InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Life as I knew it would be ❯ Chapter One ( Chapter 1 )
[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
Hey everyone! Its been awhile since I've wrote a fanfiction. Actually, its been years. It used to be something I did to pass the time but now that I got a job, I've quit writing. To tell you the truth I'm not that good at it so it will be a miracle if someone reads this and actually likes it. Advice is good, but don't give me any suggestions because this story is based on my life. It's not all going to be true and of course the names have changed (duh) but the plot and all is my life. Hope you enjoy it and if you don't, stop reading it.
My stories run about 5 pages long, Microsoft word wise. They might get longer as I go along. I'm trying to string this story out pretty long but I don't think it would go over 20 chapters. Stay with me, it takes me a while to get the inspiration to really sit down, think about what happened, and type it out into story form. Not to mention I'm story writing challenged. =(
I'll go a little into description so I don't have to type it in the story
Kagome- age 16, raven hair, brown eyes, 5'6, softball player
Inuyasha- age 18, white hair, gold eyes, 6'0, into BMX and skateboarding
Miroku- age 17, black hair, violet/blue eyes, 5'11 runs track
Sango- age 16, brown hair, brown eyes, 5'7 basketball player
Italics are thoughts, yadda yadda
I don't own Inuyasha.

Ringgggg
As Kagome gets up to answer the phone, a groan escapes her mouth as she looks at the caller ID.
“Yes Sango?”
“Jesus Christ Kagome! I always forget you have caller ID. Wanna go clubbing tonight? Miroku met someone that works at this bar and said he could get us in.”
“Sango we're only 16! I sure as hell don't look old enough to get into a bar, let alone one that sells alcohol.”
“Chill, its Club 18. Hence the name.”
“Fine. Pick me up at seven”
As seven rolls around, Kagome's still picking apart her closet. Her room looked like a tornado ripped through along with a tidal wave of clothing.
“UGHHH IM NEVER GOING TO BE READY IN TIME”
“KAGOME SANGOS HERE” her mother yelled from the stairs.
A grunt in response followed by ten outfits thrown into the hallway told Sango that Kags wasn't ready. So she did what any other friend would do; she marched into Kagomes room, eyed a shirt, threw in on the bed along with a short skirt and said “There you go! A masterpiece, I tell you.”
“God, thank you!”
“No, my name is Sango, remember? Besides, I'm only god on the weekends. Lets go, Mirokus waiting in the car.”
At the club…
“Club 18” Kagome whispered under her breath as she looked cautiously at the old brick building.
“Miroku, are you sure he can get us in? I don't look 18.”
“Stop worrying Kagome! Look, there he is right now.”
Kagomes eyes fell upon the most gorgeous man she had ever seen. He had bright golden eyes that glowed like a cats and his long flowing white hair was almost as long as her raven locks. She couldn't help but stare at his strong features.
“Kagome, Inuyasha, Inuyasha, Kagome”
“He has to be a demon, there's no way in the world that could be natural.”
However, her astonishment turned sour once he opened his mouth.
“Keh, are you going to gawk like a little girl or are you going to come with us?”
A blush crept upon Kagomes cheeks as she nodded and followed them into the building.
Once in the club, Sango found a table and Inuyasha ordered drinks, non-alcoholic of course. Kagome took in the dark walls and the flashing lights from the dance floor. It was a huge building filled with many people around her age and older. They must not ID anyone.
“I'm so out of my element,” Kagome thought. Kagome was brought up in a shrine with good morals and a wonderful mother who raised her and her brother.
Inuyasha noticed her uneasiness. With a shrug, he got up and asked Kagome to dance. Kagome eyed him a little bit and accepted.
Once out on the dance floor, Kagome was surrounded by many girls bumping and grinding with each other and with strange men. Kagome rolled her eyes and concentrated on Inuyasha and her heart beat that was beginning to match the pulse of the music as Inuyasha enclosed the space between them. Hands went straight for her hips as she started swaying in time with music.
“Kami, she's going to be the death of me.”
Inuyashas and Kagomes behavior didn't go unnoticed by their friends.
“I think they like each other!” Sango said giddily.
“Good god it's like you're a matchmaker. Wanna date?”
“Ew.”
After a couple hours of drinks and dancing, Kagome was pooped. Her and Inuyasha had grown closer and were actually talking a little bit. The whole group was sipping drinks, talking and laughing. Before they knew it, it was closing time.
“You should come back tomorrow, it's even busier. I'll be working”
With a sigh, Kagome replied “It's not my type of place.” Inuyasha locked eyes with her and took her hand in his, earning a blush from Kagome. “Would you like to go to dinner with me then?”
“Uh… sure I guess. Sunday at 6.”
Sango laughed at the blushing Kagome and pulled her away from Inuyashas grasp. “Let's go Kags. You and Inuyasha can make kissy faces later. Kagome lightly smacked Sango and blushed even more. “See you later then.”
“Keh, bye.”
Kagome settled in the backseat of Mirokus car but not for long.
“I didn't know you could be so skanky Kagome!”
“SANGO, jeeze, all I did was dance with the guy. He seemed alright. A little rude.”
“AND you accepted a dinner invitation.” Sango laughed as a blush crept into Kagomes cheeks once again. Damnit I hope its dark enough outside so no one will notice. Miroku turned from the drivers seat to eye Kagome.
“You know, Inuyasha doesn't act like that at all. He never asks out any girl and he's never been so forward with someone. I think he sees something in you.”
Frowning, she replied “What am I, the chosen one? I'm not a piece of meat. He's still a rude bastard.”
“Just be careful.”
“He's your friend, why are you telling me to be careful?” Guys could be so confusing sometimes.
The ride home was quiet and dull. Everyone was worn out from the party scene and high heels don't feel good after 5 hours of dancing.
Kagome waved her friends goodbye and made her way up the shrine steps with heels in hand. She was lucky to have a mother that was so trusting. She hasn't had a curfew since she was in junior high.
The door unlocked with a click. The streetlight poured into the living room landing on Souta, Kagomes brother, asleep on the couch.
“Must have been worried.” She thought, laying a blanket over his shivering body.
Kagome tip toed upstairs, careful not to wake anyone, until she reached her room. She quickly undressed, not bothering to put on any PJs or turn on the light, and fell into bed. Earlier events played through Kagomes mind, bringing a smile to her lips as thoughts landed on Inuyasha.
So yeah, first chapter, finally out of the way. I revised it so many times. Sometimes I can be such a perfectionist it annoys me. Comments are great but you don't have to! I'll definatly continue to update this. Feel free to e-mail me any questions or comments too at blondechica2007@hotmail.com. Thanks everyone.
WARNING!! This story will have some lemons, abuse, depression, and other things not suited for little kiddies.
