Labyrinth: By, Ris

This story is based on the movie Labyrinth with David Bowie in it. Anyway I don't own InuYasha. The couple is Sesshomaru and Kagome. So I hope that you guys like it. Oh and some parts in this are sort of going to be like the movie ok.

The Labyrinth

"Give me the child. Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered. I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City, to take back the child that you have stolen. For my will is as strong as yours and my kingdom is as great."

Kagome look up at the sky as she heard that thunder. She looked back down and started to say her liens again.

"For my will is as strong as yours and my kingdom is as great…..Damn I can never remember that line."

She pulled out her little script and flipped it to the line.

"You have no power over me."

As Kagome was getting ready to practice her liens again her alarm on her watch went off and she realized that she had to go and baby-sit her little brother Shippo right now.

All of a sudden it started to rain so she gathered her things and ran home with her cat following behind her. When Kagome got home she noticed that her mother was standing in the doorway and she didn't look all too happy.

"Look mom I'm really sorry that I'm late."

"Kagome you an hour late."

"I said I'm sorry."

"Let me finish. Your father and I go out vary rarely and -"

"You go out every single weekend."

"AND I ask you to baby-sit only if it won't interfere with you plans."

"Well how the fuck would you know, you don't even ask me anymore."

"Well I assume that you would tell me if you had a date, I would like it if you had a ate, you should have date's at you age."

"Ah Kagome your home we were worried about you."

"I can't do anything right can I."

Kagome ran up the stairs to her bedroom and slammed the door shut. Her parents just looked at each other. Her dad headed up the stairs to go and have a talk with her.

"Kagome can I talk to you?"

"There's nothing to talk about. You better hurry or you're going to be late."

"Listen we feed Shippo and put him to bed. We do have to leave now but we'll be back around midnight."

Kagome just ignored her dad and went to lie down on her been when she noticed that one of her stuffed animals were missing so she went into her little brothers room and found it on the floor and her little brother was crying.

"Someone save me, take me away from this fucking place."

Kagome looked over at Shippo and saw that he was looking at her crying.

"What do you want a story? Huh? Ok. Once upon a time there was a beautiful young girl who's mother always made her stay home with the baby, and the baby was a spoiled child and he wanted everything for himself, and the young girl was particle a slave. But what know one knew was that the King of the Goblins had fallen in love with her, and had given her cretin powers. So one night when the baby had been particularly cruel to her, she called on the goblins for help."

"Listen."

"Say the right words the goblins said, and will take the baby to the Goblin City, and you will be free."

*Gasp *

"But the girl knew the King of the Goblins would keep the baby in his castle for ever and ever and ever, and turn it into a goblin and so the girl suffered in silence until one night when she was tired from a day of house work and was hurt by the harsh words that her mother said, and she could no longer stand it. Oh shut up already Shippo, knock it off, come on, stop it, I'll say the words. No I mustn't say."

"Huh!"

"I wish, I wish…"

"Listen"

"She' going to say it!"

"Say what?"

"Quite!"

"Shut up!"

"Sorry."

"SHHHH!"

"Listen she's going to say the words."

"I wish the Goblin King Sesshomaru would come and take you away from here right now. Oh Shippo shut up already."

After Shippo would not shut up Kagome lied him down and turned off the lights. When she turned around to go back to her room she heard that Shippo and stopped crying. She started to get worried so she ran back to his room, but when she got there she noticed that he was gone.

"Shippo! OMG where are you!?"

Kagome started to franticly search the room looking for him when the window was thrown open and in it stood Sesshomaru, King of the Goblins.

"Sesshomaru! Please give me back my brother."

"What's said is said."

"But I didn't mean it."

"Oh you didn't did you?"

"Please I need my brother back, my parents will kill me if he's not here when that get back."

"Kagome go back to your room and forget about the baby."

"I can't."

"I've brought you a gift."

"What is it?"

"It's a crystal, noting more, but if you turn it this way and look into it, it will show you your dreams. It's not a gift for any ordinary girl who takes care of a screaming baby. Do you want it?"

"Yes."

"Then forget about the baby."

"I can't Sesshomaru, I can't, I just really need Shippo back."

"Kagome! Don't defy me."

Sesshomaru turned the ball into a snake and threw it at Kagome, but when it hit her it just turned into a normal cloth.

"Your no match for me Kagome."

"I know but I really need my brother back."

"Fine he's in my castle."

Kagome looked and noticed that his castle was in the center of a labyrinth.

"Do you still want to look for him?"

"Yes, I have to."

"Turn back Kagome before it's to late."

"I can't, don't you understand that I can't."

"What a pity."

"It doesn't look that hard."

Sesshomaru walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered in her ear.

"It's harder that you think. Time is short; you have 13 hours to solve the labyrinth before your baby brother becomes one of us forever…. Such a pity."

