Disclaimer::Sadly, I don't own Inuyasha because if I did then I wouldn't have to worry about not having a cell phone...aha! But i do own Maemi!
Maemi character looks are based on this person, heres a image of her, its a character from Dyanasty Warriors video game which, nope, I don't own that either: http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/8273/zhenji9ub.png thats the image url, copy n paste if you want but I just wanted to point out that that is what she kinda, ki-i-i-i-nda, looks like. :)
This means that at the end there will be a definition of what is underlined, this usually means that they is being sarcastic, or that they are speaking a in a very icy or dangerous tone. Bolded words are usually there if someone is screaming something.
Mystery Character:
"There is a truth to every lie that is made, but is there a lie to everything that is true? Is there truly a difference between the two, or is a lie more false it is true, but the truth is more true with some a lie? Sometimes, it takes time to know. . ."
Flower petals fluttered towards the ground then shot back up from the power that the two combatants were emitting.
A woman leaned against the tree as if she hadn't a care in the world while an arrogant man gazed at her.
Twice. The second time that the same man had seeked her out to make him his, she grew tired of his admiring and shifted so that her back was facing the oak tree, then felt her lips twitch into a grin. 'Can't help it if I like to kill', she thought before searching around with her blood red eyes for a emotion in him, only to find the usual power hunger and arrogance that was always in him, deciding that it was time that this was done and over with her eyes glowed red as she called out to the power fused in her blood.
Maemi felt the flow of power running through her finger tips and pointed her delicate, deadly fingers at the foe before whispering in a cold voice.
"Die."
Her silky black bangs flew helplessly around her sun kissed face as a gold glow ran through her fingertips and shot out at the enemy, weaving through the air as if they had a mind of thier own. "A pity", she mummered to herself, as she watch her prey shriek in rage as the gold whip lashed out at him, "he's a handsome one." His equally red eyes darted over to hers, filled with more self cofidence as he quirked an eyebrow and grinned, only to go still when one of her whips wrapped around his neck and squeezed the life out of him. He choked on his air and gagged, his body went limp and his eyes changed into a dull red, lifeless.
Once his body was useless Maemi called the weapon back to her. The whip that had strangled and killed the fool unwrapped from his neck, his body fell to the ground with a thud. It flew back to her palm, the others doing the same while she tried to calm her mind from the anger with in herself.
'You need to kill his soul or he will keep coming back!' Her inner voice told her coldly.
'He intrests me, this Naraku, how far he will go just to have power.'
'That sorry excuse won't work with me, I am you, and me being you, I know that you would have slaughtered him once he set eyes on you.' It snapped back.
Maemi laughed then leaned back against the old wood of the oak tree she was resting in before, some things never changed, and being scolded by her own self seemed to be one of them. 'Its funny', she thought, closing off the voice and its yelling, 'that though I try as hard as I can, and I do as i need, yet my real self is never pleased.' She smirked and crossed her arms over her chest, "Naraku. . .a strange being you are" Maemi said to the floating black orb next to her that had risen from his body. Her eyes connected with were the orbs eyes would be, if it had eyes that is. She could feel the anger radiating off him in waves, each on crashing down on her only to be blocked out of her mind,
"Don't be mad Naraku, just stop using that mirror of yours to stare at me and you just might have had a chance to have a place in my heart. I think that all hope of that is gone now though, since i've seen how arrogant and pride filled you really are once complimented."
Maemi heard a muffled sob come from the woods. She narrowed her eyes and told Naraku's orb to stay were he was.
"Sango whats wrong?!" She heard a panicked girls voice shriek, Maemi became irritated at how annoying the voice was.
"Naraku. .h-he is dead!!" The other girls voice said, Sango, Maemi guessed.
"Feh! What are you talking about Sango, why would--"
"Why would Naraku be dead, hanyou? Because, i, have killed him." Maemi walked gracefully into the clearing in all her glory.
She saw the inu hanyou tense, before his sense of pride took over. She was slightly offended of the fact that he had foolishly stared at her, Maemi glared at him through narrowed eyes before placing both hands on her hips, smirked, and waited for him to try and take her power. To make her love him, then to betray her and walk off with her heartbroken. He never tried. He just placed repeated her actions by narrowing his eyes, placed both hands on his hips, and gave a wide smirk. She rolled her eyes. He gave a girly huff sound and rolled his eyes dramatically.
