Wow, I can't believe it. I'm already starting another fanfic! I'm not going to work on this one until I finish the one I'm currently working on, but after I finish it, I'll start on this one! This is based on the manga, Mars. If you haven't read it, you should! It's a great manga and I love it! Here is a preview:

Kagome ran as fast as she could, but she couldn't get away from it. The sound of a girl screaming, screaming so loud it echoed. Kagome fell down, and when she got up, she saw somebody. She crawled over to the person, and screamed. It was herself, with blood all around her, her clothes torn, and bruises on her body. Kagome felt sick to her stomach. Suddenly a voice appeared behind her, saying, "Oi, Kagome!" She gulped and turned around. She knew that voice anywhere…"Remember, don't tell anybody. If you do, it'll just happen over and over…got it?" Kagome screamed again. It was that same voice…the same voice that …

Kagome woke up with a start. She tried to regain her breath. She shuddered, and started crying. It was that dream again, the same dream she'd had for over 3 years. Tears streamed down her face as the memories came flooding back. She looked at her clock, and sighed. It was 6:00, an hour before she normally woke up. She needed to get up and do something.

Kagome smiled, and walked over to her paint set. She was good at two things, painting and archery. Kagome has been painting since she was 4 years old, and practicing archery since she was 6. She loved both of them…but if there was one thing she didn't like, it was men. She didn't despise or hate them…she just couldn't be around them.

Kagome gathered some pencils, and a drawing pad, and headed out the door. She left a note for her mother on the kitchen counter. Kagome walked to the nearby park, and sat down on a bench. Kagome looked around, and immediately something caught her eye. Pretty soon she was drawing one picture, two pictures, five, ten. Finally she looked at her watch, and checked the time. It was 7:00 already! Kagome rubbed her eyes, and thought, `wow, it feels like its only been ten minutes…'

Kagome's eyes shot open when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around, and saw a young man with long white hair, and golden eyes looking at her. He asked, "Hi…um…do you know how to get to Fukaimori Hospital? I cant seem to find it…" Kagome couldn't find her voice, and when she opened her mouth, all that came out was a squeak. Finally she opened to a fresh piece of white paper, and drew something. The boy looked interested when she tore the paper out and handed it to him. It was a detailed map giving directions to the hospital. He was impressed, but also confused. Kagome nodded, and quickly got up to leave. The boy stared for a bit, then walked away.

Kagome felt her face turn hot. She looked back at the walking figure, and sighed. That was Inuyasha Kashino, the biggest playboy in the entire school. She didn't like him one bit!! When she got home, Kagome found her mother already up, drinking some coffee. "Kagome? Is that you? Welcome back…what's wrong?" Kagome shook her head and said, "Nothing, mama. I just saw somebody I don't like at the park." Her mother got up, and said, "He didn't do anything, did he??" Kagome smiled sadly, and said, "No…don't worry about it, mama." Kagome grabbed her backpack, and headed towards school.

Meanwhile, Inuyasha arrived at the hospital. One of his friends was in a bike accident, and had to have leg surgery. Inuyasha was also a racer, and a playboy…and everything considered bad in a school.

Once he got to his friends room, Inuyasha asked in a sad tone, "So its true…isn't it? Your leg is really gone? I guess this means you wont be able to race, huh? His friend smiled, and said, "yeah, but at least I'll be able to watch you soar." Inuyasha frowned, and said, "How's Kyoko doing?" His friend sighed, and said, "She's taking it ok, I guess. She promised she'd excel for both of us." He smiled, and said, "Hey, shouldn't you be in school now?" Inuyasha smiled, and said, "I'm going, I'm going…see you later." Inuyasha closed the door behind him, and slowly walked out of the hospital. He took out the crumbled map, and looked on the back. His eyes grew wide as he saw the picture. It was of a mother and child. He smiled, and smoothed it out.

Kagome sat at her desk, sharpening a pencil, when a girl accidentally hit her desk and knocked off some pencils. "Oh I'm sorry!" the girl apologized, and picked up the pencils. Kagome nodded, and went back to work. The girl frowned, and walked over to her friends. Kagome sighed, still smiling and thought, `Oh well, I don't care what they think of me…this is who I am.' The door opened, and Kagome looked up. It was Inuyasha; he was actually on time for class. Kagome blushed, and thought, `god, please don't let him recognize me!!' Inuyasha sat down, and closed his eyes.

As the teacher began calling attendance, Inuyasha opened his eyes, and looked over. He saw Kagome, blushing, and he whispered, "hey, your that girl from the park! Remember? You gave me directions to the hospital Kagome ignored him, trying to block out all sounds, when she heard an "Aso? Kagome Aso?" Kagome perked up and said, "oh, here!" Inuyasha looked at her softly, and said, "Kagome, huh…?" "Kashino? Inuyasha Kashino?" "oh, um…yeah, im here…" He turned to Kagome, and said, "Hey, stop ignoring me, will ya?" Kagome still ignored him, until "Ouch!" Inuyasha pulled on her hair, and sad, "Oi, stop ignoring me, will ya?"
