Chapter 5

During the whole day of school Inuyasha couldn't help but think about his the kiss Kagome

had given him. He was a bit dissapointed though, he always wanted to kiss her first. The only think

bothering him was that she looked just liked Kikyou. He didn't really talk about her because she

dumped him right before an accident that killed her.

Flashback

"Inuyasha," said a voice from the phone," can I talk to you in Central Park around '5'?

"Sure Kikyou" replied Inuyasha. " I'll be there, bye" Inuyasha hung up the phone. It must have

been really important for to ask him to come somewhere on the phone instead of just telling him.

He looked at his watch. I was 4:55. He jumped out the window of his house and ran to Central Park

in light speed.

By the time he got there he looked at his watch. It was 5:00. Not to late or early. He

spotted Kikyou sitting on a bench. " Hey Kikyou, there you are" called Inuyasha. Kikyou looked up

with a fake smile. But he didn't care. He loved her more than life, just the sight of her smiling real

or fake warmed his heart up. " So what did you want to talk to me about?" asked Inuyasha. He

could sense sadness in her. She turned her head to Inuyasha's face before she stood up.

"Inuyasha, it's really hard for me to say this but.." Kikyou looked down on the ground

before continuing,"I think we should see other people''. Inuyasha was stunned. More than that heart

broken. When Kikyou looked up at him she saw the sadness in his eyes. She broke out crying."

Please Inuyasha, don't look at me like that. I still love you but you need someone better than me.

I still love you and all but I think we're falling apart." Kikyou sniffed.

"Kikyou please don't cry. Don't leave me. Your everything to me. Your the one who brought

joy to my heart. Except for maybe Mirkou as a friend I mean. Can't we stay together please?"

asked Inuyasha." I'm sorry Inuyasha. But it just won't work out." And with that Kikyou ran onto the

road. half way she turned to him. Then a car racing down the street was coming towards Kikyou.

The driver not see anyone the road crashed into Kikyou and kept going. " NOOOOOO" screamed

Inuyasha. He was holding a bloody Kikyou in his arms. " Someboy help" screamed Inuyasha.

Some people gathered around the pair. One of the people dialed 911.

When the ambulance came they carried Kikyou on the stercher. And her final words to him

was " Inuyasha..... I .... hope you ..........find....... someone better than me to love. Who will care

for you and even........agure with..... with you........and help you.............in your troubles." And with

that Kikyou died.

Inuyasha woke up with a start. He was in his first period class. And it had just ended. His

heart became sore but when he saw Kagome's face all the joy in the world came back to him. He

soon forgot what he saw in his sleep.