"I grow tired of your childish antics" He stopped repeating her every actions and placed his hand on the hilt of Tetsuiga, becoming suprisingly serious.
It worked. She was suprised.
"How did you kill Naraku?!" She sighed and started to turn the other way when he ran at her and grabbed her arm. He pulled her back towards him, then paused when her eyes connected with his, the red flashed bright at him dangerously and he backed away.
"I suggest that you watch where you put your hands filthy dog."She snapped at him, he growled in response, 'Even more irratating' Maemi thought to herself.
"Do you always make the members of your little group watch and you do all the talking hanyou? Because it seems that they are slighty annoyed that you have left them out." The hanyou walked back a few paces and glanced around at his friends.
Sango was relieved, but very mad that Inuyasha was treating someone who had done them a great favor and killed Naraku with no respect. But she didn't know if she would, and could, believe that it was finally over.
Miroku was looking over the mysterious, and obviously dangerous, woman. Deep black hair with almost a blue hue to it was put up in a bun, it was held up with two, gold dragon decorated pins. Her tan face had two red eyes that were decorated with purple eyeshadow like markings, her lips were coated with purple lip stick and had a deep purple outline to them. Two silky bangs framed her face and added a hint of mystery to her. But the clothing she wore blew him away.
Her top was a dark purple, almost blue or black; he couldn't tell, it was tight and stopped at her stomach, gold trimmed the bottom of her shirt. Her skirt had a slit up the middle and stopped so that she could move easily without having to struggle, making the skirt look more like pants. Her sleeves were see through and had the same gold trimming to them. A chunky silver bracelet could be seen under it, Miroku tried to figure out why that seemed to strike his attention when there was so much else he could look at.
Kagome, on the other hand, was trying to control herself from screaming at the woman for trying to seduce her Inuyasha by wearing such revealing clothes. Shippo was back at camp.
Miroku walked up to the woman and decided against holding her hand, after seeing the look she gave Inuyasha for touching her shoulder and began his speech.
"My dear lady, it would be a pleasure if.." he said, looking up at her face. He was startled that he saw anger in the womans eyes, he hadn't even asked yet. "a-and...nevermind. Forget i said that." He ended. So much for his 'speech'.
Boredness was getting the best of Maemi, they hadn't said a word and she wasn't going to not let them not speak.
"I am Maemi, if you would like, call me Mai, i do not care. I do care about" she glanced at the hanyou, slayer, monk, and girl, "who you are."
"This is Miroku, Sango, Inuyasha, and im Kagome." The cheery girl in a green skirt and white shirt answered. Maemi groaned,
'Quite the annoying voice.' She thought in irratation.
"Well, seeing as we all know eachother, why don't we all discuss what happened with Naraku?" Miroku answered before shifting nervously, still shocked at the fact that Maemi could strike fear in him.
"Yes, why dont we.." Maemi said with annoyance showing in her voice. She turned on the heel of her boots and started walking across the spring grass of the meadow towards the oak tree, and like she had asked, Naraku's spirit orb was still thier, it was hiding in the grass but didn't seem to acknowledge that she knew he was there.
"Come out, come out, where ever you are Naraku" She whispered in a voice softly, no one heard. And no one saw either when his spirit orb came out from the grass, Maemi rolled her eyes at the arrogance that was still thier. She glanced back and saw that Inuyasha had his eyes narrowed at her, trying to scare Maemi but failing horribly at it. She crossed her arms and upon reaching the oak tree plopped down on the grass and waited for them to come, trying to stop herself from yelling, 'Get your asses over here!'
Some people could be so annoying, or they could be annoyingly attractive. She smirked at Naraku's spirit orb, 'Him being one of the annoyingly attractive ones' Maemi growled at him when she could almost see him smirking back, "Forgot spirit orbs could read minds. Sorry about that, next time i'll insult instead of encourage." Maemi snapped back at the invisible response that she knew he would have said.
Inuyasha's group stared at Maemi while she continued glaring through narrowed eyes at a floating. . .a floating orb?
"A spirit orb. .!" Miroku gasped at its color, "Black, its black! Stand back everyone!" Maemi tried to hold back the urge to howl with laughter at the fear struck look on his face.
