Chapter 2: Good Bye What I've Known. . .

Outside the sun was blazing hot, it seemed to be a thousand degrees; however, inside two girls lay asleep well past eleven. The shades drawn, but the air-conditioner being on the fritz awoke one of the girls.

"God, I thought you had to be like thirty to have hot flashes. Oh fiddle-sticks, the freaking air-conditioner is out!" Kagome woke up and called the front desk. After a few minutes, Kagome's complaining awoke Sango who simply looked at the clock and rolled over. Kagome finished her conversation with the front desk manager and got dressed.

"Sango. Sango" After a brief pause and some more poking and prodding at the sleeping girl Kagome decided to get rough, "SANGO!" Kagome screamed in to her best friend ear.

"I'm awake you jerk!" Sango yelled at her friend and just when Kagome thought they were going to be moody all week Sango hit her softly with the pillow and began to laugh. A small pillow fight broke out before Sango got dressed and they began their vacation; for real.

"Oh I can't wait till tonight. I want to go to all the clubs." Sango walked around and gawked at everything.

"Do you want to go to the water park later today?" Kagome asked looking over at the sparkling vast wonderland of watery heaven.

"Yes, that sounds so refreshing." The two girls continued to shop until they ate a late lunch around three o'clock at a local Pizza Hut. As the two girls continued their journey, now returning to the hotel to put on their bathing suits to go to the water park, they saw a boy handing out bracelets.

"Hey, what are these?" Kagome walked over to the man and he began to explain about a great night club.

"You see, if I sell you one of these bracelets you can get in to Coco Bongo . They're only twenty dollars." The man smiled and flashed the bracelets hopingly.

The two girls consulted with each other, twenty dollars seemed a bit much to get into a club that they might not even like.

"Twenty dollars? To go to a bar? No, that is ok."

"Did I mention that if you pay this twenty dollar fee, then you get free drinks all night?" Kagome and Sango, who had begun to walk away, stopped suddenly and turned back around.

"We'll take 'em." The girls said in unison paying the man the appropriate price. They smiled and continued back to the hotel.

"I am looking really forward to going to that club. It looks like a lot of fun." Kagome mentioned as she put on a skirt over her bikini bottom.

"Yeah, I can't wait. It sounds almost more fun then the water park." Sango agreed, she was now waiting for Kagome; she had been dressed for a while now.

At the water park the two went in every pool and on every water ride dozens of times. They stayed at the park from about four in the afternoon until they closed at ten. The two took a cab back to the hotel and changed to get ready to go out on the town.

"God, I am starving, we should have eaten." Sango complained from the bathroom as she put their bikini's up to dry.

"Yeah, I was having to much fun to think about how hungry I was. We should stop by somewhere and at least get a candy bar or something." Kagome suggested as she slipped on her sandals.

"Yeah, lets do that. I am starving!" Sango came out of the bathroom, put the key to the room safely around her neck and the pair were off again.

"I found it." Kagome looked behind to Sango who was looking in the other direction.

"It is over there, about a block I think." The girls started walking, and when they saw the building they thought it was the coolest thing. Coco Bongo , it looked like a great place to go, hang out, and enjoy the night life.

As the night progressed the girls got very heavily drunk and began to dance with just about anything that wasn't nailed to the floor. Just when Sango thought they should leave before they passed out right there on the bar room floor, she saw someone she actually knew; Miroku had walked in and was making his way toward her.

"Hey Sang," he smiled coyly, "remember me." Sango smiled and nodded drunkenly. Kagome saw Inuyasha and ran up to him like they were long lost friends.

"Oh, my god, I love this place." she declared with an exasperated tone. "It rocks so much!" Inuyasha smiled at her and began to grind with her. Miroku, taking a note out of his friends book, began to grind with Sango too. Sango just went with it, she was very trashed and didn't really care what was going on.

"Ok ladies, the bar is closing, time to go." Miroku picked up Sango and began to carry her out of the bar; she giggled as he sat her on a bench and called for a cab. Kagome was still walking but with much help from Inuyasha. Sango looked down at the ground and saw that it was spinning.

