The soft tunes of a quartet counterpoint of a piano, violin, viola, and cello could be heard flowing with the winds traveling from the window to the yard outside. The viola and cello balancing the violin with both it's low and mellow sound with the violins high voice There sitting on the bed was Shuuichi Minamino or better known as Kurama. Listening to the music he thought about his new school and life. Although many didn't know it except him and Yoko, ever since he finished his debt to the Reikai and when he moved he also quit from the Reikai Tentai. Lying down with his arms under his head he spoke with Yoko telepathically.

~Come now, must you lay on your bed all day or are you going to go outside and look at what you chose over staying with the Reikai Tentai. ~ Said an aggravated Yoko.

`I chose this Yoko, because of my involvement with the reikai I put my mother in danger, remember the incident in the dark tournament?' Kurama said.

~How could I? I finally got out of this ningen body, full pun intended.~ snapped Yoko.

Kurama chuckled at Yoko's answer

`So I guess you don't like this?'

~Of course not…all the girls are gone~ whined Yoko

`Do you always have to be like this all the time?!' said Kurama.

~I could but that wouldn't be who I am, a FOX~ Yoko retorted.

Through this small talk between the spirit fox and Kurama the song of the instrument stopped. Standing up Kurama looked around his room, all of his things have already been unpacked and shelved. Walking out he saw the sun still hung in the sky, so he started walking towards a park that was said to be around here. Thinking about everything he left behind, he also thought about what was about to happen not. Koenma, the young prince of the Reikai does have the permission of contacting him for a mission but only if it is a threat big enough to destroy the world or the three realms- Ningenkai, Reikai, and the Youkai realm.

Kagome walked down the street with her three friends Eri, Ayumi, and Yuka. Kagome of course was spacing out again and was instead thinking about all those time Inuyasha kept lying to her or the time he always called her names. Thinking of this she supported a scowl on her face, because of this her friends stopped talking and bickering about some boy that was a new student at -she guessed- her school and turned to her with a questioning look. "Hey, Kagome, what's wrong? Are you thinking of the new boy? Or was it that two-timing boyfriend of yours?" Eri said Of course she never actually told them of Inuyasha directly and they all assumed that he was her boyfriend. "He's not my boyfriend and I was sort of thinking of him, besides I don't even know who you are talking about this new boy" finished Kagome. " Huh? Have you not have been hearing us at all Kagome?! He is the most handsomest boy, no man, I have ever seen" said Ayumi. "Yeah, he's so dreamy," said Yuka with sparkles in her eyes. "He's also intelligent and athletic, I heard that he was transferred because of his mothers remarriage and also that his fan club got so out of control that he had to start home school, but now that his mother remarried, him, his mother, and his step-father all agreed that they should move to a new place away from the `insanity of the girls' as his step-father put it" said Eri. Kagome looked at them with a bored face `Great, if this guy has his own fan club then he's going to have a huge ego and will certainly be a jerk." Thought Kagome through this conversation they already passed the point of which Kagome leaves to reach her home, a shrine, seeing this she said a quick goodbye too her friends and walked down the street that she just walked. As she walked she felt as though someone was watching form the tree. She stopped and turned her head toward some of the trees that started to appear, as she got closer to her home. `It must be my imagination, there shouldn't be any demons here, it's probably a cat or a bird' though Kagome `but an animal can't make me feel this alert' she thought with a question. " I better get some sleep, i `m starting to hallucinate because of all the time Inuyasha cut my sleeping time " She said out loud in a whisper under her breath. As she walked she stopped at a red light then started to walk once it turned green. As she walked forwards she looked up just in time to see a boy with ruby colored hair and mesmerizing emerald eyes. Their eyes met for a minute until both kept walking to their destinations, but not until turning their heads over their shoulder. `He felt like…like a…a demon' she thought `well not directly, but he sure does have that feeling of a demon.' Kagome walked towards the shrine. Climbing the steps, she reached the top. Looking up she saw someone else other that her grand-pa sweeping the grounds meeting her there.
