Summary : Both InuYasha and Kagome have known they have been in love with each other for a long time. But neither would say anything in fear of being hurt like they had in the past.

Kagome walked through the high school door way.
<Never let down my guard>
She was heart broken again. Her boyfriend Kouga had once more made her feel lowly and like a fool.
His words rang in her head "Kagome you damn whore....what good are you?" he yelled in front of the school.
She turned and ran ..he had embarassed her for not sleeping with him.
Kouga Wolfe was the most popular guy and every girl wanted a peice of him, as well as every guy wanted to be him.
Kagome was just another pawn, another girl he thought would let him fuck her. But Kagome was different she refused him and when she did he embarrassed her.
<Closed the curtain on my heart
So the world could not see>
Honestly she knew she hated him. But she could never bring herself to get revenge.

Then came InuYasha, her best friend through everything.
Well Sango and her boyfriend Miroku were excpetions.
They were very close to her too, but not as close as InuYasha.
She even told him when her period was so he would know when to bring in the chocolate and steer clear.
The only reason he knew was from a funny accident.

Kagome came in as pissed as ever.
She was clutching her stomache for dear life.
She hadn't had her pads or even a tampon with her so she ran home.
and to make matters worse she bled through her pants, wich were white.
InuYasha cam running in and screamed when he smelled the blood on her.
"Kagome..where are you bleeding ...quick we need to bandage you."
He began searching her body.
"OSUWARI" she laughed almost.
InuYasha got up .
"Kagome what was that for?"
"InuYasha this is nothing to worry you " she said almost hysterically.
Then she cluthced her stomache in pain and tears ran down her cheeks.
"Kagome..whats wrong....are..are. you ok??"
"I'm fine"
"Then why are you holding your stomache??? why are you crying"
"Its personal"
"Kagome..you tell me everything"
Now feeling irritated at his bad timing for being oblivious she yelled.
"I'M ON MY PERIOD NIMROD!!"
a blush formed over his face.
<Then you showed me how wrong I could be>
"Is there anything I can do to help??"
"Chocolate..lots of it...and pamprin....and tear jerkers please."
"K be back in a few." he kissed her on the forehead and left.
They stayed up all that night watching the movies and eating chocolate.
InuYasha held her in his arms for comfort.

Now there was nothing he could do to help her. she was in pain and he couldnt help. other then kick that dumb wolfs ass.
InuYasha searched the school up and down till he found him kissing some hoe that used to be his girlfriend ,Kikyo.
"Well well well , seems you couldn't get lucky with a woman so you go to a wannabe.." Kikyo looked as though she had been slapped
"Well mutt its not like you can say anything..seems I stole your woman ..twice."
"Twice?"
"Higurashi...You love her ..you know it"
Kagome just happened to over hear and walked in

Kouga glared and stould up.
"You wanna dance mutt ...lets dance." he threatend
"Ok get your tutu wolf."
Kouga ran at him, claws extended
before anything could happen,Kagome jumped in front of him.
"STOP!!!" she screamed

"Move wench" he ordered
"NO" she cried
InuYasha placed his hand on her shoulder
"Kagome..move..I don't want you hurt"
"I don't want you hurt either now come on or I'll have to say it"

She turned around and grasped his shirt in her fist.

He meerly glared
They walked out
"Kagome why were you crying back there?"
"I ..I ..I didn't wanna see someone I'm so close to get hurt.

"InuYasha did you mean it...what you said back there?"
she asked..his grasped on her tightend
"Yea why?"

she looked hopefully at him.