After Sesshomaru left Kagome started to walk down the hill in search of the entrance to the labyrinth when she came across and man taking piss in a pond.

"Um excuse me."

"Oh um… sorry, oh it's just you."

"Well I'm glad to see you to InuYasha but um… could you tell me how to get inside the labyrinth?"

"And why should I tell you hmmm?"

"Because I need to get to the castle in the center of it."

"Well fine then you get in through there."

The wall behind Kagome opened up to reveal the entrance to the labyrinth.

"Thanks InuYasha."

"Well just be careful now, don't want you to get lost now."

"Hey InuYasha which way would you go, right or left?"

"Me? Well I wouldn't go any way."

"Well if that's all the help that you're going to be then you can just leave."

"Well fine then see if I ever help you again."

With that said InuYasha walked out of the labyrinth leaving Kagome to herself. Kagome sat there for a while and then she decided to go right. As Kagome was walking she noticed that she couldn't find any opening's anywhere, so she started to run down the path.

After a while she got tired and fell agents the wall.

"A'low."

"Did you just say hello?"

"No I said a'low but that's close enough."

"You're a worm aren't you?"

"Yeah S'right."

"You wouldn't know the way to the center of the labyrinth would you?"

"Who me? Naw I'm just a worm."

"Oh."

"Come inside and meet the misses."

"No thank you, I have to solve this labyrinth and I can't find any openings anywhere."

"Well you ain't looking right, it's full of openings."

"Well where are they?"

"There's one right in front of you."

"No there isn't."

"Come inside and have a cup of tea."

"But there's no opening."

"Well of course there is, you try walking threw it, you'll see what I mean."

"What?"

"Go on, go on then."

"But it's just a wall there's know way threw it."

"Things are not always what they seem in this place, so you can't take anything for granted."

Kagome took the worms advice and started to walk towards the wall.

"Hey it really is an opening. Thanks a lot."

Kagome started heading to her left when the worm called out to her.

"Hey hang on."

"What?"

"Don't o that way, never go that way."

"Oh, ok thanks."

"Aww should have kept on going down that way, she would have gone strait to that castle."

As Kagome was walking she heard her little brother Shippo crying.

"I'm coming Shippo, just hold on."

Shippo was with Sesshomaru in his lap when the goblins were trying to cheer him up with a song. While the goblins started to sing Kagome was wondering around trying to follow the sound of the music that was being played.

Sesshomaru looked at his clock and just smirked to himself and then whispered into Shippo's ear.

"In 9 hours and 23 minuets you'll be mine."

He just started to laugh as he turned his attention back to his goblins that were trying to make the baby laugh.

Kagome looked back down at one of her marks and noticed that her marks had been changed. When she looked up she saw two doors that were being guarded by some wired creatures. They told her that she could only ask one of then which door was the one that lead to the castle because the other one lead to certain death.

When she chose one of the doors she fell down into an oblate, and it was so dark that she couldn't see her hand in front of her face, that's when she heard some foot steps.

Sesshomaru had been looking into one of his crystal balls and noticing that she had gotten farther that he would had thought she would.

"Who' there?"

"It's just me Kagome."

"Oh hey InuYasha."

"I just knew that you were going to get into trouble."

"And what's that supposed to mead? Hmm wait never mind, do you know a way out of here?"

"Yes but why should I show you?"

"Because I'll give you a necklace."

"What's it made out of?"

"Gold."

"Oh ok I'll take it."

Once InuYasha took the necklace he showed Kagome the way out. When they were walking around InuYasha noticed that one of Sesshomaru's balls rolled past them.

"Ah what o we have here?"

"Um… nothing."

"Nothing, Nothing, tralala."

"Sesshomaru-sama what a nice surprise."

"Hello InuYasha. InuYasha can it be that you're helping this girl?"

"H-helping in what sense?"

"In the sense that you're leading her towards that castle."

"No. No I was taking her back to the beginning just like you told me to do."

"What!"

"Kagome how are you enjoying my labyrinth?"

"It's a piece of cake."

"Really, then how about upping the stakes a little." Sesshomaru sped up the time.

"That's not fair!"

"You say that so often I wonder what your basses for comparison is. So the labyrinth is a piece of cake is it? Well I want to see how you fair with this little slice."

Sesshomaru threw one of his balls and it turned into one of these metal rolling ball with knives all over and spear points all around it. Kagome and InuYasha started running when Kagome found on opening with a ladder.

Kagome and InuYasha started to climb up it when they came out of the top of this huge pot. Once they got out of the pot they started walking when they heard a loud growl. Once InuYasha heard that he took off running in the other direction.

Kagome just shook her head at InuYasha as she went to go and check it out. When she got there she saw that Sesshomaru's goblins were attacking a young man that was tied upside down. Kagome started to throw rocks at their helmets so that they couldn't see and started to attack each other.

