Okay, hey. :D This is one of my first attempts at a fanfic. >.I figured I would start off with an anime whose characters I know, so that way it would be easier for me. Inuyasha isn't exactly my favorite, but I think its a good first pick. :)
I'm sorry if the characters seem a little off- I don't exactly watch t.v. anymore and I havn't been in tune with fanfics lately. :D I just got my computer back.~Yay!~
Constructive critisism is welcome and encouraged.

It was hot. Really hot. She could feel the perspiration running down her face and neck, staining the collar and armpits of her shirt. She felt disgusting and sweaty, and she stunck. It wouldn't surprise her if Inuyasha said he could smell her plumb across Japan.
There was absolutely no breeze, and the shade of the tree didn't help any at all.
She looked up at the trees long branches. There, Inuyasha sat in his favorite branch of the sacred tree. Asleep. She sighed.
She looked down at her lap, where her algebra textbook lay open...She was supposed to be studying. She closed the taunting book and sat it to the side. She had to return to her own time on Monday for the final exams, and it was already Wednesday. That left her six days. Six days to be near Inuyasha, to cuddle with Shippo and to laugh and spend time with her freinds. And then she would be away from them all for two weeks.
She felt as if it was the end of the world.
As if on cue, Inuyasha was crouching beside her and wiggling his cute little ears at her. She would have giggled if she were in a happier mood. Yes, Inuyasha looked for all the world like a cute little puppy. She remembered one time when she had informed him of so, and in turn recieved an angry Inuyasha and a string of curses that left her bewildered. She honestly didn't understand why it bothered him so much. I mean, yeah, looking like a puppy doesn't normally make you a feared opponent in the world, but it's not like he was getting all doey eyed at his opponents, flattening his ears, tilting his head or whining. She would probably faint if she saw him do any of those.
"Whatcha thinkin' about?"
She was interupted from her thoughts by his gruff, but gentle and somewhat concerned voice. She could've just melted right there on the spot. And she probably would have, considering the blistering rays of the sun and the heat from Inuyasha's body...But she didn't. Instead she just drew in a deep breath and looked him in the eye.
"You," she said.

Okay, well, I decided to stop here for now. I really dunno where I'm getting with this fic.
I don't think the title really matters at this point, and it just might change a few times before I'm done with the fic in general. I PLAN on making the chapters longer, but I dunno. I'm considerably lazy.....So, yeah, whatever. Anywho, as I said before, constructive critisism is welcome and strongly encouraged. Sooo...Yeah....Review, please. I could really use the support.
Edit: I redid this chapter. I decided that the first few scenes should just be Kagome and Inuyasha. I'll get to the other characters in a bit.
