chapter two
kagome woke up at 3:00 am., too exited to go to sleep. (i mean come on! who wouldn't be? inu is soooo hot.) she laid there in bed starring at her ceiling just daydreaming about what would happen tonight. she smiled. she was so exited she wanted to jump on her bed,run around screaming, and cry all at the same time. 'omg!omg!omg!' she chanted over and over. her heart started beating fast. 'what does he look like?is he still ignorant and selfish?.....well duh kagome, he's still inuyasha for crying' out loud!' she laughed and rolled over onto her side and starred out the window until she fell back asleep.
kagome awoke to her alarm going off. she hurriedly jumped out of bed and turned it off. she was soooo exited! she went into the bathroom and took a long shower, washing her hair, face, and body. then she shaved her legs(well she doesn't want to be hairy for her man. lmao)and her pits. she got out and brushed her teeth then flossed them. she walked across the hall back into her room and picked out some Calvin klein lightweight denim trousers *cute*, a dark blue/navy t-shirt, a light black jacket that came to the tip of her pants, and some black open toed shoes that strapped up to her ankle and tied in to a little bow. when she finished getting dressed she walked over to her dresser and picked out a black belt with a silver belt buckle.she put on some see through lip gloss and walked across the hall and knocked lightly on shippos door.
"shippo?"she asked and pushed open the door. there he was getting out his clothes from his dresser.
"yeah?"he asked looking up at her.
"oh. just seeing if you were awake."she smiled and closed the door walking down stairs. she grabbed her black side bag(its one of those backpacks you can put over your shoulder and it sits by the side of ur thigh)and put in her vanilla folders a whole bunch of topics. she worked at the hottest Japanese teen magazine, arashi sakura(made it up). she made sure she had everything and grabbed her keys. she stood at the door and looked upstairs.
"shippo!" she yelled.
"comming" he yelled as he wobbled down the stairs. he was in a red shirt and some simple blue jeans.he slipped on his shoes and grabbed his book bag off the hook and walked out the door. kagome followed him but locked the door and got into her silver 2006 audi a4.(saw picture of it and i liked it!) she started the car and pushed play on her cd player. it instantly started playing Gackt, Redemption. she backed out of her driveway and drove off down the street towards the shrine.

she pulled into the drive way of the shrine and honked the horn twice. she sat back in her seat listening as the song ended and a new one started. souta came running out of the house with one shoe untied and his top three buttons of his shirt undone. he opened up the passenger side door and hopped in.
"jeez souta. you think with all the time we give you to get ready, you would actually use some of it." she said chuckling. he buckled up and kagome pulled out of the drive way and headed towards their schools. souta was now 18(don't kill me if its wrong!)he was a handsome young man with a nice attitude.courtesy of kagome and his mom lol. she pulled up in front of shippo's school. shippo unbuckled as kagome said "have a good day shippo."
"yeah you too kags." he said as he got out of the car and walked in to the school. kagome next drove to souta's school that was a good 10 minutes away.
"so...get a girlfriend yet?"kagome asked
"maybe." he said smirking.
"aw, c'mon tell me souta! maybe i can help with girl problems" she sugested.
"well....every time i go to ask her out she's always with her friends! i mean how's a guy supposed to ask a girl out is he cant get her alone for a few minuets?!"he asked getting all worked up.
"hmm... well just walk up to her and ask her if you can talk to her alone for a minute." she said.
"well its easier said than done. and what if she says no?"he asked
"if she says no, wait till right before class after her friends have headed to their classes and ask her." she said turning around a corner and stopping at a red light.
souta sighed."I'll try. hope she'll let me talk to her." he looked out the window.
"well let me tell you this,"she said having soutas full attention.
"if she does say no then please, please, leave her alone. don't keep asking. that'll just ruin any chance you would of had." she smiled at him when his face dropped.
"thanks kags."he said sarcastically
"no prob." she laughed as she drove to his school. she stopped out front like she did with shippo and souta got out saying 'bye'. she smiled, she didn't want him driving the poor girl crazy with always bugging her to go out with him.

the day went as usual. kagome had to do a few errands like going to the post office, getting lunches and coffees. when she was done with all that she started picking out the articles that would go into each of the eight magazines. she had to read, edit ,re-read and then she had to cut off any un necessary words then re-read them again. then it was the fun part! she get to draw small chibi people on the sides of some of the articles with little word bubbles that had their own opinion or little tips in them. when all that was done she took them to rachel, the girl from america(duh)that would select what order to put the articles in. kagome did this for most of the day. it was a long process, but in the end it was worth it.
kagome sat back in her chair with her hands folded behind her head.
"hi kags!" some one waaaay too cheery said, causing kagome to almost fall backwards out of her chair.
"hello akio." kagome said turning around an forcing a smile onto her face. 'great, not him again!!!!'she yelled mentally
"um...i was wondering if-" he started while blushing, but was cut off by kagomes cell phone. she looked at the caller id and said "i have to take this" and walked past him in to a side office.
