Deadly Meeting

A young man walked down from his office to his car parked in the garage. He sighed lightly as he ran his fingers through his long silver hair. His beautiful amber eyes filled with the only emotion that could be seen but even that you had to be very close to him as in close to his heart not in distance to see that emotion. Which no one was close enough, he is a loner rather be by himself then with anyone else.

I don't need anyone else… I'm quite capable of taking care of myself. The young man thought as he pulled out the keys to his cherry red Corvette.

`No one to love, no one to care for, no one to hold, no one to protect, no one to hold you…' a voice argued in his head.

I need none of that… That is for the weak and only the weak. A means for my opponents to cut my company's life line… He argued back in his thoughts as he growled lightly.

`Think what ever you want I'm you and I know what you need.' The little voice argued again in his head.

Leave me alone I need no one. Just shut up and get out of my head. He thought angrily as he started his car then backed out of his parking spot.

`You are still such a child to believe that…I'm leaving now until your brain catches up with your body.' The voice said annoyed as the young man pulled out onto the road.

The young man growled lightly at the voice but said nothing further to it as he continued his drive home.

Several Minutes Later

The young man was driving by the school near his home when he saw a young woman with midnight black hair chasing a small boy from the school. The small boy was looking back at the young girl laughing as he ran.

"Stop! Car!" The young woman yelled at the young boy but he was al ready in the road when he stopped. He turned quickly to look at the car his eyes going wide.

The young man driving the Cherry Red Corvette slammed on his breaks trying to stop before he got close enough ot hit the young child.

"Sota!" The young woman yelled as she ran out in front of the car and shoved the little boy out of the way.

The young man had nearly stopped when he saw the young woman shove the child out of the way.

"Damn…" The young woman mumbled as she tried to get out of the way herself but there wasn't enough time.

The young man finally stopped his car. Oh shit… Schools been out for hours… And I hit a damn girl… He thought as he shoved his car into park then jumped out of the car running around to the young woman.

"Hey, girl… Come on…" The young man said as he picked her up off the ground. She looked up at him with her half-open eyes.

"Tai… Taiyoukai…" The young girl mumbled softly in surprised just before she passed out in the young man's arms.

"How'd… Never mind…" The young man known as Sesshomaru Taiyoukai said completely confused as he stared down at the young woman laying in his arms.

"Big sister... Kagome…" The young boy she had called Sota said worriedly.

"Come on boy get in." Sesshomaru said roughly as he wrapped an arm around the young woman's slender body then the other under her knees as he picked her up.

"What are you doing? Put her down!" Sota yelled trying to reach for Kagome.

"Be silent Child. Get in!" Sesshomaru said quite annoyed as he walked over to his care and placed Kagome in the passenger seat.

"No! I'm going to get Inuyasha… He'll take care of you for hurting Kagome…" The young boy yelled as he turned and ran off.