"It's a friend of mine and if you do but one thing to insult it, You. Will. Be. Dead." Maemi whispered back coldly while her eyes flashed red, as if they were danger signals. 'I insult you Naraku and I alone. Just what made you hated by so many?' She thought to Naraku, he could understand her because of the form he was in. 'Oh goodness...stop smirking like a fool Naraku..' She sighed when she sensed that he had a big, goofy looking grin on his face right now, and it was caused by his over ruling pride and the thought that she desired him. And, that was definatly, not, the case! Everyone, except Naraku and Meami, were frightened by the fact that she had defended a spirit orb, a black spirit orb.
"When a spirit orb is black, Meami, it means that it holds a great deal of evil in it, do you know that, that is what you are guarding?" Miroku said after he sat down on the grass, the others sitting down also. She glared at him. "I know very well what I am guarding and i do not intend on not guarding it anytime soon. Now. I have no patience for your speeches, you want to know about Naraku, and i will tell you about Naraku." Another icy response was made from Meami, her patience was indeed getting low. The whole group worked her patience away though, Kagome with her annoying voice, Inuyasha the child in a hanyou body, Sango, the human girl who tried to look tough, and Miroku, with his constant warnings and questions. Yes, the group was quite annoying.
"But, Mia, all i want to know is if you killed Naraku?" Kagome spoke in before she could continue. it
"I was getting to that" Maemi told her, sure that Kagome saw her heated glare. "As i was saying. I was sleeping against the tree when i felt a evil, evil presense in the meadow. I immediatly woke up. The next thing i knew, Naraku was holding me against the tree by the neck, so, I summoned a whip and i fought. But Naraku let his pride get the best of him and, i won. Oh, it was a tough battle" she said with a sneer, making sure that Naraku heard the sarcasm in her voice, saw the amusment in her eyes. He did, but so did Inuyasha and the others, and they saw that she looked over at the evil spirit orb. Miroku got suspicious then.
"Maeni, why is it that you keep looking at that orb when you speak about Naraku; not the orb? Unless. .unless the orb is Naraku itself?" Maeni almost laughed at the suspicous look on his face; head turned slightly to the right, eyes narrowed and grim, with a small frown on his lips. 'A true monk', she thought to herself, 'But can he see through lies or is he to trusting?' She thought more to Naraku this time. A lie, what could be a good excuse? Not that she needed excuses, no she could just tell them the truth, that it is Naraku. But that would be to fast, no she would tell them. . .in a while.
"Ah, well. I use this orb as my power source.." Meami lied, not showing a hint of guilt on her face, and not feeling guilt either. Sango tried to tell herself that Naraku is dead, and that there was proof just on the ground; his body. It didn't work, it just caused more excuses as to why he couldn't be dead, because if he were dead, that means Kohaku is also dead. 'No. Naraku isn't dead, he can't be, and there is evidence that he isn't', Sango thought to her self, dtermined to prove it to herself. And others.
"You see," Maeni continued on with a grin, "since this is my power source, i looked at it as to say that it did a good job, because the battle wasn't all that hard." This time she did laugh when some of the pride was filled in with anger. "And i laugh now because, since its a spirit orb, it can hear my thoughts and words. And i can almost see the look on its, no his face right now when i said that it wasn't hard: pride filled, arrogant, and possibly, dare i say, angry?" She said as there faces registered up to confusion, she chuckled and tried to keep from insulting Naraku more.
"Maemi; i have never heard of a orb being used as a power source, care to explain it to me? It always helps to know new things.."
Sango said before scooting closer to hear more, even though Maemi spoke in a high, commanding voice all the time.
"Well Sango, this is a special kind of orb, a more powerful kind. Watch and observe.." Meami said. She lowered herself to the ground where Naraku was and leaned on one elbow, just staring at the face that she shouldn't be able to see. His eyes were fixed to hers while he still had a small grin, a eyebrow arched, as if to say, 'Powerful and special, annoyingly attractive, and if anyone touches me thier dead?' She grimaced at saying those things, or thinking, and wrapped her hand around the orb, careful not to squeeze it. She looked at the suspicious eyes of Inuyasha, the curious eyes of Sango and Kagome, the learning eyes of Miroku, then called up her power to unleash her 'Golden Whips', she liked to call them. Energy burst through her fingernails once again as it took the form of whips, her eyes glew red once again, also. Everyone was shocked, Maemi didn't know why though.
The whips floated freely through the air and wondered where they willed as they were admired by the watchers, one twirled to show off while the flew over to Inuyasha. He sniffed it and glanced from the whip to Maemi and back again.
