Chapter 1: Getting Back Kagome

Inuyasha was sitting down in doorway begging for Kagome to tell why she was mad at him, he had no clue why. Inuyasha had did nothing except love her.

''Go away Inuyasha, i'm not going to let you in.'' Kagome said.

Soon after saying these words she heard knocks on the door.

''Milkman.''

''We don't have milkmen anymore!'' she said in a rejecting voice.

''Uhm....COW.''

''Kagome i'm sorry for what I did...'' Inuyasha said in a sincer voice.

''Do you even know what you did to me?'' she replied.

''...No.'' he sighed.

She heard more knocks on the door, louder ones.

''Don't you ever just give up and go home??''

Kagome slowly opened the door and noticed something, that Inuyasha was still sitting on the ground, she looked up, in a U.S. Army suit was a General with atleast 20 medals!
''Daddy!!!'' she yelled.
She jumped in his arms, and hugged him like she'd never hugged him before, finally she let go because her dad hugged her so tight she almost suffocated.

''I missed you honey.'' he said.

''I missed you to daddy.'' she said still having trouble breathing.

''Who's this young man sitting in the door?''

''I'm Inu---

''Quiet maggot.'' the General said.

''Uhm, sir, yes, sir.'' Inuyasha said then saluted him chuckling a bit.

''That is Inuyasha daddy.''

''Inuyasha, this is my daddy, Jeriko.''

Inuyasha stood up and put out his hand.
''Nice to meet you, Jeriko.''

Jeriko shook his hand and then let go.
''Glad to meet you to young man.''

He could tell he was a General because when he shook his hand he had a firm shake, really firm but, Jeriko's hands were all rough, cracked, and worked out. After shaking Jeriko's hand he grasped his own hand.
''Nice grip there...''

''Mmm..hmm.'' Kagomes dad said.

Kagome invited her dad in, behind her, right after had dad walked in Inuyasha was going to walk in the door also she slammed it right in his face. Inuyasha plopped back in the doorway.

In the living room, Sango and Sesshomaru were helping themselves to left-over Chinese noodles.

As Kagome and her dad walked in they glanced upon Sango and Sesshomaru sitting on there small little La-Z-Boy coach watching tv , Sango was sucking a extremly long noodle to her mouth.

''MMMM....'' Sango said. ''Thats good noodle!''

They immediatly hopped up and said at the exact same time.
''Whos your cute friend?''

Sesshomaru said. ''Wait is that the stripper-man we ordered? Army uniform even, Sexy...'' Her and Sango shrugged.

After hearing all this Kagomes dad kind of looked at her with a weird look.

''I'm Kagome's ''Old Man.'' he said. Kagome then hit him in the stomach softly. ''Thats what you call your dads now a days, don't you?''

''Oh! I'm so sorry, we were kidding about the whole stripper thing, heh, heh!'' Sesshomaru and Sango said, even though they knew he didn't believe them.

They all blushed, Kagome didn't do anything but her cheeks still turned red as the sun itself.

Sesshomaru and Sango were standing up together as always then Kagome stood between them.

''This is our new home daddy. I love to be with Sesshomaru and Sango'' Kagome said with excitment in her voice.

''Yeah, nothing can break us apart!''

''DISSMISSED!'' Jeriko yelled and they all ran off except Kagome.

Later at the Java-A-Lota, Inuyasha and Miroku were sitting at a booth and were talking about how Inuyasha could get Kagome back, but every so minutes Miroku would say, ''I still got to find a way to pick up college chicks.'' It had nothing to do with what they were talking about, but Inuyasha always thought Miroku was a little dimwitted and so did everyone else.

Jeriko ran into the Java-A-Lota with his sweatpants and sweatshirt that labeled ''Army'' on it and said.
''RECRUITING PEOPLE FOR THE ARMY, FOLLOW ME TO THE GYM!'

Everyone in the Java-A-Lota went bolting off to the gym.'

Hours later, everyone was worn out sweating themself to death but Inuyasha didn't he was still doing push-ups. Everyone was laying all around the gym, Miroku was even laying in the dirty clothes bin.

''Didn't your daddy ever to tell you to take a break maggot?!?!'' Jeriko said fiercely.

''My dad died.'' he said while continuing to do push-ups.

''Well didn't your momma ever then?!?!''

''My mom abandonned me and my dad.''

''Wait you mean your parentless...?''

''Yes....''

He continued to do push-ups.

Miroku, Kagome, Sesshomaru, and Sango all knew Miroku was going to join the army, because he even said, ''I'm going to join, I have nothing, no girlfriend, no family, nothing.

''Why are you here?'' Kagome said. ''And what is he doing here?''

''I brought him here.'' Jeriko said.

'' Inuyasha is just trying to get you to like him, so he can get to me through you.'' Kagome said.

''No hes not, and he already knows I like him because I told him.''

''Kagome, I know whats going on between your dad and your mom, your dad told me...I went through the same thing...so whys it so hard to love me?'' Inuyasha said. ''I thought maybe it would bring us closer because the same thing happened.''

''Lets talk about this Kagome.'' Jeriko said.

''No, I'm not 12 years old and I don't have to talk about it.'' Kagome weeped.

She tryed to walk to her room but her father grabbed her.

''Why can't you love me?'' Inuyasha said.

''Yeah, why can't you love him?''

Jeriko looked down into her daughters eyes and saw tears running from then down to her cheeks.

''...Because i'll leave him.'' she said then started to cry out heavily.

She tried to go to her room again then he pulled her to her and hugged her.
''No you won't, just because your mom walked out on us doesn't mean you'll walk out on him.''

Inuyasha then cut in and wrapped his arms around her and kissed her, then stopped because lack of oxygen then gave her a great big bear hug.

''I promise i'll never leave you.'' she whispered in his ear.

Kagome wiped her tears away and sobbed. ''But your going to the Army in the morning with my dad.''

''No he is not.'' Jeriko said.

''Yep, I'm not going!''

'' I like him, but not as much as my country.'' Jeriko said.

That brought laughter to Kagome but then Inuyasha sighed.

Then in walked Miroku.
''Find a way to score me some chicks yet??''
