The Pain

I feel the pain,

I feel the sorrow,

I feel the hate,

I feel the horror.

I feel your want.

I feel your need.

I feel your pain,

All bottled up.

I love you so,

Don't know what I'd do,

If you were to say no,

Where would I go?

I know you despise me.

I know you wish for me to go.

I know you want for me to die.

So why do I feel this love?

If you were to leave,

How would I bare,

This terrible fate,

Bestowed upon me?

Do you truly love me?

Or is it a joke?

Do you truly need me?

Or am I free to go?

For if you say no and then yes,

I will go,

To the one I truly love,

To my beloved.

But if you say yes and no,

Would I leave?

Or would I stay?

For I love another.

But, I feel your pain.

But, I feel you sorrow,

But, I feel your hate,

But, I feel no love.

So my choice is this:

I leave to see my beloved.