"hello?" she asked
"kagome?" a male voice asked
"yeah" she said
"its me, nyoko."he said
"oooohhh! hi!"she said blushing for her stupidity
"yeah i forgot to tell you what time i was coming over....is around six ok?"he asked
"of course."she said sitting in a chair.
"well, uncle yasha-" he was cut of by giggling
"whats so funny?"he asked confused
"oh nothing....uncle yasha?" she laughed
"ummm...yeah that's what we call him." he said
"we?" kagome asked
"yeah me and my little sisters." he said
"awwww! sesshy had daughters!" she squealed with joy
"sesshy?" nyoko asked. now it was his turn to laugh. here, on the other end of this phone was a 21 year old girl calling the great tai youkai of the western lands sesshy.
"you like that nick name?" she asked.
"umm.." he stopped laughing.
"anyway....yasha wants you to bring pajamas." he stated.
'what?im staying the night now?not that i really have a problem with it.'
"ummmm, ok." she said a little freaked out.
"yeah i don't want to hang up, but i gotta go kags. see ya at six." he said.
"see ya." she said and with that they both hung up.
'what did that mean?' she thought a little confused, but shrugged and went back to work.

nyo ko sunk into the chair and mentally slapped himself. 'just let her know you've got the hots for her, dope.'
'if uncle yasha found out i have the hots for her he'd kill me!' he said to himself. he stood up and went to find yasha and tell him what she said.

late r at 5:50......kagom ran frantically around the house shoving a light blue tanktop with dark blue linings and matching undies into her bag, jeans socks and a simple black tank top,a tooth brush toothpaste and a brush into a plastic bag(didn't want 2 get hair or anything on her clothes) and some deo and personals into her bag. she ran down stairs and set it by the door as she stepped into the kitchen. she walked over to the fridge and got a glass of apple juice and sat down at the island in the middle of her kitchen.
(note:i didn't tell u this before & im srry. kags mom got a job for a huge world wide company and helped her pay for her 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house in the suburbs! kags bought her car herself ,you go girl. lol.)
she tapped her fingers excitedly on the top of the island while taking little sips of her apple juice.
'c'mon, c'mon!'she chanted over and over. 'gosh! why didn't he just give me an address and have me find my way over?!why didn't yasha come get me instead of nyoko? its not that i don't like him but yasha said HE would find me, not his nephew.'just as she set her empty glass in the sink she heard a knock at the door. she ran to the door and swung it open scaring nyoko out of his pants (not literally).
"hi"she said
"yeah, you ready?"he asked catching his breath.
"yeah."she said as she grabbed her jacket and bag.
"um you driving me or do i follow?" she asked.
"your choice."he said hoping she would ride with him.
she grabbed her keys and locked the door as she followed him to his car. they both climbed in as nyoko was mentally smiling.
he started the car after they both were buckled up and sped off twords the place they were going to stay. it was a silent ride until nyoko decided to break the silence.
"so, you er...um exited?"he asked
"yeah..."she said as she tapped her fingers on her thigh
"mmhhmm..."he said as he turned driving into the forest far away from the city.
"so, your the miko from the future with the short mini skirt eh?"he asked
"umm...yeah."kagome laughed nervously as she blushed. nyoko looked at her and smiled.
"heard a lot about you."he said
"like what?"she asked
"well, your a pretty strong miko even if your powers are untrained......your beautiful, thats true"he said as he saw her blush darken. he smiled.
"you would always go back to yasha even if he treated you badly, and you were the kindest, smartest, funniest, and niceseo be around girl yasha had ever met."he finished
"did...did inu say that or...?"she asked
"yup."he said. if it was possible her blush darkened even more! he smiled. he had actually said the first and last one but hey like shed figure that out. they pulled onto a gravel side road that led a little ways away from the high way they were just on. he pulled up in to a wrap-around drive way and parked on the side.
"were here."he stated as he turned off the car and got out. he ran over to kagomes door as fast as lightning and opened her door.she climbed out and said'thank you'.
he led her to the front doors but stopped as he noticed kagome was starring at the mansion.
'wow..its so.......beautiful and majestic.'she thought as she looked around. it was a modern day castle!.nyoko cleared his through and kagome walked up to beside him blushing.
"sorry."she whispered.
"don't worry a bout it. now im gonna warn you you might get tackled."he said chuckling at the image of her on the ground with mini 'sesshys' on her.
"umm...ok?"she said not really sure what he meant. he pushed open the doors as they stepped through. they were in what seemed to be an entrance room. it was a round room with a table in the middle with a vase of bright flowers in the center, stairs in the corner that turned at the top so that you couldn't see who was coming down them till they got to the middle of the stairs, and large windows that were like 20 feet high and would let lots of sunlight in if it were daytime. she dropped her bag as she gasped. it was like she was in a dreamhouse.the gasp didn't go un noticed by nyoko as he smiled'wait till she sees the rest of the place' he said. they heard some murmuring to the left and looked over to see rin with sesshomarou!
'omg!omg!omg!'she chanted over and over'do i still call him sesshomarou-sama?omg!' she was panicking and this caught rins attention. she ran over to kagome and hugged her.
