Chapter.1 The Kitsune Youkai

The fox demon, Kiona, jumped aside as a gleaming blade nearly missed her and smashed into a tree. "Holy crap, Inuyasha! You trying to take my head off or something?!" She shouted at the sword's holder, who had long white hair and white ears and wore a red kimono a necklace made of purple beads and fangs.

"It's not like I meant to!" Inuyasha shouted back.

"Hmph, well, we might as well get back to the others anyway" Kiona said.

Inuyasha nodded and the two walked back to where Sango, Shippo and Miroku waited. When they returned, Kiona noticed Miroku staring at her again. He had reason to stare, even though Kiona was a demon, she was very pretty. She had long blonde hair, gleaming hazel eyes and wore a orangish-red kimono and a gold headband in which there was a single shard of the Shikon Jewel. The abnormal part about her were the black-tipped fox ears on her head and the white-tipped fox tail.

When she had first met Inuyasha and his group, she had engaged in a battle with Sango, who was a Demon Slayer. Kiona had won and spared Sango's life and said that her fight was not with her, but with Naraku because he had kidnapped her best friend, Nekosa, a cat demon. She had joined Inuyasha in hopes of defeating Naraku, but at times regreted it when Miroku flirted with or stared at her. "Quit staring at me Miroku, or you won't have any eyes left to stare with" She said in mock threat.

Everyone turned t'ward Miroku, who turned slightly red. '<i>Oh brother, now Miroku is even staring at girl demons</i>' Inuyasha thought to himself.Kirara, perched on Sango's shoulder, reminded them it was time to to go, her fluffly black-tipped, twin tails twitching impatiently. The group turned and walked on.It was a strange group, with a monk, a Demon Slayer, a Hanyou, a human and two fox demons in its ranks.
