Sesshomaru walked through the halls of castle that was state upon

his estate. Since his father died he has been the land of the west's

new lord, also the youngest one. Not one to look back, he moved

forward with his life and problems, and right now there was a problem of gigantic proportion. The other three lords seem to have started to think that it was time for Sesshomaru to take a mate. All three started to get wary if there was no heir then the land will run amuck with demons wanting to get the status of Taiyoukai by killing each other and the West was a powerful land and must not be ruled by any common or low demon unless you want the apocalypse to shine on the land. And in due time of three weeks he was to meet the other Taiyoukai's at a meeting that he doubted was anywhere but here. Confronted with this conflict he set towards the gardens the only place he could go because of the sweet scents of the flowers that relaxes his mind. But previous to this none other than Jaken blocked him.

"Lord Sesshomaru!!"

Jaken screamed with his high-pitched voice. Landing in a heap then getting up and started bowing instantaneously, Sesshomaru watching with a look of irritation.

"I have gotten word of the other three lords, they have all said to call the meeting at you domain sire." Jaken said.

Kagome walked through the woods carrying a bucket of water. She went to get water for the soup the Kaede was making but stopped for a while to sit under a sakura tree that what is in full bloom. Arriving at the entrance of the village she walked past the gates while having some guards passing her stop and bow in respect. Kagome was what you can call the guardian of the village ever since her village was destroyed by demons and none left alive except for her. Walking to the hut of Kaede, the village miko, but before that Shippou the demon that was taken in not long ago and started to see Kagome as his mother met her along the way.

"Kagome"

Shippou greeted her, fallowed by the other children containing a variety of races, like a hawk hanyou and a rabbit hanyou and some human children and only one full demon, Shippou.

"Hello Shippou, Yuri, Kiki, Shira, Rei, Urumai." Kagome said with a smile. The hawk hanyou being Kiki and the Rabbit hanyou being Shira. "What have you been doing all day?" She said just now noticing the mud stains of their clothes. "We were playing mud tag!" Yuri said with much enthusiasm. "Yeah, yeah we were, you want you play? It'll be so much fun Kagome-sama, all you do if get a handful of mud and throw at the person who's it and splat! The mud hits and then your it, but sometimes the mud has ants so be careful!" Rei said all of this in a happy tune. Urumai, Shira, and Kiki started to tell of the game also, how they made it up all by them selves and no one helped them. `It seems Rei got some sugar' she thought seeing running back to where they came from fallowed by the others. Then a voice called. "Kiki come here, why are you covered in mud?" The woman named Yumi, the mother of Kiki scolded slighly. Bending down she wiped the mud from her face. "Be back before dinner, your going to take a long bath" `It seems Rei got some sugar' she thought seeing running back to where they came from fallowed by the others. "Need help Kagome?" Shippou asked. "Not it's all right to and play it'll be dinner soon." She responded. Before she could walk forward she felt a strong power flare up. "What's wrong Kagome?" He asked again. The people surrounding her stopped and looked up knowing if Kagome felt anything then they must be alert. "It's nothing go on and play" some of the people went back to their work but some still stood. Shippou looked at her worried and quizzically by left. Kagome walked to one of them all the time wondering what that was. "Make sure everyone is on alert, if felt something flare up, it's gone, but it might come back." She wispered. The young man nodded and went to tell the others. Kagome's life was always like this after her village died out. Since she was young she had always had to train.

At the age of five she started to train with a miko for five years until the miko died of a sickness, then afterwards she started to train with an old aged samurai that wanted his style of fighting to be passed on and not be diminished and since both his sons were killed in a Civil War he gladly took Kagome under his wing. Before he had died both traveled to a village of where he originated form, a samurai village. Different from the other samurai villages, this village used both the way of the Samurai or Bushido, the Demon slayer abilities and the holy powers of the monks and mikos and they also took in demons that were abandon and hanyou's who where resented. But throughout the years that this village was established not one person seem to have all three except for one, a young woman by the name of Midoriko, and when Kunai, the old aged samurai came with a ten year old Kagome, it became two people that could have all three of these abilities. And now she was eighteen.