"kagome! so good to see you!'she said as she let her breathe.
"rin?it doesn't even look like you!the rin i knew was this high"she held her hand a little above her knee"with a side ponytail and was barefoot."she said
rin laughed."well im all grown up now."she said "an you. the kagome i remember was 16 and had a green and white school uniform."she said as she placed her hands on kag upper arms.
kags laughed and hugged rin as she hugged back. sesshomarou cleared his through and kagome blushed as rin pulled away from her. sesshomarou looked her up and down and kagomes blush darkened.
"hello kagome."he said. kagome almost fainted.
"hello sesshomarou-sama?"she said unsure if he still wanted a title. he laughed and yet again kagome almost fainted.
"theres no need for such formalities."he said as he placed a hand on her shoulder. she let out a sigh of relief but soon regretted it a she found herself on the floor with little balls of silver arounder her. she managed to get onto her butt as she realize that those were babies not balls of fur! there were three giggling,bouncy, bubbly girls in front of her.
"awwww!' she squealed with excitement.
"i warned you."nyoko stated as he walked to the right, leaving them to catch up.
"and may i ask who are you cute little ones?"kagome asked looking at all three of them. they giggled.
"im Kaori!" the little girl on kags right yelled. she was adorable.....she had silver hair that went to the tip of her shoulders and golden eyes like her father but looked like rin at her age.she was wearing a cute pink hello kitti shirt with some black shorts and some pink flip.
"im Miyoshi!" the little one in the middle one yelled. she had brown hair that went to her chin and was held back with green flower clips on each side. she wore a green shirt and some dark blue overalls with some green flip flops
"im Mina!" the last little girl yelled. her hair was also sliver that was in a high ponytail unlike the others she had aqua blue eyes like rin. she was wearing a yellow shirt with a flower in the middle some jean shorts and some yellow flip flops.
"well hello, Kaori, Miyoshi and mina. im kagome. its nice to meet you." she said as she smiled. they giggled and replied at the same time "its nice to meet you too".
"all right girls time for bed."rin said as she shooed them up the stairs. they each grabbed the railing and walked upstairs saying'but were not tired'as they yawned. kagome smiled and watched them go. sesshomarou offered her a hand and she gladly accepted it as he helped her stand.
"well they must be a hand full."she said as she looked at him. he nodded and smiled.
"rins a good mother."he said.kagome nodded as she looked around...'wheres yasha?'she wondered.
as if he read her thoughts sesshomarou said "inuyasha is somewhere around here, let me show you to your room". he started up the stairs as kagome followed him after she picked up her bag. they walked up the stairs and turned to the left.
"my children's rooms are at the opposite sides of the hall way."he said. she nodded as he walked further down the hall and turned right. he walked down a few doors and stopped at a beautifully carved wooden door."this is your room. not just for tonight but for as long as you want."he said pushing it open and stepped to the side to let her walk in. she did so and was speechless...
"fell free to wonder the house for inuyasha. his room is right next door but hes not there right now,"he stated. kagome turned around and nodded as she watched him continue.
"well, me or someone else will give you a tour later on when you want, just pull that lever by your bed and someone will be here."her said."and thats also for anything else you need."he bowed then left down the hall. kagome was still starring at the room. it was breath taking, it was a large regular square shaped room with a small balcony straight ahead of the door. to the left was a large four post bed(der) with a canopy of dark red cloth that hung down each of the for posts. next to it, on each side were small side tables with little lamps and a small vase of her favorite flowers, wildflowers. to the right was a door, just like the entrance door to her room. she assumed it led to a private bathroom. in the corner on the left side of the door was a large closet, not the walk ins, but a wardrobe closet(like the movie the lion,witch, and the wardrobe.)on the right side of the bathroom door was a ovary, with a small chair, a large mirror, four drawers. two on each side, and some of the same flowers that were on the side table.next to the entrance door on both sides there were empty shelves obviously for her things like books and photos.
'this is so beautiful!and its mine!'she thought as she literally jumped up and clasped her hands together in front of her mouth.she dropped her bag on the bed wishing she brought more stuff. she looked at her watch. it was now 7:00 on a Friday night. she took out her pj's which were a light blue tanktop outlined in a darker blue, that hed a little boy with a big head and said 'boys are smelly' on it, with matching undies. she changed and put on some light blue pj pants that had draw strings at the top.
"now what to do?"she thought out loud. she put a finger on her lip and a hand on her hip."well, i guess i can go get something to eat..since i didn't eat anything in my excitement."she said as she sighed at her stupid actions. instead of pulling the rope that would send a maid up she walked over to her door and stepped out into the hall way, and closing the door behind her in one fluid motion. she walked down the hall the same way sesshomarou(theres 2 ways 2 spell his name. with the o at the end or with out it)had taken her. she stepped down the stairs quietly as she noticed the children were in bed. she walked to the left instead of the right. she instantly bumped in to someone and fell on the ground. kagome just picked herself up and apologized over and over while dusting herself off.
"are you...o..k?"she uttered as she looked up to see who she had just ran into......