"Is thier something that i should know about my whips our are you just shocked?" Maemi said plainly as she watched Naraku's orb with a quirked eyebrow, hand on her chin while she twirled the whip on her left index finger around from boredom. Everyone gasped.
"Sesshoumaru!!" Inuyasha shouted before jumping up from the ground and pulling Tetsuiga from its seath. He lifted the fang above his head and found the place were the winds collide. He began shouting the attack while everyone held there breaths except Maemi, Inuyasha and Naraku. She shot her left index finger whip over to him and it coiled itself around his wrist.
"I have no idea what your talking about, little boy, but you have no reason to be swinging that sword at me like im an enemy" She glared at him when he tried to free the whip from his wrist, she tightend it, "but maybe one of you could tell me?!" She stared at the shocked monk and slayer, not even bothering to look at Kagome.
"We couldn't help but notice the resemblance of your weapon to the weapon of the Lord Of The Western Lands, Sesshoumaru. Inuyasha is his younger brother, and apparently, they don't like eachother because Sesshoumaru is full demon, while Inuyasha, is half." Kagome answered, trying to keep from yelling at Maemi for even touching him with her whip.
"Well there is no connection at all, and i don't care who Inuyasha is" she shrugged and pulled back the whips into her body, Inuyasha mumbled a 'Feh' and seathed Tetsuigia again, then jumped into the high branch of a tree. He looked down at the woman that was a threat to them all. If she got her hands on the Shikon Jewel. . .Something roared in the sky.
Kirara flew down with Shippo on her back, the fire neko landed softly on the ground then snapped its head to the right; looking straight at the woman sitting next to the orb. She felt like she was about to be found out and decided that she didn't have a chose of what to do next, just do what she always did in her case: tell the truth, and then lie, ofcourse.
Shippo hopped down and ran to Kagome, then hugged her and yelled "Mama!!"
"Shippo, are you okay?? Im sorry that we didn't come back earlier!"
Tears welled up in the kitsune's eyes.
"Oh mama i thought that Naraku might have done something, or that you got hurt!! Hey who is that evil lady over thier??"
Shippo froze when he saw the 'evil lady's' glare, looking straight at him. He wailed and hopped behind Kagome, then began digging his claws into her shirt. Kagome looked from Shippo to Inuyasha to Maemi, then began glowing a neon blue. "Dont you hurt my Shippo!!" She sent a small energy ball her way while it hit a invisible barrier around Maemi, who stood smirking and was looking at Inuyasha in the eyes. "Don't you think its time to call off your mate, hanyou?" She smirk turned into a wide grin when she saw his face turn red along with Kagome's. He turned to the priestess in training. "Kagome, Shippo, Sango, why don't we all go head back to camp for a while. We need to discuss something." Everyone looked towards Miroku then to Inuyasha.
"Inuyasha, have i done something to anger you, or do you not like me anymore??" He questioned, hurt that Inuyasha, his greatest friend, would ever think to leave him behind. Then he saw the feelings in his eyes; the monk nodded quickly and looked to the woman that was idly staring at the evil spirit orb, softness yet a guarded exspression in her eyes, eyebrows arched in confusion and frustrastion. He'd never seen such an amusing sight.
When he turned his head back to where the others were standing, he only saw a red speck hopping through the forest and a cat youkia flying through the air with two girls on its back, he smiled softly when his eyes landed on Sango. Guilt coursed through him as he thought about how he would love to start a family, with her and her alone, he was sure of that. But he couldn't now, Naraku still lived, and he also had the same proof as Sango. Miroku sighed quietly then groaned when he noticed the mysterious woman was staring at him, taking note of his every move, except this time, with a slight hint of confusion and sadness settled in her eyes. A very mysterious woman. . .
"You love her, don't you?" His eyes went wide when he heard the question, shocked that someone really knew.
He couldn't find the right words for it.
"Love doesn't explain even half of it, i adore her, love her, which ever you would like to call it."
'Why?' He thought, 'Why am i telling this to a complete stranger?' She frowned and looked once again at the orb, all signs of life seemed to freeze around the two when she frowned. The cursed monk felt another pang of guilt hit him when he saw the depression and sorrow that came off her in waves.
Maemi laughed a hollow laugh, thought over what the monk had just said.
