hair, with ears similar to inuyasha's, except they had black tips. He had black diamond in the middle of his forehead and deep blue eyes. He was very handsome and fit.

 

“Inu!” the same silver hair girl called out happily, “I'm right here!”

 

She smiled and poked her head out from behind the giant boulder at the edge of the lake. She patted a spot next to her. He laughed and ran up to her and plopped down.

 

She wore a white kimono, a white lacy ribbon in her hair.

 

“my my aren't we dressed up today” he said as he looked at her up and down.

 

She laughed and gave a playful smile..

 

“all for you..” she put her arms around his neck and looked into his eyes passionitly. He looked back at her the same way and embraced her, pressing his lips against her. As he placed his hand on the small of her back she pressed into him allowing him to deepen the kiss. He sowly pulled back and she tucked a piece of his hair behind his ear lovingly.

 

“mmm..” he nuzzled into her neck his ears standing up,

 

“Karin I want to be with you forever..” he breathed in deeply taking her scent in.

“I can't wait until the day that you're mine…I don't want any one else to have you…” She took his head and put it in front of her and pressed her forehead against his,

 

“don't worry Inu, I'll love you, and you only”

 

he smiled,

 

“promise?”

 

“promise”

 

he tilted his head up and kissed her passoinatly switching his mouth and tounge positions, Karin Kissing him back the same way.

 

**whites out a new scene coming in**

 

A girl with black hair, pointed ears, wings and talons stood in front of the same young boy.

 

“so, I heard you proposed to her” she said glaring a bit.

 

“yup” he replied..” I want to marry her as soon as possible” he chirped smiling.

 

“well, I have bad news..” she said looking up

 

“you know, karin's only pretending to like you because she wants to take over your mothers territory” she said, crossig her arms.

 

“huh?! Are you serious?!” he said his eyes widened in shock

 

“she said not to tell anyone, but I think you deserve to know, because you are a friend… I would never lie to you, I swear”

 

“n-no, ki-kiyone, she seemed so perfect! She! That traitor!!!” he ran out of the rrom tear beginning to form from his eyes..

 

“that fool Karin, Inu is mine now…” she cackled, slowly fading out…

 

```~```~```~whites out and another scene forms~```~```~```

 

The dog youkai Karin waits out in the middle of a thunderstorm and a smile formed on her face when she saw the figure walking over the hill.

 

“Inu!”

 

she smiled and ran to him, but he was looking down and not smiling

“huh, love is something wrong?”

 

he didn't respond he just looked up unresponsive.

 

“huh” she said tilting her head to the side

 

he raised his hand unexpectantly, ad slapped her right across the face,

 

“you bi**h! You lied to me! You accually made me think I liked you!”

 

she stood motionlessly surprised and in shock. She only watched as he ran off. But then the bird demon swooped down laughing,

 

“wow you really screwed up, didn't you?” she smirked

 

suddenly she grabbed karins hand with her talons and ripped off the engagement ring he gave to her.

 

“well you won't be needing this will you?” She flew off

 

and all Karin could to was kneel down, and cry..
