So I got really tired of re-living my past for a while. Now I'm back to writing. Even if no one reviews my story, I'm still going to write it. It helps me cope with some things. Enjoy.

Chapter 3

 

Inuyasha pulled into the parking lot of the nicest Italian restaurant in town.

 

Must have money if he can afford this car AND this meal

 

Silently, Kagome and Inuyasha walked into the restaurant hand in hand.

 

In the restaurant…

 

“Can I ask you a question?” Kagome asked playing with her alfredo.

 

“Sure, I guess.”

 

“Why are you so infatuated with me? Why am I special?”

 

Blushing, Inuyasha replied “Because you have a beautiful mind and body.”

 

HELLO CHEESY ALERT… But its sweet I guess? I hope I'm not blushing too badly.

 

Kagome smiled in return.. The rest of dinner was ate in silence.

 

When it was time to leave, Inuyasha once again peeled out of the parking lot. Kagomes heart was smashed against her chest as she tried to steady her breathing. Inuyasha took notice and smiled back at her.

 

“Don't worry babe, I wouldn't let anything happen to you” Inuyasha said snaking his hand to rest on Kagomes leg.

 

“I hope your insurance covers my death.”

At home…

 

Inuyasha walked Kagome up to the door.

 

“Thanks for taking me out to dinner.. it was really nice.”

 

Kagome expected a kiss goodnight but Inuyasha had other plans.

 

“I'm a nice guy” Inuyasha said backing Kagome into her door.

 

Their faces inched closer until their lips connected. The kiss was passionate but short.

 

“Goodnight” Inuyasha breathed into Kagomes ear, sending shivers down her spine. Speechless, Kagome mumbled something incoherent and opened the door to her house, leaving Inuyasha to go back to his car.

“ YOU DID WHAT?”

 

“Calm down Sango it was just a kiss.. Its not what you and Miroku do.”

 

“Oh pshaw. You have no idea what happens behind close doors my friend”

 

“EW THAT IS SO GROSS. Never mention that again, kay?”

 

(I'm going to fast forward to the “good stuff” now)

 

1 Year later…

 

 

“What in the hell am I going to get Inuyasha for his birthday?”

 

“Your virginity!”

 

“Haha very funny Sango. You know that will never happen. I'm waiting till I get married.”

 

“It could” Sango laughed.

 

Inuyasha and Kagome had been dating for a year now. Although they had love in the beginning of the relationship, things have been taking a turn for the worse. Inuyasha had become possessive of Kagome. He had even been nasty to her on one or more occasions.

 

Kagome would never dare tell anyone though. It was her business, she could handle Inuyashas idiotic behavior, for now at least…

 

 

“So we're going over to his house Saturday for his birthday right?”

 

“Yeah… Its actually today so I'm going to cook dinner for him.”

 

“Well I'll take that as my cue to leave then.” The girls exchanged hugs and Sango left for her house.

 

“Well I better go over to his house before he gets too mad at me.” Kagome said outloud

 

At Inuyashas…

 

“Oh Inuyasha mmmMmm soo good.” A female voice could be heard through the huge hallways of Inuyashas mansion that he shared with his brother.

 

Kagome had been knocking on the door for about five minutes before she finally let herself in. When those words reached her ears, she marched straight up the marble stairs to Inuyashas room.

 

Throwing open the door, Kagome was shocked to find Inuyasha, her love of a year, in bed with Kikyo, her ex best friend.

 

“What the fuck are you doing Inuyasha?! Besides slutty Kikyo! I thought we had something…” Kagome began crying hysterically on the floor.

 

“You're just trash Kagome. Inuyasha needed a real woman to please him, not you.” Kikyo said, getting dressed.

 

“YOU BITCH” Kagome yelled as she lunged for Kikyo. Inuyasha stepped in front of the two girls.

 

“Kagome stop it, Jesus Christ you drama queen. Kikyos right, you cant handle me. I was hoping you would put out by now but no. So I had to turn to Kikyo. You're nothing but a worthless dog Kagome, get out of my house.”

 

Kagome was shocked none the less...

 

No words formed.

 

Just tears that fell down her soft cheeks.

 

She stared at them both speechless before she got the courage to slap Inuyasha across the face.

 

“WENCH DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ME AGAIN.” Inuyasha yelled and hit Kagome hard across the face. Kagome fell to the floor, her face instantly bruising..

 

When she finally picked herself off the floor, Kagome ran for the door, out on the driveway, and across the street. She finally collapsed outside a neighbor's yard, sobbing hysterically.

 

That's where the homeowner found her the next morning. Her face was swollen and bruised from the night before. He shook her, but she wouldn't wake.

 

He finally called 911 and Kagome Higurashi was hauled in an ambulance to the nearby hospital.

So begins the journey. I'll hopefully type up a new chapter sometime soon.