'Love doesn't explain the half of it. Your right monk. The other half is power, want, and the need to own something as thier own. Love, thier really isn't a definition because love doesn't exist.' She forgot completly that Naraku could hear what she was think, heck, she didn't care. 'You can leave now, Naraku.' She thought after closing her eyes, just wanting to close off all the painful memories that seemed to crawl in every corner of her mind. Maemi felt a slight nudge on her arm and stared down at the nudger. It was. . .
'Naraku..?' She shuddered slightly as she felt the orb of Naraku settle down on her shoulder, the feeling of evil raised the the hairs on her neck. "Dammit" She muttered before walking off towards the woods, "Monk, tell your friends that i will help on your shard hunt" Her look softened a bit when she saw his look of confusion, "I saw the jewel shards on the girl, do not worry i do not wish for more power." Memia felt tension in her mind once again before muttering, "I have enough already, dammit.." And with that, she was gone, in the blink of an eye.
orb- the spirit of someone, when someone is dead, thier soul and body is dead. But if only thier body is dead and soul is alive, then the soul floats out of the body and wonders freely around until its time has run out, the amount of time it has is determined on how powerful the soul and how willing it is to live. A spirit orb has the ability to read minds but cannot answer back.
black orb- the color of the orb determines how the spirit was in the body, or in other words, it says the type of person it was. So, an evil orb is black, a normal orb is pink, and a good, or pure orb is blue. None of the words or definitions are based on religious beliefs i believe in, i just kinda made it up as i went on.
++++Back at camp+++
Inuyasha watched as Kagome, his Kagome, poured water over the open water and set the bucket down on the dirt. She closed her eyes for a few seconds and seemed to be deciding something, 'I wonder what?' Inuyasha thought. He she wasn't thinking about Kikyo and his relationship, as much as he wanted to tell her that there wasn't a relationship to talk or think about anymore. And as much as he wanted to make a relationship of thier own, he knew that she only felt a close friendship between themselves.
"Sit boy!!" Kagome screamed from beneath the tree branch that he sat in. He pummeled down from the branch and became friends with Mr. Dirt for who knows how many times. "You were thinking about her weren't you Inuyasha?!" His dog ears twitched nervously from being caught red handed before standing quickly, before she could notice the guilt on his face.
"Kagome i think that we have more important matters on our hands?" Sango said after sighing, she was really growing tired of thier constant bickering. How come they couldn't just fess up about thier feelings for eachother? She grimaced, that wasn't completly right because she had yet to admit her own feelings.
"Yes Kagome, Inuyasha. We have more important matters right now." The three turned at the new voice, Miroku, he had just walked up from the path to camp to see them fighting as usual. He wouldn't look at Sango in the eyes, which frightened her.
"I am guessing that you will all be pleased that we have a new shard hunter to join our group." The slayer and hanyou's eyes got wide as Kagome began to become jealous, that Maemi would steal her Inuyasha away. "Who the fuck said that?!" Inuyasha yelled, infuriated that he decided something without his consent. "I thought it would be obvious" Miroku said with a wary sigh.
"Maemi said it Inuyasha. She also said that she does not wish for anymore power, that she already has enough power."
Kagome gasped.
"But..how did she know?" Panick lit in Kagome's eyes, how did she know?
"She said that she saw the jewel shards on Kagome, but you had them in your 'backpack', i think you call it, so i think she meant more sense then saw. So. .i believe that if she truly wanted the shards, she easily could have tooken them and take down any of us who stood in our way."
Inuyasha growled loudly while he tried to control himself from yelling at the baka monk, "That is that damn problem!! You saw what she did to Naraku! And he alone was hard enough for us!" He admitted painfully, it took a bit of his dog demon pride that he had to admit it was hard, "That girl didn't get a scratch it the entire battle you baka!"
The monk twitched slightly and raised the staff in his hand above his head, "She said that she was held" He brought the staff down on the inu hanyou's head, not to hard though. "against a tree by him." Inuyasha groaned slightly then snatched the staff from Miroku's right hand, 'his right hand!!' Inuyasha thought.
"Take off the prayer beads and the glove Miroku!" he shouted, startling the others of his request.
"Inuyasha are you crazy??" Kagome squeeked as she saw Miroku starting to take off the beads and covering, he gasped.
It was there. The Wind Tunnel was still there! He was about to cover it back up when he noticed that his palm was facing towards his own face. He felt himself being pulled closer towards the hole as the jingling of his staff was heard from the strong gusts of wind.
