“Ahh!!! Yurusai yo (shut up)!!!” said a girl in a teletubies pajama. She had just transferred in Tokyo about a week ago and is a new transfer student in Gakuen Shikon. Today is her first day of school and is very nervous that no one would want to be her friend since they were already 2nd year students, meaning a lot of girls have already grouped themselves during their 1st year. But even so, she still has a twinkle of hope that at least one student would gladly accept her as a friend.

She shut of the alarm and stood up from her bed. She walked towards the bathroom and started taking a bath, brushing her teeth and putting on some clothes. It took her about one hour to prepare to school. She was wearing a white long sleeves polo shirt with a green collar and green skirt that is few inches above her knees.
“This uniform is really kawaii (cute)!!! This is the only reason why I entered this school among all others”, she said. Oh! Just not to keep on guessing who she is, her name is Rin Takahashi and is a 2nd year student at Shikon Gakuen. She came from Heiomachi before she moved here in Tokyo. Her mother is currently staying at Heiomachi given that she had found a job that would be able to support her daughter's tuition fee. Leaving Rin live in Tokyo alone.

As she was eating her breakfast that consists of a fried egg and three pieces of bacon and an addition of toasted bread, she glanced at the clock. It was already 7 o'clock and her first class starts at 7:30 am.
“No way!! It's already this late?! I was sure it was still 6:30 a few minutes before!!!” She ran to the door as quickly as she can and rush to the school as soon as she reached the street of her house.
“Gaah!!! I can't afford to be late at the first day of school!!! What will my classmates think of me if I did!!!!!!” She was already close to the school when she accidentally bumped somebody coming from the left side of the street.
“Ah! Gomenasai!! I wasn't looking at where I was going! Gomen!”
As she looked up, she saw a girl wearing the same uniform as hers. The girl looks fragile and it was obvious that the girl is the shy type. She has silky black hair and soft brown eyes.
“I-I'm v-very sorry as well!! It was clumsy of me to bump into you! I shouldn't have run! I-I'm sorry!!”
“I-ie (No).. It's all right. At least no one got hurt. Ne (right)?”
“H-Hai.”
“Are you from Gakuen Shikon?
“Hai.”
“I knew it! You're wearing the same uniform as I am. Are you a transfer student there as well?
“Ie.. I've been studying there since I was a little kid.”
“I see.. Well, I just came into town and is a transfer student at Gakuen Shikon!”
“Oh! Is that right? I hope we get to be good friends!”
“Yah! I really hope so! I got to get going! Ja ne!”
“Bye-bye!”

“Ohayou minna! Today we've got a new transfer student so I expect you to treat her nicely, got it?” Fujioka sensei said. Fujioka Isakaba is my new homeroom teacher. She is 22 years old and is teaching Math.
“Hai, sensei!” the students replied.
“I take your word for it! Now, come on in, Takahashi -san.
“Hai, sensei!”

As soon as Rin entered the classroom, the students stared at her.
“Ohayo gozaimasu (Good Morning)! Watashino namaewa (My name is) Takahashi Rin! I came from Heiomachi before I transferred here in Tokyo. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu (I'm glad to make your acquaintance)!” Rin said as she bow her head.
“Ohayo Rin!” a lot of people greeted her politely.
“You can seat there beside the window.” Fujioka sensei said as she point at the empty seat next to the window. Rin was walking towards the seat when she recognized the girl siting at the back of her seat.
“Anata wa-You're the one I met at the street right?!”
“Uhm.. H-hai”, the girl said.
“So I guess we're in the same class, huh? What's your name? I didn't get the chance to ask your name a while ago, you see”
“My name is Higurashi Kagome.”
“Higurashi Kagome.. Can I call you Kagome instead?”
“Hai.”

“Hai! It's finally break time! I know it rude but that lesson was really boring.” Rin said.
“Haha! You must have come from a high-class school to say that the lesson was easy. By the way, if you don't mind, I'd like to introduce you to my best friend”
“Sure! I was afraid no one would want to be my friend.”
“How could you say that? You're such a nice person! I'm sure you'll get along with our classmates quickly!”
“You really think so?”
“Yes I do!”
“Arigato! So where's your friend?”
“Please wait here for a while.” She said as she ran towards the right side of the room. She approached a girl and motioned her to come with her. As soon as she reached my seat, I looked up at her.
“Yo!” she said to me.
“H-hi! My name is Rin Takahashi but you can just call me Rin.”
“Call me Sango.” She said.
Sango has a black hair and brown eyes. She looks boyish and tough. She kind of makes me nervous. But even so, I'm sure she very nice.
“Ohayo Gozaimasu Sango-san.”
“Haha!! You don't have to be so polite! You can talk to me casually. Don't worry! I'm not gonna bite! Haha!!”
I just smiled and nod my head.

The bell rang and the next class is English. While the teacher was telling the story about “The Four Dragons”, I spent the whole time gazing at the sky. I somehow make me relaxed.

Lunch break…

Kagome, Sango, and I talked about school and classmates while eating our lunch. We had chicken Curry and Mushroom Cream Soup with an additional of strawberry sundae. After we finished eating our lunch, we walked back to the classroom. We were also having fun talking while walking.
“You're a swimmer, Kagome?!”
“Hai. Is it really that surprising?” Kagome said with a disappointed look on her face.
“No, it's just that you look so timid that it never crossed my mind that you're an athlete. That's all.”
“Oh, I see. So that's what you meant!”
“Yup!”
“What about you? What sport did you joined in your previous school?” Sango asked.
“I joined a lot of sports back then. But I specialize at basketball.”
“Oh.. So our little Rin is a very talented athlete.”
“What about you Sango?”
“Tennis is my game! Nobody within this school can beat me when it comes to tennis. I'm pretty confident with that!”
“Haha! You really know your skills very well, huh?”
“I agree to what Sango just---“, before Kagome had finished saying her sentence, she bumped into a guy with white hair and silver eyes walking the opposite direction as us. By the look of him, I could already tell that he was a short-tempered junior student.
“Watch where you're going, you stupid freak.” He told her cold-heartedly. I was kind of confused because as soon as he said that, a lot of people were eagerly trying to wait for the outcome. But even so, it didn't lessen my anger by the fact that he called my first friend at this school `a stupid freak'.
“Gomenasai! Please forgive me!”
“I can't believe a stupid girl like you exist in this world.” He continued.
“Gomenasai!” Kagome said, shaking.
“Baka (stupid or idiot).”
Not being able to hold my anger any longer, I slapped him at his left cheek with my right hand.
“You really have the guts to tell a girl that she's stupid. Judging from how you talked, I could already tell that you're a selfish, rich jerk who doesn't care a thing about the world!” I blurted out without thinking.

I lot of people stared at me with pity looks on their faces and there were who echoed an “oohhhhh….”. The guy head towards me, stared me at my eyes and said; “You're brave to talk back to me like that. I'm pretty sure you'll be encountering me a lot.“ And with that, he left.

Even though I really don't know who he is, I have the feeling that school's going to be a lot tougher for her.