After they ran off she went to help him. When she untied him she forgot that he was tied upside down so he landed on his head.

"Oh are you alright?"

"I'm fine now thanks."

"Ok by the way I've never seen you here before, my name is Kagome what's yours?"

"Hi Kagome my name is Miroku and this is my first time in this labyrinth."

"Oh ok well do you want to travel with me to the Goblin King's castle at the center of this labyrinth."

"Sure why not I have nothing better to do."

As Kagome and Miroku started walking into the forest, Miroku got a bad feeling.

"Um… Kagome I don't think that we- AHHHH!"

"Miroku? Miroku where are you?"

Kagome started running when she ran into InuYasha. InuYasha didn't know what he ran into he was in deep thought of what he had talked to Sesshomaru about and what he gave him to give to Kagome.

"Oh I'm sorry InuYasha I wasn't looking to see where I was going."

"It's ok Kagome I wasn't paying attention either."

"Hey InuYasha can you help find my new friend Miroku?"

"Sure why not."

Once InuYasha and Kagome started walking they both fell and landed on top of Miroku.

"Miroku!"

"Kagome I thought that I would never find you."

"Oh Miroku this is InuYasha, InuYasha this is Miroku."

"Hey InuYasha."

"Hi."

"Hey guys there's a bridge over there lets go."

InuYasha, Miroku, and Kagome started to head to the bridge when they ran into Sango.

"Hey Sango, how have you been?"

"I've been fine Kagome, Hi InuYasha, and who is this?" Sango said with a look at Miroku.

"Oh this is Miroku he's new here."

"I see ok well I'm Sango it's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you to Sango."

"Hey Sango do you want to come with us an help us get to the Goblin Kings castle?"

"Sure I would love to come along."

So they all left and started to head to the Goblin City. On the way there InuYasha pulled Kagome aside to give her the peach that Sesshomaru gave to him. When InuYasha gave Kagome the peach she fainted and InuYasha ran away from her.

Kagome had a dream of a bunch of people dancing when she spotted Sesshomaru in the crowd, she tried to reach him but when she got close enough to him he disappeared right in front of her. She searched all over the place for him.

When she finally found him he grabbed her around the waist and started to dance with her. As she was dancing with him she stared up into his eyes and just got lost in them. Sesshomaru started to move closer towards her. He was now and inch away from her lips when he leaned down and gave her a passionate kiss. Kagome leaned into the kiss and Sesshomaru deepened it.

Kagome broke away when she realized that this was all just a dream. When she woke up she saw Sango and Miroku leaning over her with concern writen on their faces. When Kagome sat up she noticed that they were in front of the city gates.

She stood up and ran to the gates with Sango and Miroku right behind her. When they got there they noticed that InuYasha was already there fighting this machine. Sango and Miroku stepped in and helped InuYasha fight it.

Once they were done fighting they headed towards the castle. When they got there Kagome told them that she had to do this alone. So they let her go but told her that if she needed help all she had to do was call and they would come.

Once she got there she saw Sesshomaru sitting here with Shippo in his lap.

"Sesshomaru give me back the child."

"Kagome beware, I have been generous up till now but I can be cruel."

"Generous, what have you done that's generous?"

"Everything! Everything that you wanted I have done, you wanted the child to be taken, I took him. You cowered before me I was freighting. I have re-ordered time. I have turned the world upside down and I've done it all foe you. I'm exhausted for living up to your expectations, isn't that generous?"

"Sessho it is generous of you but I need Shippo back or my parents will kill me."

"Wait, look Kagome, look what I'm offering you, your dreams."

"But-"

"I ask for so little, just let me rule you, and you can have everything that you want."

"What?!"

"Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I'll be your slave."

"You know what Sessho, just screw it. I want to be with you forever, but you have to do one more thing for me."

While Kagome was talking Sesshomaru had wrapped his arms around her waist and held her against his chest.

"What is it Koi?"

"Well maybe two things, one give the child back to my parents and second…."

Kagome leaned up and kissed Sesshomaru passionately on the lips. Sesshomaru just smirked into the kiss and deepened it. They broke apart or air and just smiled at each other. Sesshomaru and Kagome headed back to her house and left Shippo in his bed.

Kagome went to her room and wrote down a note for her parents:

Dear Mom and Dad,

I just wanted you to know that you will never see me again or I have gone to live with my Koi and I shall never see you again so good-bye forever.

With Love,

Kagome

Kagome walked back to Shippo's room and left the note there. When she turned around she saw Sesshomaru sitting down with a sleeping Shippo in his arms. Kagome just smiled at him and he smiled back.

Sesshomaru Went to put Shippo back into his crib, once Shippo was ticked in he turned around and wrapped his arms around Kagome's waist.

"Ready to go koi?"

"I'm ready. Let's go home."

With that said they shared a passionate and lust filled kiss, then they disappeared forever.
