Synopsis? He stared into her eyes. She bit her lip. The crowded kept cheering.

Call Me Irresponsible

 

His heart was pounding so hard, he found it hard to believe that he could actually hear the crowd. His palms were sweating, yet he some how managed to make sure not to drop the microphone. He took a deep breath and couldn't believe that he was doing all of this for her. He peaked from the side of the stage and found that everything had been set up according to plan. His friend announced him to the crowd and, after a deep sigh, he stepped out into the stage.

 

"Oh, lord." He heard her say and a smirk adorned his face. He motioned to his friend to start the music, and sure enough, the bar was filled with a jazzy melody. After a few beats, he began.

 

Call me irresponsible
Call me unreliable
Throw in undependable, too

 

He resisted the urge to laugh. Her mouth was wide opened and her face started to heat up. Whistles and catcalls filled the bar as he began to sway to the beat.

Do my foolish alibis bore you?
Well, I'm not too clever, I
I just adore you

 

His gold eyes would not leave her blue ones. A smile was growing on her face and he inwardly gave himself kudos for making this a success.

So, call me unpredictable
Tell me I'm impractical
Rainbows, I'm inclined to pursue

She laughed at the last line. She cheered him on and began making her own catcalls. She was just amazed that he was actually singing to her, in a place filled with strangers and friends who would never let him live this down.

Call me irresponsible
Yes, I'm unreliable
But it's undeniably true
That I'm irresponsibly mad for you

 

He began to dance to the rhythm of the song and never felt more like a stripper or an idiot than he did at the moment. But it didn't matter because she looked so happy and that just made this moment unforgettable.

He kept looking at her because she was the only one that mattered. She was the one who made him feel special, so right now, he was gonna make her feel special.

Call me unpredictable

And she did feel special. Because he had never done something so public and dramatic for any of his previous girlfriends. And, he was declaring his love for her, publicly! Him, a personal hanyou who never let any one know what he was thinking, nevertheless, feeling!

The song finished and claps, whistles, cheers, catcalls, comments, and questions just filled the bar so much that he was glad he had put plugs into his highly sensitive ears. He nodded to his friend and a banner unrolled from behind him. She gasped, her heart beating so loudly, her eyes reading the statement.

 

Marry Me, Kagome.

 

"Well?" Inuyasha asked, stepping down from the stage and standing in front of her. The room was once again filled with comments and questions. He was so nervous and he didn't really think he would be able to take it if she shot him down. She was his everything.

 

"Oh, you are so getting laid tonight." Kagome said as she hugged him and kissed him senseless. He broke the kiss.

 

 

"Does that mean yes?" Inuyasha asked her. She laughed and nodded. He smirked and kissed her.
