Chapter 12
Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha. And you all should be happy, I quite playing games to update! ^.^ Thanks to, CandyGirlKagome! : ) (In case it wasn’t clear…Jisho is a demon…)
Inuyasha awoke to the sound of someone gasping. His eyes shot open and looked to where he had heard the sound. ‘Oh my god!’ He focused in on the shocked form of a boy.
“Excuse me…” the boy mumbled running out of the room, slamming the door on his way. This woke Kagome up and she looked towards the door in confusion. She looked up at Inuyasha in confusion, and a blush spread across her face, remembering what had happened.
“’Morning Inuyasha…” she mumbled, burying her head in his chest.
“Kagome…you’re brother….erm…he just walked in…” He whispered uneasily. Her eyes widened and she cursed angrily.
Souta ran out the front door and Jisho seen him run past and followed. She glanced out the window and was shocked by what she saw.
‘I can’t believe that Kagome and Inuyasha…’ Souta shook his head ridding of himself of the thought. He ran out the front door only to be met face-to-face with an angry looking Jin.
He hit Souta over the head, knocking him unconscious. He threw him over his shoulder. Looking around quickly he ran as fast as he could.
Jisho was in shock. ‘I-I trusted Jin!!’ She screamed at herself mentally, ‘How could I have been so blind! Of course he’s still working for Naraku! That bastard! I will get Souta back!’ She opened her mouth to speak. Nothing came out. ‘What the hell!? Why can’t I talk!?’ She tried to move and she couldn’t do that either. She sniffed the air cautiously. ‘No…Not him!’ Jisho turned around to be face-to-face with none other than…
Kagome hurriedly threw some clothes on and ran down the stairs. When she got down there, no one was there.
“Souta? Souta are you down here?” She looked everywhere, but no Souta. Sango walked up and looked at Kagome, “Kagome-chan? What’s the matter?”
“Sango…Souta kind of found me and Inuyasha in…bed this morning….And umm….have you seen him?” She looked at her feet, another blush spreading across her face.
Sango was happy and embarrassed at the same time. Happy that the two got to be together, embarrassed that poor Kagome had to talk about it. She hugged her best friend and smiled.
“No dear Kagome I haven’t seen Souta….but I did hear two sets of feet run down the stairs and the front door slam…If that helps any?” She asked the last part hesitantly.
“Thank you Sango.” She said sadly and walked back to Inuyasha’s room.
He sniffed the air and wrinkled his nose in disgust. ‘What is that smell? It smells like a demon…and its coming from the direction Jisho‘s scent is coming from…’ Just when he was about to go looking in to it, the smells disappeared, along with Jisho’s scent. ‘What?’ He sat on the bed, thinking about what that could be, when Kagome came through the door.
“Inuyasha? What is it?” She asked when she saw the look of confusion on his face.
“I smelled this…demon somewhere in the house near Jisho…then both scents disappeared…I think…I think Jisho is gone…” Sure enough to answer that Miroku came barging in the room.
“Guys…I think you should see this…” He said walking out of the room.
Everyone, Kagome, Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Hana, stared at the door. A note had been neatly pinned to it. Every one of them had already memorized the words on it.
‘Dear Kagome,
I have your precious little brother. You should have been more careful with him, with him being an ignorant human and everything. And someone has taken Jisho as well. Ah, you really are careless. And you’re supposed to be the great keeper of the Shikon no Tama?
-Jin’
Kagome was confused beyond all reason. ‘Why would Jin do this? He got to all of our good sides and our trust, just so he could more easily take Souta? Why!?’ Inuyasha noticed the wave of depression that passed over the girl and was greatly troubled.
‘Kagome must be so hurt…’ He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, placing a kiss on her neck. She blinked and a small blush appeared on her cheeks.
‘I will save Souta…a-and Jisho…’ Kagome promised as anger emanated off of her.
“MWAHAHAHA-” –cough- -cough- -hack- “Damn I really have to work on that!” a voice exclaimed.
“What was that?” A male voice responded.
“Nothing…” The first voice, clearly female, replied.
“Dear you need to stop talking to yourself.” The male said wrapping his arms around the female’s waist.
