Author's Note: Okay I didn't think that it take me this long to type something up but my time has been consumed by working at Meijer and trying to figure out what the hell I wanted to do with this chapter. I really am sorry about that bad cliffie I left you guys. I apologize with this chapter and all… I'll try to make it as long as possible.

A Weird Twist In Plot

Inuyasha ran to his third block trying to locate where Kagome has gone off too, but unfortunately he discovered that Kagome had skipped the rest of the day. When Inuyasha was done with his final class of the day, he went outside to see if Kagome's car was still in the student's parking lot. He discovered it missing in action. Inuyasha came to the decision that Kagome had definitely skipped school.

 

He entered his car and thought of the first place that she would have gone if she weren't at school. He didn't think that she'd be at home because if she were there she'd have to put up with Kikyo and her whining to Mrs. Higurashi. The park flashed in his head and was auto-piloted in that direction. He made it in record time. He remembered what Kagome said about always liking sitting next to the Sakura Tree near the lake. By the time he got to the lake, her scent assaulted his nose. He was thankful that he found her here.

 

“Kagome, why did you run?” Inuyasha asked the girl.

 

“I didn't know what to do, I know my mom is going to be pissed that I skipped school and Kikyo will tell on me. I have nowhere to go.” Kagome hissed out trying not to let the tears escape her.

 

Inuyasha sat down next beside her on the grass and pulled her into his arms. He cradled her like she was precious, which she was to him. Kagome was surprised at the sincerity of Inuyasha. He wasn't typically like this. He was always tough no matter what. She broke down. She didn't want to, but she did.. Inuyasha consoled the crying girl by whispering that it was going to be alright.

 

“Now, do you want to explain to me about all this sleeping around that Kikyo did?” Commented Inuyasha, trying to get the girl to laugh, he succeeded by getting a giggle out of her.

 

“She never told you?” Inuyasha shook his head. “Well what I've heard and `read' in her diary was that she initiated some kind of `menagois a trois' of some sort with the football team. While you were out of town I think. Then with the Naraku thing, she's actually been seeing him for the past five months. At least that is what I've been hearing but after that face that she gave me, I'm believing it's all true… Mom sure is going to be glad we have a slut in the family.” Kagome cracked a smile.

Inuyasha looked down at the girl and somehow found himself chuckling with her. He knew he couldn't contain for much longer so he let himself have a heartfelt laugh. Inuyasha started to pull himself up off the ground when Kagome pulled him back down beside her and planted her lips on his. He was surprised at first by her forwardness but accepted it as it was and allowed her to dominate in this situation.

 

“Now, how bout we get some ice cream to cheer you up and then go somewhere else… We'll play it by ear. “ Inuyasha smiled.

 

As they entered the ice cream parlor, their noses were assaulted with the aromas of chocolate and various ice creams. Kagome ordered Blue Moo Cookie Dough in a waffle cone and Inuyasha ordered himself regular Chocolate Chip ice cream dipped in Chocolate. He was always found of double dipped Chocolate. Exiting the parlor they sat outside in the sun. Ice Cream getting on their hands, taking bites out of each other's ice cream. Time passed and shortly it got dark, Kagome didn't want to go home because of Royal Princess was always complaining about something.

 

“Would it be possible if I could stay at your place Inuyasha? I really don't want to face my mom right now, and I know something will happen tonight.”

 

“Sure, I just have to ask my mom. I don't think she'll mind. Let me ask her to call your mom and ask if it's alright.”

 

Finishing their ice cream was pleasant. Inuyasha climbed into his car as did Kagome. They were on their way home when something out of the ordinary happened. A car rammed into the side of them causing them to swerve off the road. Fortunately Inuyasha was injured badly. Kagome on the other hand wasn't doing so well. The door was jammed on her side. Inuyasha unbuckled her seat belt and gathered he in his arms and safely got her out of the car. There was a gash on her forehead and there were random scrapes and bruises on her arms and legs. Cars surrounded them, one person called an ambulance.

 

Inuyasha still carrying Kagome haunched down on his butt and hugged Kagome trying not to cause her anymore hurt, a paramedic rushed over to them and helped them into the back of the ambulance.

Breaking News!!!! A Car Crashed on the Intersection of Oriole Way and Cedar Ridge has caused quite a ruckus for rush hour. The People who were injured have been recognized as, eighteen year old Inuyasha Takahashi heir of Takahashi Inc. Was accompanied with seventeen year old Kagome Higuarshi, daughter of former President Higuarshi of Haryoun Corp. As far as we know, they have been transferred to the Jamoen Hospital. We've had a few comments from people on the street now… Ronea please tell us…

 

Well, a few people have said that they saw a car flying through a red light which has been identified as a 2002 Jaguar Coupe. It looked as if it was already planned.. People have commented about a same car parked in a garage not that far from the scene.

The television in the went off, A flash of silver was seen as he ran out of the house.. Parents following their son, they made their way to the hospital. Stopped by the receptionist, they were informed that their son was in room 297; the female who was brought in with their son was in the room next to his.

Author's Note: I am such a sneaky little devil. I've been twisting this chapter around so much, I could figure out how I wanted to do this. And this was the solution. Don't worry I'll post the next one as soon as I can. I am up at almost four o'clock in the morning for you guys typing this story… I know I'm not the best.. But okay.. I'm done, you hate.
