A.N.: This is the first of six stories I am working on. They have nothing to do with each other only that they will be updated at the same time. This one is S/I there other couples but this is the main one. In this story Sesshoumaru is infected split in two I don't know if that will stay or not.

Yokai's Idea

This was an annoyance and the Lord of the West could do little to change his current bother. The setting sun was sending the most vibrant colors on to the sky. The iceberg the Lord calls a heart would not allow him to see the sight as romantic or even pleasant, no it was bothersome and he wished it would be dark already. His hatred for the beautiful sunset was is only escape from this hellish boredom that was now his life. He could not escape his life like he did in the past.

Every excitement was gone. Naraku was dead and he could no longer pursue InuYasha for being a half-demon. InuYasha was now a fool blooded demon thanks to their father's blood; though he never really had a good reason to what InuYasha dead. He never hated humans actually he found them interesting. They had no of the power that demons but yet they live pretty well, there life is pretty short but yet they live more then many demons do in there entire long life span. Those who mate demons he found are the strongest because they survive the mating which is pretty violent, so he read and has been told. He knows now that he didn't like the fact that his father died for InuYasha and left him all alone but of curse he was not going to tell anyone that.

Sesshoumaru has never heard of a demon killing them-self but at this moment he might make history by being the fist and the reason being MINE NUMING BOREDOM! He needs something to do before he actually dose kill him-self. Sesshoumaru still a glace to Toukijin. `Ok now I think you seriously considering killing your-self.' A voice much like his own echoed though his head. The voice was more worming and kind so much so it almost seem completely deferent from his voice. It took Sesshoumaru to realize what that voice was since he has not hard it since InuYasha was pinned to that tree.

`Yokai you are done with the silent treatment I see.' Sesshoumaru stated boredly ignoring his yokai's comment.

`I have a name remember. How could you forget you gave it to me, Maru? And you where the one ignoring me I never stop talking your just so bored that you can't bloke me.' The yokai spat.

Sesshoumaru sigh and went back to his desk and set in the comfortable chair. He closes his eye and begins to meditate. He was now in a room that was completely white and empty except a merrier image of him-self except with red eyes that glared at him. He remembers at this moment why he stopped lassoing to his yokai. He was always right. `You where becoming annoying.' Sesshoumaru stated plainly.

`That doesn't give you a right to ignore me Maru. That hurt.' The yokai stated with a hurt look. Sesshoumaru felt bad then. His yokai was all he had growing up and he just pushed him a way. InuYasha and the rest of the world was right, he was a jerk.

`I am sorry Sessh.' Sesshoumaru apologized.

`It's ok I forgave you already. But I do have something that will help with your boredom.'

Sesshoumaru could have smiled but he knows Sessh to well. `How much am I not going to like this idea?'

`I can safely say you will hate it completely' Sessh smiled so brightly that Sesshoumaru shivered in actual fear.

`What is it?'

`A ball! Not just any ball ether, a mating ball. I found the perfect mate for you and you'll have to find out who it is by the end of the three day ball then we curt them. You will plan everything dealing with the ball and I won't help you in any way what-so-ever. You cannot get any help except for the decorating and even then you have to do most of the work. The maids can do the rooms for the guest but you have to individualize each room to help each guest feel welcome. The ball will start the night after the next new moon that gives you a month to prepare for the ball and four months to curt are mate and hopefully mate them during mating session.'

The more Sessh explain the more Sesshoumaru wanted to say no, but he looked so exited like it was the ultimate challenge. For Sesshoumaru it was. `What happens if I don't want a mate?'

“I know you don't that is not the point. You need some fun in your life and the mate I have in mine will bring it for you. I am positive after you realize who it is you will not like the idea but you will get over it. This person will bring you excitement for the rest of you long life, trust me.'

`You're not going to give me any hits are you? I don't like the thought of a mate period.'

`No I am not, or it will ruin the fun of watching you wonder.'

`Fine who is all coming?' Sesshoumaru asked with a sigh. He was curious as to who was chosen to be his mate. He was shore the person would only like the idea of being his mate do to his status not because of him. `Like any one would be happy with me.' He thought as Sessh smiled evilly. `This is going to be fun.' he thought sarcastically.
