AN: I wrote this bad poem in math class -.-;; it may not be my best. This is on what might have been running through the Midoriko's head on her last day of life.

 

 

Last Thoughts

 

I did not ask for this

I've been called the strongest human of this time

But I am just a girl really

I do not know why I have the power to

Purify these demonic souls, but I shall

Until the day I breathe no more

 

I've been fighting for six nights

Seven days, and this is the seventh night

Gods help me, I must run

I go towards the cave

In the demon slayer village

I must hurry, and prepare my attack

 

“WAIT KIRARA! GO BACK! GO!”

This will be the hardest part

I send her off, telling her to run

Kirara, forgive me, I have lied

I told you I'd meet you once it was over

Goodbye my faithful friend

 

No, this is not possible

How can they, how do they

The demons, they have become one

I must battle on, they cannot win

I collect my energy, I take aim

 

 

Pain . . .

 

I have been wounded

A cheap shot through my chest

I feel my energy leave me

“NO! It cannot end like this!”

I am sorry Kirara . . .

 

What is that light?
