Chapter Four:

Memories

Sighing angrily Inuyasha tried to block out all the thoughts of his father. It seemed impossible.

 

Nothing is impossible…

 

His mother's words flashed through his mind. Thinking about her made him think abut the father he used to love.

 

~*FLASHBACK*~

 

“You can do it Inuyasha.” His mother's sweet voice said as she came up behind the 4-year-old hanyou. Her long midnight hair swayed in the soft spring breeze as she watched her son splash through the pond water.

 

“No I can't mommy!” he stopped a moment and looked up at her. “Catching a fishy is impossible!”

 

“Nothing is impossible.” She smiled as he tried again and again. “Why do you want to catch a fishy Inuyasha?”

 

“Daddy says that when I catch a fishy I will be a man like Sesshoumaru!” The hanyou smiled and jumped a fish leaped into his arms. “I did it!” He cried.

 

“Good job!” He came out of the water and put the fish down on the ground. “See, I told you it wasn't impossible.” She wrapped her arms around her very wet son and hugged him close. “I guess you're my little man now, huh?”

 

“Yep!” He cried happily hugging his mother back. “Wait `til I show daddy!”

 

~*END FLASHBACK*~

 

“Inuyasha?” Kagome pulled him out of his thoughts.

 

“What?” He growled.

 

“Are you gunna call my family or leave a ransom note or anything?” She questioned. Her family was probably worried sick about her!

 

“I think that is last on my list of problems.” He snapped. Going back to prison didn't seem to fun at the moment.

 

~*FLASHBACK*~

The 6-year-old hanyou watched them lower his mother's casket into the ground slowly. Tears fell freely from his golden orbs. His brother stood beside him his arms crossed over his chest in a bored fashion.

 

“Can we go yet?” Sesshoumaru asked sighing.

 

“Yeah…let's go…” In no Tashou turned and began walking away as did Sesshoumaru. Inuyasha didn't move. “C'mon Inuyasha!” He still didn't move. Finally his dad grabbed him by the arm and dragged him off ignoring his screaming. The people watched, but made not move to stop him.

 

“Let go of me! I wanna see mommy!” Inuyasha screamed angrily.

 

“You can't! She is gone Inuyasha!” His father growled.

 

“You don't even care!”

 

“I sure don't…” Sesshoumaru mumbled as he walked. To bad for him his father lost his grip on Inuyasha's arm and Inuyasha tackled him to the ground punching him in the face every chance he had.

 

“I hate you!” The hanyou screamed at the top of his lungs. “I hate you all!” Sesshoumaru pushed him off and stood up holding his bloody nose.

 

“Stupid half-breed” he hissed. “Dad! Do something!” Before he had a chance Inuyasha took off as fast as he could through the cemetery.

 

~*END FLASHBACK*~

 

“I hate him…” Inuyasha mumbled to himself.

 

“Huh?” Kagome looked at him.

 

“Nothing…”

Well not only sucky but way shorter than usual…*sigh* Oh well…

 

Inuyasha: See! I beat you Sesshoumaru!

Sesshoumaru: You ran away…

Hay: SO?!

Sesshoumaru: So that doesn't count!

Hay: You got a bloody nose!

Inuyasha: Yeah! So haha!

Sesshoumaru: I looked like Michael Jackson there for a while…>_>
