just the beginning of a new life for kagome, kikyo, and sango. an unexpected problem occurs, though. i'm sure this chapter must be at least a bit boring...but stay with me, because the next chapter is going to be great! if you want a head start, go to inuyasha-fiction to see what i already put down^^

The breeze is blowing across the dark sky as a young girl packs her stuff and supplies into a red suitcase. Her black hair waves gently in her warm room. She grabs a checklist and starts reading, “Panties...check.....socks...check....skirts....check...favorite shampoo....check...."

'Kagome, tomorrow morning...you must be ready for the big day.' yell kagome's mom from down stairs.

"YEAH!" yell kagome back as she sits down and sigh. All her life, she has always wanted to go to the Unite States. Finally, her day has come. She, Sango, and Kikyo are the three smartest girls out of the whole country Tokyo, Japan. The college UCLA accepts them. So kagome's most wonderful life is about to change. She rubs her feet together and thought of guys. She's only 18, but is ready to face a new challenge in life. Kagome yawns and looks at her watch. It is already 12 o'clock in the morning.

'Kagome! It's late, why not sleep?!' yell kagome's mother from downstairs.

"Yes! I'm done packing!" yell kagome back. She pulls her suitcase to the ground. Then turns off the light and crawls into her warm bed.

She sigh with happiness and falls asleep. The next morning, kagome wakes up and rushes out of her bedroom to get ready. Once she is ready, the black Limo is outside waiting for her. kagome hugs her mother good bye and runs off into the limo. sango and kikyo are already inside. kagome scoots next to sango and sigh.

"ready for a new life?" smile sango.

"oh yeah! how 'bout you kikyo?" ask kagome.

'shut up!' yell kikyo uninterested.

kagome and sango talk the whole way to the airport. they walk to their plane. their pilot is old and looks as if he is drunk. when kagome and the other girls are buckled up, the plane lifted and left tokyo, japan.

"i'm going to miss my old life." cry kagome as she looks out her window.

"me too..." cry sango.

after a few hours, kagome wakes up to a loud noise. she looks out her window and sees that it's raining with thunder and lightning.

'HOLD ON TIGHT!' yell the pilot into the microphone.

the plane twisted up and down from side to side. then, there is a loud, huge noise.

"that was a big hit!" said the pilot to the microphone.

the plane went down. and way down to the ground. it's so dark, that now, you can't see a thing.

suddenly, the plane crashes.

the next morning, kagome wakes up to the pain on her shoulder. her shoulder is stabbed with a huge thick glass from the window.

"sango..?" said kagome, "kikyo...?"

"kagome....we're fine..." said sango.

"forget 'bout that! we have to find some food!" yell kikyo.

kagome struggles out of the broken crashed plane and looks outside. sango saw kagome's injure and went worried.

"i'm fine." said kagome under pain.

"we're in the middle of no where!" roar kikyo, "there's no tree, just miles of long brown grasses!"

"maybe a desert?" said sango, "more like a savanna."

"we have to search for food!" yell kikyo. she went ahead. sango helps kagome walk around.