"Hey cool, the ground in Cancun spins Kaggy, look." She dramatically pointed down at the ground and began to giggle again. Miroku had finally gotten a cab and began to load Sango into it and Kagome and Inuyasha followed.

"So what hotel are you two at?" Inuyasha asked so he could direct the driver.

"The Oasis Playa." Kagome said, she was still very coherent and it didn't even seem as though she were drunk at all.

The four arrived at the hotel about ten minutes later and the boys escorted them to the lobby.

"We can make it from here. Thank you both so much, you have been really great. Did you pay for the cab? You two rock!" Kagome said and she gave Inuyasha a hug and smiled at Miroku.

"Yeah, I don't know what we would have done without you two. Thanks." Sango said, she gave Mirkou a hug and smiled at Inuyasha. It was obvious who liked who.

"It was our pleasure. No trouble at all." Inuyasha and Miroku began to ramble modest replies. They stopped and the girls blew them kisses goodnight and went in to the elevator. The door elevator door closed gently on the two men and the girls waited the long ride up to their room.

"I don't think this key works. I don't know what is wrong with it." Sango said as she tried to unlock the door with the key still around her neck.

"Oh, we can do it, its ok. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..." Kagome began to repeat this over and over again until the door finally came unlocked.

"Yay, I knew we could do it." Kagome smiled and walked in to the room.

The two girls didn't even stop to take off their shoes, they went straight to the bed and collapsed.

"Gross, I hope I don't get like liver cancer or something. Yuck, I don't remember eating that." Sango sat over the toilet and Kagome over the sink.

"I don't think someone should be able to puke this much; it is unnatural." Kagome said as she began to heave into the sink again.

"I feel bad for our cleaning lady." Sango said through a dry cough. She flushed the toilet and as she watched the chunky green, brown mixture swirl around the toilet bowl she threw up again.

"Ok, note to self, don't watch your puke swirl, it's not pretty." she said as she finally gained enough energy to stand up go in to the other room.

"Ok, I cleaned the sink, you can brush your teeth now." Kagome called through a mouth full of toothpaste. Sango didn't even respond, she just got into the bathroom as quick as she could and began to brush.

"So, what do you want to do today? I mean, we shouldn't strain ourselves too bad, we are both pretty hung over." Kagome said as the two girls sat on the bed, trying to regain their strength.

"Why don't we go to the beach, tan for a few hours, eat some lunch, maybe do a little shopping, and then go back to Coco Bongo tonight?" Sango sounded as though she had been planning that all morning.

"That sounds cool, but instead of going to Coco Bongo again, why don't we go to that other place we saw. I think it was called Senor Frogs ?" Kagome asked looking over at her friend, after all, a vacation was meant for variety.

"Sure, works for me." Sango went in to the bathroom and Kagome was surprised when bathing suit came flying out at her.

"Well lets go." Sango smiled and closed the bathroom door.

The beach, which they had surprisingly not been to yet, was amazing. The stories of white sandy beaches, and clear water as far as the eye could see, were all true. The girls tanned on the beautiful sandy beaches for a good three hours, when Sango noticed something that might keep her interest easier.

"Hey Kagome look. Its that Parasailing thing. Wanna try it?" Kagome turned around on to her back and looked in the direction that Sango was looking.

"Yeah, that looks like fun." The two girls got up and packed their things calmly and walked over to the Parasailing shop.

It was the most fun any of them had ever had in the air. Both had a slight fear of heights, but they loved being in the air with the wind blowing through their hair. They could see for miles and miles, every hotel, every night club, even under the water. It was amazing.

"That was so fun Sango! Great idea." Kagome said with astonishment as they were walking to there favorite cafe for a quick lunch.

"I know that was almost better then like anything else we have done here." Sango smiled brightly as they sat down at a table.

"This whole Country is amazing; I love it here. This experience has been so necessary." Kagome said in a cheery tone.

"And that hot Spanish guy likes you, and that Iowa kid likes me." Sango giggled and watched Kagome's face turn twenty shades of red.