He groaned slightly when he felt the covering being pulled back up forcefully along with the prayer beads being yanked back down, he only caught the glimpse of red eyes before feeling a rushed wind and was forced to close his eyes, when he opened them; the person was gone.
He gasped as realization hit him. "Mia. ."
Mia- earlier on Maenie said that, "I'm Maenie, or Mia, i don't care what you call me" so now that Miroku knows he can trust her, he has taken to using the nickname. Kagome has done so a few times, but i just did that to show that Kagome is a very trusting person. By the way, Maenie is pronounced Ma-eh-ne and Mia would be pronounced Me-ah, okay. .:) Im going to start using the name Mia now instead of Maeni.
+++Earlier on in the forest, at the river+++
Mia stared at the perfect reflection in the river's water before gasping and jumping back. She saw his reflection in the water!
"Naraku?! ...Where are you Naraku?" Her eyes narrowed as she scanned the grassy landscape to the tree's, noticed that the black spirit orb of his had dissapeared. She huffed and sat down Indian Style, then crossed her arms over her chest. Still attempting to find Naraku, she looked everywhere; but the trees, and that mistake made his plan work.
Naraku watched carefully for a chance to jump, he saw it when she was turned away from him, sitting down. He pushed off the ground with his foot and moved in a quick blur over to her.
She sensed something coming towards her and put up a barrier to block any attacks. When she didn't hear and attack Mia turned around swiftly and noticed that instead of Naraku's orb but Naraku's body, she shuddered.
'Damn it!!'
'Why does he have that effect on you?'
'I don't know and, certainly, don't want to know!'
' Well while you fail to admit it; i won't. You, Maeni, are attracted to him! Admit it! Say: I. Am. Attracted. To. Him.'
Savage anger flooded through Mia's body, not mad at anyone but her own self. Her other self. The one that haunted her, that seemed to lurk in every corner of her thoughts, always there to criticize and tell the truth. Yes, always seemed to tell the horror of what lays in the truth. 'Maemi you know your attracted to him to; just say it! Go on!!'
'I was going to anyway, besides, ..Attraction. .It isn't love! Nothing is love and attraction isn't!'
The other voice snorted. 'And i wasn't implying that it was, but since you mentioned it. .'
'Shut up!! Go away i am tired of your lies!' She shouted in her mind towards the one that never failed to tell her the truth.
The other voice became very serious then, 'I never lie, and you know it. You just lie to yourself.' And with that, the other voice was gone.
Naraku watched in amusement as she fought with her own self. Well, actually he could hear what was going on because the last shard he collected was used to give him the power of mind reading. At the time it didn't seem very important, but now, it was entertaining. 'I wonder if she knows that i can hear her?' He decided to speak up, to see her reaction.
"No Mia, attraction isn't love, but its a start, eh?" He was very pleased at her reaction. Eyes wide in shock and horror, mouth moving but no sound coming out. For the first time in her life, she was speechless. She didn't know what to say, denying him would only prove to the other voice in her mind that she, Mia, was lying to herself. Mia began to say an excuse, anything would do.
"I...I-I didn't. .mean it like that!" She was beginning to see why she would see him as attractive. Sure he was just a hanyou but he still had more muscle then Inuyasha. .and his red eyes did strike a note in her heart. 'Heart?! What the fuck am i talking about, strike a note in my heart!' Oh no. . she forgot again. He could read minds, no matter what form he was in.
"S..So Naraku i see you got your body back. . ." She tried to block the thoughts that came to mind when she thought about his body, 'Damn dirty thoughts, go away!! Go away!!' No matter how much Mia tried to deny it, she couldn't. Not now, after all he knew, about how she thought he was attractive; so whats the point of denying now? The thoughts pushed past her shield and ran through her mind.
Nice grin, nice body, cute eyes, great hair, beatiful smile, he's a handsome one. . .
She hung her head low and stared at the dirt that was suddenly interesting. "Get out of my head." she rasped out.
He listened to each compliment that was made towards him, each one not meant to be said but was said anyways. Now was the time if there was any hope in succeeding. He walked towards her and bent down on one knee, then brought his hand to her chin and lifted it up. He gazed into her guilt filled eyes filled with unshed tears. He inwardly chuckled when he saw her shudder, and that was just the reaction to his gaze. Oh yes, he'd definatly have fun with her.

Mystery Character:
"When truth is made and decided, even lie can not deny it. If the lier is denying the truth, it only causes more truth to spill out. So then, what can deny truth? Only time knows. . ."