“I was not talking to myself!” She yelled kicking him in the shin, “And what did I say about five feet of distance at all times!? What did I say!!??” She fixed a glare at him.
“Sorry, my dear. But if you are to be working for me…You will learn to listen…”
Jisho woke up and looked around. ‘Souta!? Where’s Souta?’ Were her first thoughts. She tried to jump up and go looking for him, but she noticed that she felt sharp pains in her wrists and ankles. She strained against them, but to no avail. ‘What the hell?’ Once everything came in to focus she realized through the minimal light that there was some kind of demon restraints holding her down.
She took a deep breath and screamed at the top of her lungs. Just as she had planned a man came running in the room.
“Ahh, dear Jisho, I see you have awoken. I’m sorry for your discomfort, but you know once you defy the Master that terrible things happen…” He stroked her cheek and looked lustfully at her.
“Damnit! Don’t touch me!” She screamed biting his hand. He yelped and jerked his hand away.
“Where is Souta?!” She demanded baring her fangs.
“I can’t tell you!!” He exclaimed backing up and running away from her.
“Damn…I need help!” She thought immediately racking her brain for a plan of action.
Souta woke up in much the same predicament as Jisho. Only since he didn’t have demon eyesight, he really couldn’t see anything. And he wasn’t chained down like she was. He only had one of his legs chained to the wall.
‘What’s going on?’ He heard screaming and curled up into a little ball. ‘I want to go home!!’
Three knocks echoed loudly from the door.
“Would you mind getting the door dear?” Said the male voice from before. The female sighed and obviously reluctantly did as she was told.
“Yes?” She asked once seeing who it was. “What do you want!?”
“Oh please excuse me; I need to speak with the boss.” Jin replied.
“Very well.” She allowed him to step in the room then quietly slipped out before anyone noticed she was gone.
‘I can’t believe I have to listen to that bastard, just to get Kagome!’ She thought walking back to her room that she had to share with a small kitsune. ‘I wonder if that kitsune could help me…’
“Yes? What do you want?” The male voice asked coolly.
Jin bowed and went on speaking, “I just wanted to advise you that I have completed my task.” He spat.
“Good. Now you only have to care for the new charges you have acquired.” The man said smirking.
Jin clenched his jaw, nodded, and left the room.
‘That evil bastard. I can’t believe he’s making me do this! If only I hadn’t agreed to join him in the first place…Why did I again? That’s not the point…Now I have four fucking charges! Not fair!’
The woman had arrived at her room. She had actually come to terms on how stupid she had been before she had arrived at this…this castle. Before she had arrived, she had lost her ‘boyfriend’, whom she now realized wasn’t hers. But she still wanted him, not for the purpose of loving him, just to get him away from that wench that he was with. She was at a loss though; she had no idea where to start with her plans. The small kitsune looked up and smiled at her.
“Hello lady Kikyou!” He said happily flinging himself on her leg and hugging her.
She scowled and kicked him off. ‘Damn brat. He should know better than to touch me! What is it with people and ignoring my five feet rule!?’ the small kitsune sighed.
‘Well at least I tried…’ He though unhappily. ‘I would really like to try and help Lady Kikyou though…she always looks so sad…’
“Okay kitsune, listen.” She said sitting on the floor in front on him. “I’m going to need your help in getting to that Kagome girl, the one I have told you about, before that evil bastard gets to her. Jin has already gotten her younger brother and his girlfriend. That much I know…” She stared off, furrowing her brow.
“Yes lady Kikyou?” Shippou waited for her to go on.
“Oh yes…Since you are supposed to be very smart, like a genius correct?” She stopped and looked at him.
“Yes…” He sighed looking at the floor.
“Well Okay. I’m going to need your help in figuring out a plan. But you mustn’t tell anyone. Especially Jin!” She put more emphasis on Jin than was really necessary. “I know you’re smart, but I also know that you can’t keep your mouth shut. If you don’t keep this little secret of ours…I’ll…” She trailed off upon hearing footsteps down the hall…
Ok…So I don’t really remember what I wrote….[insert nervous laughter here] so please review!