"Oh he doesn't like me, he just," but she stopped there because she couldn't think of anything but that Inuyasha clearly liked her.

After lunch the girls shopped around the market place some more, and bought bracelets, for twenty dollars, to Senor Frogs .

"I am looking forward to this. I saw a few people coming out of their last night and it looked like so much fun. They had like glow sticks and stuff." Sango made this observation over dinner through a mouth full of bread sticks. Kagome nodded approval and continued eating her salad.

The two girls returned to there room, slightly exhausted from the day of shopping and the heat, but nonetheless ready and excited to be going to Senor Frogs that night. Sango changed in to her pale green top and her skin tight camouflage shorts, she stated that they made her look "tasty". Kagome changed in to a semi-conservative outfit; a rose red tank top, black shorts with a little butterfly on each butt-pocket.

"You look really cute Sango. I really wish I could dress more, like you." Kagome said as she began putting on her make-up.

"Oh whatever, you look hot too. I mean those cute little butterfly's," Sango paused briefly, "they rock." she finished and began to lace up her shoes.

The girls began to walk out of the lobby and down to Senor Frogs , then they decided it would be much easier to take a cab. As they rode along they began conversing about the scenery and about people they had met in Cancun.

"I really, really hope that Miroku and Inuyasha are there. They are so fun." Sango said happily.

"We don't even know them. But yeah, I guess they are pretty cool to hang out with." Kagome smiled, despite her rational thoughts.

The club was the coolest place they had ever been too. There were florescent lights and everyone had a glow stick, necklace, bracelet or mouth piece. Kagome ordered a rum and coke, while Sango ordered a Sex on the Beach.

As the girls mingled on the dance floor, they noticed a pair of boys that made them very happy. The tall silver haired man whispered something to his dark-haired counterpart, meriting that they both smile suavely.

"Oh, Kaggy, Kag look." Sango exclaimed excitedly. Kagome then whispered something, inaudible to any passer-by and Sango smiled in response. The girls noticed that the two boys were looking at them and they began to grind with each other. A drink in one hand, and a glow stick in the other.

Inuyasha came walking up to Kagome and with the same suave smile said an authentic Spanish "hello". Kagome replied in Spanish as though it were her native tongue.

"Hey Sango." Miroku smiled at Sango and she began to giggle slightly.

"Hey Miroku. How are you?" She smiled as he replied that he was doing well.

The four of them began to talk steadily throughout the evening. The girls had arrived at the club at around nine o'clock and it was now well past one. Both slightly more inebriated then when they had arrived.

They had discovered that Inuyasha and Miroku had been friends for years, but Inuyasha moved to Mexico with his mother when he was ten and only spoke to Miroku on weekends. Inuyasha had invited him down for break and Miroku was having the time of his life.

Sango was dancing cheek-to-cheek with Miroku and Inuyasha was grinding with Kagome, who was finally beginning to realize they were on vacation and that she should let loose. Miroku leaned in to Sango and whispered something in her ear. She nodded and whispered something to Kagome. Kagome attempted to respond but Sango and Miroku were already out the door.

Inuyasha thought that Kagome was too drunk to get back to the hotel alone, so he called her a cab and took her up to her room.

"Hey, are you sure you are ok now Kagome?" He asked sweetly as he placed her on the bed.

"Yes, I am fine. I am not even drunk, you are just way to overprotective." she smiled cutely and he smiled back at her. She looked deeply in to his glowing amber eyes and saw everything she could ever want. The lust in his eyes told her the same thing, that he had to have her, no matter what the cost. She decided not to fight what she wanted and she slowly leaned up to Inuyasha, as he leaned down. Kagome brushed his lips gently and began to increase the passion as she slid back on the bed and pulled Inuyasha on top of her.

Inuyasha reached down to her shirt and began to remove it from her body. She helped him significantly as she attempted to take his off as well. Soon they were lost in the passion of the night, being in Cancun, with love in the spring air, a night of lust lingering on their every move.
