Inuyasha followed his nose to his mate's white lily perfume. She was sitting by a koi pond and humming to herself. Inuyasha just stood at the entrance to the garden for a moment drinking in her appearance. She had black hair that only barely reached past her chin and tow furry black and white spotted ears atop her head. She had icy blue eyes laced with tinges of emerald green. A true beauty. Inuyasha, having not seen her in 8 years was so taken with her he could only manage to whisper her name,

“Jade.” Upon hearing her mate's voice, Jade turned with a start.

“Inuyasha!” She smiled widely and ran over to him, hugging him tightly. HE stroked her hair, allowing his fingers to again feel its silky texture.

“Hello my love.” He said tenderly. She squeezed him tighter,

“I missed you! Inu-chan, where have you been and-” She sniffed his clothing, “Why do you clothes reek of female human filth?” he tore away from her and reached into his sleeve. He pulled out a glowing pink gem.

“I needed her to track down the shards.” Jade looked at the gem and then back at her mate with a confused look on her fair visage,

“Shards? You mean the jewel was shattered?” Inuyasha nodded.

“That stupid human miko that my clothes smell of shot it with a purifying arrow and shattered it. I've been all over Japan for this, Jade. Now we can become full-fledged demons....with Sesshoumaru's help of course.”

“Sesshoumaru?”

“That's right. Sesshoumaru. His mother was a witch demon. He has her spell book and knows how to use it. He can help.” Jade nodded.

“I see.” She moved back into Inuyasha's embrace once again, clutching his cloak in her clawed hand, “I missed you......I love you.....” He held her tight,

“Like-wise, my Princess.”
