“YOU ARE AN IDIOT!”

 

Sango's Hiraikotsu destroyed the trees in its path, zooming towards Inuyasha.

 

Inuyasha kept quiet while running from Sango, for two reasons.

 

First, with Sango's amazing strength, she managed to hurt Inuyasha with some internal injuries and the other is from the truth that came from Sango.

“Kagome… Is everything al-”

 

“Mama!”

 

Kagome hugged her mother and continued sobbing.

 

Mrs. Higurashi could not do anything except make soothing noises to calm her daughter while stroking her hair gently.

 

Kagome was slowly lulled to sleep with tears still falling, as she dreamt about Inuyasha.

Sango had calmed down a little after hitting Inuyasha for the 5th time with her Hiraikotsu.

 

“Damn it woman! Must you hit so hard?” rubbing a sore spot.

 

“I wanted to hit harder for your stupidity but I need you alive to get Kagome back!”

 

“The well is fucking sealed!”

 

“Then get it UN-SEALED!”

 

“I CAN'T!”

 

Sango raised her eyebrow.

 

“What do you mean by you can't?”

 

Miroku, who was silently watching the argument, stepped in to explain.

 

“Sango, remember when Kagome-sama asked for a talisman that c-”

 

“… That could s-seal something…” Sango whispered ever so softly.

 

Inuyasha froze.

 

Shocked at what he heard from Sango.

 

“Explain… NOW!” Inuyasha growled.

 

Sango glanced at Miroku for support and he stood beside her, prepared to tell an explanation to the hanyou.

Kagome woke up and reached for the drawer beside her bed and pulled out the rosary.

 

`Inuyasha...'

 

She fingered it for a moment, wore it and ran down to have her breakfast.

 

“Kagome, are you sure you want to go to school today? Your grandfather could make up an excuse for your absence…” Mrs. Higurashi asked.

 

“Hmm… What do you think? Leukemia or Pneumonia? ”

 

Sweatdropped at the back of Kagome's head.

 

“It's ok… I want to go… Ja ne!”

 

She ran off after her brother.

 

On her way, she kept on seeing red and silver and automatically thought of Inuyasha.

 

`Come on Kagome… You sealed the well remember?'

 

::Flashback::

 

Kagome was about to leave for the old Bone Eater's Well when she heard familiar voices of Sango and Miroku. [A/N: Inuyasha is in a VERY DEEP sleep so he can't hear or smell anything.]

 

“Kagome-sama, do you really wish to leave us?” Miroku asked as he and Sango stepped out of the shadows.

 

“Miroku-sama! Sango-chan! I thought you were asleep!”

 

“Iie Kagome-chan, we were awake the whole time… Are you sure you're not coming back?”

 

Kagome looked down as she replied.

 

“Hai… I think it's better this way… Even though I don't like it.”

 

`Kagome-chan…'

 

“Um Miroku-sama, do you know how to seal something?”

 

He frowned in confusion.

 

“Why do you ask?”

 

Kagome breathed in deeply.

 

“I-I want to seal the well…”

 

“Nani?! I won't allow it Kagome-sama!”

 

“Please! I need to do this!”

 

“Iie!”

 

Kagome finally looked up with tears streaming down her face.

 

“Onegai Miroku-sama! I don't want to do this either! Demo… I must, for the sake of your happiness.”

 

“What about yours?” Sango asked quietly.

 

“Me? I-I can handle… It's my era isn't it?”

 

Kagome hugged Sango.

 

“I'll be ok… Really…”

 

Miroku handed a talisman with weird markings to Kagome.

 

“Here you go Kagome-sama. Paste this onto your side of the well and it will be sealed.”

 

“Arigato Gozaimasu Miroku-sama… Take care of Sango-chan and Shippo-chan for me.”

 

Without hearing for a reply, Kagome got on Kirara and flew off into the skies and headed towards the direction of the Inuyasha Forest.

 

“… Hai Kagome-sama” He wrapped an arm over a silently sobbing Sango who leaned onto his shoulder and cried softly.

 

::End Of Flashback::

 

“Gomen Sango-chan, Miroku-sama…”

“WHAT!? You let her go just like that!?”

 

Inuyasha was shaking with anger.

 

“You can't talk! You're the one who MADE her leave! I can't believe you chose a clay pot over Kagome-chan!” Sango yelled

 

“I didn't damn it! I killed Kikyo for kami's sake!”

 

“YOU WHAT!?” Shippo's eyes grew large in shock.

 

“What do you mean by you killed Kikyo?”

 

“I. KILLED. HER!”

 

He felt uncomfortable in that particular confrontation.

 

Sango, Shippo and Miroku found it hard to believe that Inuyasha, who always left Kagome for Kikyo, killed the latter.

 

“Then why did Kagome leave?” Shippo piped up.

 

“She… Doesn't know… Damn it!

 

He punched the wall and left the hut.

Kagome was spacing out as her friends' gossip about the hottest guys in school.

 

“Kagome? Kagome!” Yuka snapped her fingers.

 

“Huh? What?”

 

Ayumi and Eri sighed and shook their heads.

 

“I said who are you going to take to the Halloween Dance?”

That was a little boring to me... How bout you people? The next chapter will be better. The well is still sealed but Kag and Inuyasha will `see' each other. Feelings revealed? Maybe... Watch out for the next chapter: Love Conquers All… Sounds lame but I'm running out of ideas… Review ok? Ja ne!
