They had agreed to wait, until everything with the jewel was cleared up. Having a mate with you in battle can be very dangerous, and neither wanted to take a chance that they didn't have to. They would wait until the time was right.

 

But now he didn't know if she would still accept him. So he tried. He cautiously entered her room. Just as he did a paperball hit his head. She had thrown it over her shoulder, not realizing he was there and he opened it, here it what it said:
